We hear your heart’s cry for comfort, love, and blessing, and we lift you up before the throne of grace together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that He is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, this is the path to salvation (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, our prayers cannot reach the Father, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Heavenly Father, we come before You with this precious child who is reaching out for Your touch. Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one (Luke 15:4-6), and we know You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We ask You to take their hand, just as they have asked, and lead them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). Wrap Your loving arms around them, Father, for You are a refuge and a fortress in times of trouble (Psalm 91:2). Let them feel Your presence so deeply that all fear, loneliness, and doubt melt away in the warmth of Your love.
We pray for Your blessings to overflow in their life, Lord. Bless them with wisdom to walk in Your ways, strength to endure trials, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Bless them with godly relationships that sharpen and encourage them, and if it is Your will, prepare them for a marriage that honors You, a union between one man and one woman, built on Christ as the foundation (Ephesians 5:22-33). Guard their heart from the temptations of this world, including the sin of fornication, which Your Word warns against (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Help them to flee from sexual immorality and to honor You with their body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit.
Father, we also ask that You remember them in Your prayers, just as they have asked. You are the God who hears and answers, and we trust that You will move mightily on their behalf. Surround them with believers who will uplift them in prayer and stand with them in faith. Let them never feel forgotten, for You have promised never to leave nor forsake Your children (Hebrews 13:5).
Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin in their life, reveal it to them so they may repent and walk in the freedom of Your forgiveness (1 John 1:9). If there is bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness, soften their heart to release it to You, for Your Word commands us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). If they are struggling with doubt or unbelief, strengthen their faith, for You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, depression, or hopelessness that may be trying to take hold of them. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
Father, we thank You for this dear one who has reached out to You. May they grow in intimacy with You, drawing nearer each day. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may bear the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Let them be a light in this dark world, shining brightly for Your glory.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray all these things, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.
