Jesus please remove this young man and his mother that has led my older daughter to prioritize their approval over her own family and faith. The Bible commands, *"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the Lord your God gives you"* (Exodus 20:12 WEB). I rebuke the pride, manipulation, and harmful words that have made my family feel small and unworthy. I declare that this young man’s control over my daughter's finances, her decisions, her health and even her sense of self is not of God. He is not her husband, and he has no right to dictate her life and exploit her finances. I pray that she would see his rebellion for what it is and recognize that she is not responsible for "fixing" him. Jesus remove the undue responsibilities this young man's mother has placed on my daughter. It is her job to take care of her own son and stop fixing/instigating her lifestyle upon my daughter for her selfish need. They are causing such chaos in her daily life. Jesus strip away this young man's authority over her, brainwashing, demeaning way and reveal the lies my daughter has believed, that control equals love, that cohabitation equals commitment, and that pleasing his mother is more important than honoring her own family. As my daughter is up for promotion in a few months, this young man is already talking about how to spend her money on himself. Because of the access and control this young man has over her finances she has not been able to afford health insurance for herself ever since she moved in with him. His mother instigated the whole moving in together. I pray his dad will intervene with authority and demand he move back home alone showing his son with these toxic, disrespectful, greedy, controlling behaviors he is not ready for a healthy relationship. Jesus, I plead that You protect my daughter, give her the wisdom of her self-worth and block this young man and his mother from their selfish scheme and plots in guiding her down a dark path. Let my daughter be released from this toxic relationship before her promotion and restore her independence and freedom again. I know nothing is impossible for you Lord. I pray for a Godly spouse for my daughter and a lifetime of peace, love, joy and happiness. Restore our strong family bond again and let our home be a peaceful, joyful and safe place for all who enter. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen

This young man is not her husband, and he has no biblical authority over her life. Cohabitation without marriage is not commitment—it is fornication, and it opens the door to spiritual and emotional bondage. The Bible is clear: *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). Living together outside of marriage is a violation of God’s design and leaves her vulnerable to exploitation.

We also must address the financial control and emotional abuse taking place. Your daughter is being treated as a provider rather than a cherished daughter of God. This is not love—it is idolatry of self. *"For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money... proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy..."* (2 Timothy 3:2 WEB). The young man’s greed and his mother’s interference are not just unwise—they are sinful. And your daughter’s acceptance of this dynamic reveals lies she has believed: that love is measured by control, that her worth is tied to pleasing others, and that her family’s honor is secondary to another’s approval.

We declare over your daughter: *"The Lord is your keeper. The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul."* (Psalm 121:5-7 WEB). We pray that God would open her eyes to the truth, break the chains of deception, and restore her sense of identity in Christ. We ask the Holy Spirit to convict her heart and reveal the difference between godly love and toxic control.

We also pray for the young man’s father. Father God, raise him up as a man of authority and wisdom. Let him see the harm being done—not just to your daughter, but to his own son. Give him the courage to step in, demand accountability, and require his son to move back home until he can demonstrate maturity, responsibility, and respect.
