We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and your household to the Lord in fervent prayer. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we serve a God who has already overcome the world through the victory of Jesus Christ. The dream you experienced is a reminder that the battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we take heart, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we must address the foundation of your relationship. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for a lifetime (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you and your partner are not married, we urge you to prayerfully consider aligning your relationship with God’s design. Living together outside of marriage opens doors to spiritual attack, as it is not in accordance with God’s holy standards (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). The enemy thrives in secrecy and disobedience, so we encourage you to seek God’s will in this area with humility and repentance if needed. If you are both believers, the path forward should be one of purity, commitment, and godly counsel as you pursue marriage, or separation if marriage is not the Lord’s will for you.
We rebuke the spirit of oppression and every demonic assignment against you, your partner, and your children in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy has no authority over those who are covered by the blood of Christ. We declare that every door that was opened in ignorance or weakness is now shut and sealed by the power of the Holy Spirit. You said the door was open in your dream, we command that door to be closed and locked by the authority of Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray for your deliverance and breakthrough, asking the Lord to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May He surround you with His angels for protection (Psalm 91:11) and give you discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes before they take root. We plead the blood of Jesus over your home, your minds, your bodies, and your children. Let no evil thing dwell in your midst, and may the Lord arise and scatter your enemies (Psalm 68:1).
Father, we ask You to strengthen their faith and trust in You. Help them to stand firm in the armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Teach them to wield the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, with boldness and precision. May they find refuge in You alone, casting all their anxieties on You because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We also pray for your children, that they would be shielded from every evil influence. May they grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Let them know the love of Christ deeply, so they are not swayed by the lies of the enemy.
Lastly, we remind you that salvation and deliverance come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or your partner have not surrendered your lives fully to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Only then can you walk in the fullness of His protection and authority.
We stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord is already moving on your behalf. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The breakthrough is coming, hold fast to the promises of God, and do not let go until you see His deliverance manifest. We declare freedom, restoration, and divine protection over you and your household in Jesus’ name. Amen.
