Police Concours Documents

Droeview

Disciple of Prayer
Good morning man of God, my fiance traveled yesterday to deposit the concours documents today. Lord I bring him and those documents be for you, you gave us the strength to provide all the necessary documents for this concours with all the trials and temptations you still make it possible for us to complete with the documents. We are so much grateful for that, God this was his mother his late mother wish from onset and he want to make his life better so he can provide for his family. God grant him success in every step of the process right up to the end of every thing concerning this concours in name of our Lord Jesus Christ Amen 🙏

We hear your heartfelt prayer and join you in lifting up your fiancé and this important step in his life. It is wonderful to see your gratitude for God’s provision and strength in gathering the necessary documents despite trials and temptations. We recognize the deep significance of this concours, not only for his career but also as a fulfillment of his late mother’s wishes and a means to provide for his family.

First, we must address the nature of your relationship. You mention your fiancé, which implies a commitment to marriage. However, we must gently remind you both that if you are currently living together or engaging in physical intimacy outside of marriage, this is not aligned with God’s design. Scripture is clear: "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). If this applies to your situation, we encourage you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, committing to purity until marriage. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, and it is the only context in which God blesses physical intimacy.

Now, let us pray together for your fiancé and this concours:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the strength and provision You have given to gather these documents, and we ask that You go before ### as he submits them. Lord, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17), and we trust in Your plan for his life. We pray that You would grant him favor in the eyes of those reviewing his application, that no detail would be overlooked, and that Your will would be done in this process.

Father, we ask that You would calm any anxiety or fear in his heart, reminding him that You are his refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We pray for protection over him, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, as he travels and completes this task. Guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let him feel Your presence with him every step of the way.

Lord, we also lift up his family to You. May this opportunity be a blessing to them, just as You have promised to provide for our needs (Matthew 6:33). We ask that You would continue to guide him in wisdom and discernment as he seeks to honor You in all he does. Let this concours be a testimony of Your faithfulness and goodness.

Finally, Father, we rebuke any spirit of doubt, delay, or distraction that may try to hinder this process. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your perfect timing. May Your name be glorified in every aspect of this journey.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you both to continue seeking the Lord in all things, trusting that He has a plan for your lives. If marriage is your intention, we urge you to pursue it with godly counsel, ensuring that your relationship honors Him in every way. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Keep pressing forward in faith, knowing that God is with you.

It is a beautiful thing to see you bring your fiancé and this whole process before the Lord with such gratitude and trust. You’ve already walked through trials and temptations to get these documents ready, and you saw God’s faithfulness in every single step. That itself is a huge gift, it shows he is not alone in this, and neither are you.

We join you in asking for success at every stage of the concours. But as we do, we also hold this quietly and honestly before God: your fiancé’s worth and his future as a provider are already held secure by the Lord, entirely apart from any exam result. The late mother’s wish was for his well-being and his ability to care for his own family, and that desire is known and honored by a tender Father. Whatever the outcome, God will continue to open doors and shape his life in ways that allow him to love and provide. That does not mean we pray less boldly, we pray with full hope, but we do so resting in the character of God more than in a specific outcome.

Today, as the documents are handed in, may he feel a deep steadiness. Remind him that he is not defined by this test, but by the love of Christ. And may you both continue to find strength in praying together, not just when things hang in the balance but in the ordinary days, too.

Jesus, thank you for carrying this family this far. Watch over these documents, every reviewer who handles them, and every step of the selection process. Give clear thought and calm to this man you love. Grant success as you see best, and let him feel your nearness whatever comes next. Provide for every need and make a way where there seems to be no way, for your glory and their good. Amen.

You do well to bring this matter before the throne of grace, for all our ways must be committed unto Him who orders our steps. Yet let me press this upon your heart: be watchful that the desire for temporal success does not eclipse the far weightier business of the soul. To provide for a family is a duty, and the wish of a departed mother touches the affections tenderly, but our Lord’s own word stands as a solemn measure, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." Does your betrothed pursue this calling with his whole heart, aiming to honor God should he prosper? Is it his meat to do the will of Him that sent him? A piece of bread earned in the fear of the Lord is better than a feast where Christ is absent.

That you have been enabled to gather the documents despite trials and temptations is a cause for gratitude, and it reveals the Lord’s hand already over the undertaking. But remember, success in the concours is not the highest mark of His favor; entrance into the ark of Christ is the one necessity. What comfort would it be if a man gained the appointment and lost his own soul? I would not have you vex yourselves with overmuch anxiety concerning the outcome, for our Heavenly Father pities His children and knows what is best for their eternal good. Entrust the papers, the process, and the young man himself into the hands of Him who woundeth and healeth, who shutteth and no man openeth.

Concerning the union you anticipate, see that Christ be the third cord in the marriage, for no family tie can endure the storm unless it be bound together in Him. Noah entered the ark, and his household with him, how grand a mercy when the head of a house brings all under his care into the covenant of grace! Let this be your grand ambition, not merely the uniform and the wage, but that your life together might display the family likeness of the children of God, led by His Spirit and abiding in His love. Who knows but that you are placed in each other’s lives for this very salvation purpose, to spur one another toward the prize of the high calling?

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have done well to bring this before the Lord, for He is the one who opens doors no man can shut. Yet understand that this success you seek is like the provision of which the Apostle speaks: it is right to make provision for the flesh, to seek a livelihood and care for one's family, but always for health and necessity, not for wantonness. The desire to honor his late mother and to provide for his future household is a sober and worthy aim.

But take care that this pursuit does not become a snare. The present life is a sleep, and the things in it are no way different from dreams. Riches gained in a dream melt away when the day breaks. So too, earthly success, if gained without the soul’s health, will be stripped away.

You pray for success, and rightly so, but remember that God often defers granting our requests in the very moment we ask. He does this not from unwillingness to give, but to contrive for us to persevere in prayer, to bind us closer to Himself. If the answer tarries, do not lose heart. Continue to knock. Let this waiting be a time not for anxiety, but for clinging more tightly to God. For wishing alone is not sufficient, but work must also be added. You have supplied the documents and done the labor. Now add the steady work of patient, trusting prayer, commending the whole matter, step by step, into His care.

I hear the weight in your words, the long preparation, the trials you’ve already faced just to gather what was needed, the deep desire to honor a mother’s wish and to build a stable future for a family. All of that matters. And the gratitude you’re already expressing, even before you know the outcome, is right. God alone gave the strength to complete this step, and that is not a small thing.

Yet as you press forward into the process itself, remember where real, lasting success comes from. It’s not ultimately found in a set of documents or a favorable panel. God’s own direction is clear: the one who meditates on His Word day and night, who does not turn from it, is the one who makes his way prosperous and has good success. That’s not a formula for controlling an outcome; it’s a description of a life built on the only foundation that holds. If this concours succeeds, it will be because His hand opened the door. If it doesn’t, His care for you and for your fiancé will not have failed.

And I want to speak plainly about the deeper matter here. A person can become so consumed by the drive for advancement and providing for a family that the desire itself begins to sit in a place only God should occupy. The obsession with success can quietly become a god. That’s why one of the wisest prayers a person can pray is, “Lord, never bless me beyond my capacity to maintain my love for You.” I would urge your fiancé, and you, to make that your own plea right now, ahead of any result.

There is also a promise woven through Scripture that deserves your attention: the scarlet cord hanging from Rahab’s window. Everyone who remained inside that house was spared. The safety was tied to staying in the place marked by the sign of blood. That’s a picture of what it means to abide in Christ, to stay under the covering of His sacrifice, not stepping out into self-reliance or the world’s anxiety. As this process unfolds, resist the pull to panic or to grasp. Rest inside the provision God has already made for your souls. Your ultimate security isn’t in a job, a salary, or even fulfilling a loved one’s dying wish. It’s in the Son of God who gave His life for you.

And if your own mother’s hope was for his life to be made better, the truest and most lasting way that happens is for him to belong to the family of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Blood family bonds are precious, but the bond within God’s household runs even deeper and lasts for eternity. I pray that beyond any professional success, both of you find your identity and your peace in that family. Without that, every other achievement will feel dry and moldy in the end, like provision that cannot sustain.

May the Lord grant clarity, favor according to His will, and a heart in both of you that wants His purposes more than any career milestone. Abide in Him. Let your courage come from the consciousness of His presence, not from the strength of your paperwork. And whatever is decided by men, walk forward knowing the only provision for your sins and your future is secure in Christ alone.
