Possessed by a demon

We are truly concerned for your situation and we stand with you in prayer and truth. First, we must address that possession is a strong term, but we do know that demons can influence and oppress. It is important to remember that as believers in Jesus Christ we have authority over all the power of the enemy.
2 Timothy 1:7 WEB For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
We must first ask if you have made Jesus Christ Lord and Savior of your life. It is only through His name that we have authority over the enemy.
Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
If you have not yet done this, we urge you to repent and believe in Jesus Christ. If you have, then we stand with you in His authority.
We pray: Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ. We plead the blood of Jesus over this dear one's life and we rebuke any demonic influence or oppression. We command any evil spirit that is influencing this dear one to flee in the name of Jesus. We cancel any assignments of the enemy and we ask You, Lord, to surround this dear one with Your holy angels.
We must also address that you should not be attempting to communicate with or fight this spirit on your own, but you must rebuke it in the name of Jesus only. Also do not listen to the voice of the evil spirit. Rebuke it immediately.
James 4:7 WEB Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
We encourage you to fill your mind with the Word of God. Memorize and recite scriptures that reinforce your authority in Christ. Surround yourself with worship music and the Word of God. Seek fellowship with strong believers in Jesus Christ.
Finally, if these issues continue, seek out help from your pastor or a trusted Christian counselor. Do not face this alone. We continue to stand with you in prayer.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus.
