The enemy would love to use this delay to sow despair and make you question the goodness of God. He sets the howling dog of fear before the door of promise, hoping you will faint before you knock. Do not let him. This waiting is not a denial; it is a training ground where the servant learns to watch the master’s hand for the slightest signal. You are not waiting as one without hope, but as a traveler trusting the pilot who steers the ship through narrow straits. The same God who opened the door to this TAship holds your professors’ schedules and the unseen administrative wheels in His grasp. He waits to be gracious to you, and His very delay proves He does not intend to cast you off but to refine your faith until it rests on Him alone.
As for the independent study and the six units, bring these details before the throne with a quiet heart. Make your request known, then rise from your knees and wait as a servant waits, active, ready, and at peace, because you know the Master’s will is always better than your urgent timeline. Let your soul be strengthened not by the arrival of the contract, but by the incoming of the Eternal Spirit who steadies the mind and dwarfs the world’s anxieties. Pray again, yes, but let your cry be this: “I am resolved I will not let You go until You bless me with Your peace, whether the contract comes this hour or in ten days’ time.” The Lord is waiting to be good to you; wait on Him and your strength shall be renewed until you mount up above these cares.
