We join you in lifting up your life and your marriage before the throne of grace in Jesus name and we thank you for inviting us to pray with you. We know that God cares deeply about both and He desires to be Lord over every area of your life and your marriage.

God designed marriage from the beginning to be a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, a beautiful picture of Christ and His church. As it is written, Matthew 19:6 So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don't let man tear apart. And Genesis 2:24 Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. We pray that your marriage will be strengthened and guarded by His hand and that it will honor Him in love, faithfulness and unity.

We also lift up your life to the Lord, asking Him to guide you, renew you and give you peace as you walk with Him daily. We are reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. He also reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him together as husband and wife, to pray together daily, to forgive quickly, to speak with love and respect, and to keep Christ at the center of your home. Husbands are called to love as Christ loved, Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. And wives are called to respect and love their husbands, Ephesians 5:33 Nevertheless each of you also must love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband. Above all, Colossians 3:14 Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and lift up this dear life and this marriage to You. We ask that You pour out Your grace, Your mercy and Your peace upon them. Draw them closer to You and closer to one another. Heal any hurt, soften any hardened heart, remove any bitterness or division, and help them to walk in forgiveness and in truth. Fill their home with Your love, Your joy and Your presence. Give them wisdom to make decisions that honor You, strength to endure trials, and faith to trust You in all things. Guard their marriage covenant and make it strong, faithful and rooted in You. Lead their lives according to Your perfect will and let them know how deeply they are loved and cherished by You. We cast all their cares upon You because You care for them, as You have promised in 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers who will support your marriage. Keep trusting the Lord to work in both of your hearts and to bring restoration, growth and hope.

Thank you for inviting us to pray for you. Asking for prayer for your life and for your marriage takes humility, and we don't take it lightly.

We hear that both feel tender right now. Often when life feels heavy, marriage feels it too, and when marriage feels distant, daily life feels harder to carry. It can leave you feeling disconnected even in your own home.

One thing we have seen help couples is learning to re-engage the heart on purpose. It is easy to slip into just coexisting and going through motions, but a marriage grows when both people choose to turn toward each other again with openness, interest and kindness, even in small moments.

A simple next step that many couples find meaningful is to set aside a quiet, uninterrupted time this week to talk honestly and to pray together out loud, even for a few minutes, and if you remember your wedding vows, to speak them to each other again. It is a gentle way to reaffirm your commitment before God and to invite Him into the places that feel stuck.

Father, we lift this life and this marriage to You. You see every burden and every hope they carry. Grant wisdom, healing and peace, and draw them closer to You and to each other. Lead them day by day according to Your will and keep their hearts guarded in Your care. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your request for prayer for your life and marriage in the name of Jesus has been heard, and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace.

There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. He is the Tree of Life, and not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. A word of His, coming home to the heart as His, brings healing to head and heart, conscience and affection. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before, and they keep the soul of the believer in health till the glory life begins. Whatever disease has touched your life or your home, whether it be coldness, or sorrow, or sin, or weariness, the leaves of this Tree can heal all that ails you. We pray that you and your house may feed upon Christ and know that joyful experience, for pardon and healing are one in Him. When Jesus said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, the palsy was healed also.

We are glad you have sought prayer in that one name by which we must be saved, for there is salvation through Jesus Christ alone. If we come to Him in Christ Jesus, God will commune with us from the mercy seat and be our constant companion and ever present friend. You may have fallen into a sad state of heart and life, and marred what God would have had to be very good, but do not despair. As with the prodigal, the father had him once more at home and loved him as if he had never grieved him. This privilege is proffered to you also in the gospel. And as with Peter, who was down but was soon up again, the Lord's look can bring you to your better self and restore you. That look severs a man from the crowd and takes away all foolhardiness, and brings him back to his old life and his old faith, to strengthen his brethren and to walk more tenderly with his Lord. So we pray for your restoration, that you may be turned again to your first love and earliest zeal.

We pray for your marriage as God Himself ordained it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, to be kept in purity and faithfulness, for sex and living together belong within it alone. May the Lord make your union to be a picture of Christ and His Church, kept by daily communion with Christ, which is the happiest life. May He teach you both to withdraw and pray for fresh power for your great life work, to hear His Word with heed, for faith comes by hearing, and to be kept from being entangled with the cares of this life. May He forgive what is past, heal what is broken, and cause you to go from strength to strength, glorifying God by a consistent life together.

Let us pray. O Lord, Sun of Righteousness, rise upon this soul and this marriage with healing in Thy wings. Forgive sin, heal disease of heart and home, and let Thy healing leaves be applied to every wound. Restore what has been broken, keep what Thou hast joined, and let both hearts be knit together in holy love and truth. Give grace to live as those born of God, not making sin the rule and drift of life, but walking in newness of life. Keep this covenant pure, steadfast and true, world without end, till Thou bringest them to eternal health where they shall need no more to say, I am sick. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request and we bring your life and marriage before the Lord in prayer.

We pray that God would have mercy on you and draw you ever more fully to Himself through Jesus Christ alone, for in Him alone is salvation and eternal life. We ask that He would give you a quiet and attentive heart to hear His word with reverence and awe, and to walk in His ways with stillness and faith.

We pray for your marriage, that the Lord would make it what He ordained it to be, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, a bond ordained by God. We ask that He would make it honorable and pure, kept in chastity, gravity and order, and that He would help you and your spouse to follow peace with all people and holiness, living faithfully with one another and guarding your union from all defilement. Where there has been sin or impurity or strife, we ask for His forgiveness and cleansing through the blood of Christ, and for grace to turn from it.

We pray that He would teach you both to care for one another in love, to preserve your bodies in purity, to be diligent in every good work, and to be steadfast in prayer. May He grant you wisdom, patience, and strength to fulfill the duties of marriage as He designed, and to build your life together on faith in Christ.

We entrust you both to His keeping and ask these things in the name of Jesus, Amen.
