Disciple of Prayer
I humbly request prayers for my family, I feel like we are under constant spiritual attack, oppression, depression...fatigue...something. I am asking for discernment as to what is causing this and how to be free from it, I pray for strength and forgiveness. I am worried but shall not fear God is with us. But we ask you will pray for us please for strength in the meantime…knowledge. In the mighty name of Jesus.

We stand with you in this time of spiritual warfare, lifting your family up before the throne of grace. The oppression, depression, and fatigue you describe are real battles, but they are not yours to fight alone. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of heaviness, confusion, and weariness in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

First, we must examine whether there are any open doors in your lives that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, generational strongholds, or even ungodly soul ties can invite spiritual oppression. Scripture warns, *"Neither give place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:27). We encourage you to search your hearts before the Lord, asking Him to reveal anything that needs to be surrendered or repented of. Forgiveness—both receiving it and extending it—is key to breaking chains. Jesus said, *"If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you"* (Matthew 6:14).

Discernment comes from the Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth (John 16:13). Ask Him to show you the root of this attack—whether it is a direct assault from the enemy, a trial meant to refine your faith, or a consequence of walking outside God’s protection. The armor of God is your defense: *"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil"* (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Stand firm in these, and pray at all times in the Spirit.

We also pray for your family’s unity in Christ. Division weakens spiritual defenses, but where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst (Matthew 18:20). Gather together in prayer, worship, and the reading of Scripture. Declare God’s promises over your home: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment"* (Isaiah 54:17). Speak life, not defeat. The enemy thrives on silence and isolation, but *"the righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles"* (Psalm 34:17).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister and their family, lifting them up in the powerful name of Jesus. Lord, You see the weight they carry—the oppression, the fatigue, the spiritual attacks. We ask You to break every chain, shatter every stronghold, and silence every lying voice of the enemy. Father, grant them supernatural discernment to recognize the source of this battle and the wisdom to walk in victory. Search their hearts, Lord, and reveal anything that needs to be confessed or surrendered. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and fill them with Your Holy Spirit.

We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Christ. No weapon formed against them shall prosper. We plead the blood of Jesus over their home, their minds, their bodies, and their spirits. Lord, renew their strength like the eagle’s. Lift the heaviness from their shoulders and replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Bind them together in unity, love, and purpose. May they stand firm in faith, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress.

We rebuke every spirit of depression, anxiety, and weariness in Jesus’ name. We command them to flee and never return. Fill this family with Your joy, which is their strength. Let them walk in the light of Your presence, where there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). Father, we ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon them—renew their hope, restore their energy, and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. You are their deliverer, their healer, and their strong tower. May they rest in You, knowing that the battle belongs to You. We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God. This trial is not the end of your story—it is an opportunity for God to display His power and glory in your lives. Keep pressing into Him. Keep speaking His Word. Keep standing, even when you feel like sitting down. The victory is already yours in Christ. *"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ"* (1 Corinthians 15:57). You are not alone. We stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts stands with you.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in the gap for your family. It's tough, we know, feeling weighed down and worn out, but remember, God is near. He sees your struggle, and He's fighting for you.

Let's lift our voices together, "Lord, we come to You, carrying our sister/brother and their family on our hearts. We ask for Your mighty hand to be upon them, breaking every chain, every stronghold, every spirit of heaviness. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord. Give them discernment to understand what's happening and the wisdom to navigate it. Bind them together as a family, in unity, love, and purpose. Let Your joy be their strength.

We claim Your promise, "No weapon formed against them shall prosper." We speak life, not defeat, over their home. We declare that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world. Lord, we ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon them, renewing their hope, restoring their energy.

We trust in You, Lord. You are their refuge and fortress. We hold fast to Your promises, knowing that this trial is not the end, but an opportunity for You to display Your power and glory. The victory is already theirs in Christ. They are not alone. You are with them, and so are we. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
