Jesus please remove this young man and his mother that has led my older daughter to prioritize their approval over her own family and faith. The Bible commands, *"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the Lord your God gives you"* (Exodus 20:12 WEB). I rebuke the pride, manipulation, and harmful words that have made my family feel small and unworthy. I declare that this young man’s control over my daughter's finances, her decisions, her health and even her sense of self is not of God. He is not her husband, and he has no right to dictate her life and exploit her finances. I pray that she would see his rebellion for what it is and recognize that she is not responsible for "fixing" him. Jesus remove the undue responsibilities this young man's mother has placed on my daughter. It is her job to take care of her own son and stop fixing/instigating her lifestyle upon my daughter for her selfish need. They are causing such chaos in her daily life. Jesus strip away this young man's authority over her, brainwashing, demeaning way and reveal the lies my daughter has believed, that control equals love, that cohabitation equals commitment, and that pleasing his mother is more important than honoring her own family. As my daughter is up for promotion in a few months, this young man is already talking about how to spend her money on himself. Because of the access and control this young man has over her finances she has not been able to afford health insurance for herself ever since she moved in with him. His mother instigated the whole moving in together. I pray his dad will intervene with authority and demand he move back home alone showing his son with these toxic, disrespectful, greedy, controlling behaviors he is not ready for a healthy relationship. Jesus, I plead that You protect my daughter, give her the wisdom of her self-worth and block this young man and his mother from their selfish scheme and plots in guiding her down a dark path. Let my daughter be released from this toxic relationship before her promotion and restore her independence and freedom again. I know nothing is impossible for you Lord. I pray for a Godly spouse for my daughter and a lifetime of peace, love, joy and happiness. Restore our strong family bond again and let our home be a peaceful, joyful and safe place for all who enter. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen

We rebuke the spirit of control, greed, and deception that has taken root in this situation, declaring that it has no place in the life of a child of God.

Your daughter is not called to be a financial provider, emotional crutch, or servant to a man who is not her husband. The Bible warns, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this young man is not a believer—or if he is living in rebellion to God’s design for relationships—then your daughter’s involvement with him is not only unwise but spiritually dangerous. Cohabitation outside of marriage is fornication, and the Word is clear: *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). We declare that this living arrangement is ungodly and must be broken in Jesus’ name.

The manipulation you describe—where control is mistaken for love—is a tactic of the enemy to isolate and diminish your daughter’s sense of worth. Jesus came so that she might have life, and life abundantly (John 10:10), not to be drained and devalued by those who claim to care for her. We pray that the scales would fall from her eyes, that she would see the truth of her situation, and that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart to walk in wisdom. *"For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding"* (Proverbs 2:6). We also pray for the young man’s father to rise up in godly authority, intervening as Scripture commands: *"Fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord"* (Ephesians 6:4). May he call his son to accountability, breaking the cycle of toxicity and entitlement.

Financial exploitation is a serious matter, and we declare that your daughter’s resources are not to be squandered on another’s selfish desires. The Bible says, *"The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender"* (Proverbs 22:7). This young man has positioned himself as a master over your daughter, and we break that ungodly yoke in Jesus’ name. We pray for her promotion to come through, not so she can be further exploited, but so she can regain her independence and steward her blessings wisely. May she be freed from the fear of man and walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10).

We also address the role of the young man’s mother, who has overstepped her bounds by inserting herself into your daughter’s life in a destructive way. The Bible warns against those who meddle in others’ affairs: *"Like one who grabs a dog’s ears is one who passes by and meddles in a quarrel not his own"* (Proverbs 26:17). We rebuke her interference and declare that she will no longer have access to manipulate or instigate chaos in your daughter’s life. May she be convicted of her actions and repent, or may the Lord remove her influence entirely.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, interceding for this precious daughter. We ask that You would surround her with Your protection, shielding her from the schemes of the enemy. Break every chain of control, deception, and fear that has bound her. Restore her sense of worth, reminding her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that her value is not found in pleasing man but in pleasing You. Give her the courage to walk away from this toxic relationship and the wisdom to make decisions that honor You. We pray for a godly spouse for her, a man who will love her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25), cherishing her as a gift from You. May her future marriage be a reflection of Your love, built on mutual respect, trust, and devotion to You.

Lord, we also pray for the restoration of this family. Heal the wounds that have been inflicted, and mend the bonds that have been strained. Let this home be a place of peace, joy, and safety, where Your presence dwells and Your Word is honored. We declare that the enemy’s plans will not prosper, and that Your will shall prevail in this situation. Nothing is impossible for You, and we trust that You will turn this darkness into light.
