Disciple of Prayer
My partner ### and I have been under spiritual warfar and demonic oppression for some time but just when things seemed to have been getting better I had what I believe was an attack from the enemy in my dream. Someone I had problems with in the past was outside ### and I told them the door was open so I'm regretful that I wasn't sharp in my dream state and didn't use discernment on the enemy's tactics. We just need prayer for our deliverance and breakthroughs to come our way. I also ask for prayer for protection of ### and children as well, thank you in advance ❤️

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and your household to the Lord in fervent prayer. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we serve a God who has already overcome the world through the victory of Jesus Christ. The dream you experienced is a reminder that the battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we take heart, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

First, we must address the foundation of your relationship. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for a lifetime (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you and your partner are not married, we urge you to prayerfully consider aligning your relationship with God’s design. Living together outside of marriage opens doors to spiritual attack, as it is not in accordance with God’s holy standards (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). The enemy thrives in secrecy and disobedience, so we encourage you to seek God’s will in this area with humility and repentance if needed. If you are both believers, the path forward should be one of purity, commitment, and godly counsel as you pursue marriage, or separation if marriage is not the Lord’s will for you.

We rebuke the spirit of oppression and every demonic assignment against you, your partner, and your children in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy has no authority over those who are covered by the blood of Christ. We declare that every door that was opened in ignorance or weakness is now shut and sealed by the power of the Holy Spirit. You said the door was open in your dream, we command that door to be closed and locked by the authority of Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We pray for your deliverance and breakthrough, asking the Lord to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May He surround you with His angels for protection (Psalm 91:11) and give you discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes before they take root. We plead the blood of Jesus over your home, your minds, your bodies, and your children. Let no evil thing dwell in your midst, and may the Lord arise and scatter your enemies (Psalm 68:1).

Father, we ask You to strengthen their faith and trust in You. Help them to stand firm in the armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Teach them to wield the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, with boldness and precision. May they find refuge in You alone, casting all their anxieties on You because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

We also pray for your children, that they would be shielded from every evil influence. May they grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Let them know the love of Christ deeply, so they are not swayed by the lies of the enemy.

Lastly, we remind you that salvation and deliverance come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or your partner have not surrendered your lives fully to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Only then can you walk in the fullness of His protection and authority.

We stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord is already moving on your behalf. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The breakthrough is coming, hold fast to the promises of God, and do not let go until you see His deliverance manifest. We declare freedom, restoration, and divine protection over you and your household in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We hear how unsettling that dream was, and how discouraging it feels to think you fell for a tactic you try so hard to watch for. When someone has been under spiritual attack for a long while, even small moments in sleep can feel huge. But the regret you’re carrying isn’t the final word. Christ’s hold on you is far stronger than any mistake made in a dream state, where your full will and discernment weren’t even awake. He doesn’t let go of you that easily, and He doesn’t revoke His protection because you weren’t “sharp” in your sleep. The enemy loves to magnify what we regret, but Jesus has already disarmed every power that comes against you (Colossians 2:15). You’re not starting over; you’re still on the path of breakthrough, and a stumble in a dream does not cancel what God is doing.

A practical next step that might help: since you’ve sensed ongoing oppression, consider inviting a trusted pastor or a mature prayer team to walk with you through focused, Scripture-grounded deliverance prayer. When the weight has been heavy enough to reach into your dreams, it’s wise not to carry it alone. Having a small group of believers who will listen, pray, help you renounce any ground the enemy is using, and commission Christ’s authority over what’s been troubling you can bring deep relief. If you don’t know where to turn, your church leaders can likely connect you with someone experienced in this kind of ministry.

We’re standing with you for that breakthrough, and for a shield of protection over your partner and the children.

Lord Jesus, we ask for freedom and peace for this family. Silence the voice of accusation and regret. Send mature allies to pray with them, and cover their home, their minds, and even their sleep with Your presence. We pray Your deliverance would be real and lasting, in Your strong name. Amen.

I know that cold shudder you feel when you have waked from a dream and found that in your sleep you did the very thing you would never have done awake, and spoke a word you would give anything to call back. It feels like a door you left unbolted in your sleep, and you wonder what may have slipped in. But take heart, the dream is not the deed. The enemy is a master of shadow-play, and he loves to trouble a tender conscience with a midnight theatre of regret. But what came of it? You woke, you discerned it now, and you are running to the Stronghold. That is not defeat; that is a child waking from a nightmare and crying out for the Father’s light.

You speak of the attack and your regret, that is precisely the sharpest arrow in the quiver of the evil one. He would have you brood on your unwariness until you begin to murmur, “God has surely given me over to my own foolishness.” Not so! One moment of honest confession outweighs a thousand night-terrors. Your Savior did not redeem you in the light only to abandon you in the dark watches. He who kept you from finally falling when you knew what you were doing, will He not also cover the follies of your sleeping head? The Shepherd does not strike His sheep for stumbling in the dark.

Think of the poor captives in Giant Despair’s castle, locked so long in the gloom. You remember that the key was not found by some great feat of their own, but it was there all along, called Promise, and when they turned it, the lock gave way, and even Despair could not hold them when the dawn broke. Your dream may have felt like a dungeon, but the key is still in your hand: “He has delivered us from the power of darkness.” Not “will deliver” if we are perfectly sharp, but “has delivered”, the work is done, and what remains is the waking up to what is already true.

I hear you longing for a breakthrough, and well you may. But notice how the Lord often delivers His people. He did not simply whisk Pharaoh away while Israel sat idle; He took hold of Moses’ rod. When Joash was told to shoot the arrow of the Lord’s deliverance, the prophet put his hands upon the king’s hands, and the arrow flew, not by the king’s skill, but by a power that used a trembling bowman. So your little prayers, your weary crying out, are taken up by those mighty hands. The arrow will fly, and the enemy’s hold will be broken, because it is the Lord’s deliverance, not yours. You are not asked to be a perfect warrior; you are asked to be the bow in a faithful Archer’s hands.

And your dear ones, your partner and the children, are they not tucked under the same wings? The same Blood that shields you is a covering for your household. The Lord knows how to make a difference between His own and the world, even when the night seems thick. Trust the wells of comfort that are always full. Open the blessed Book; let a promise drop like cool water on your fevered thoughts. One promise taken into the soul is a whole fountain of life when the desert presses in.

Let that dream go, and with it the regret. You did not fall; you only dreamed you stumbled. The morning has come, and your Lord meets you with no frown, but with the old words: “I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not.” Now stand still and see what He will do.

Lord Jesus, we bless Thee that the darkness is not dark to Thee, and the watches of the night are watched by Thy unsleeping eye. Take this dear soul and the beloved ones beside them, and be their hiding-place. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and turn even the memory of this trouble into a song of deliverance. Give them the peace that outruns all understanding, and make them to know that Thou hast loosed their chains. For Thy name’s sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer for deliverance and protection. It is our heart’s desire to join you in spiritual warfare, lifting up your household before the throne of grace. We have continued to pray fervently for your partner and you, asking the Lord to break every chain of oppression, to expose and dismantle the enemy’s tactics, and to surround you both with His holy angels for divine protection. We have also interceded for your children, pleading the blood of Jesus over them and asking for a hedge of safety to guard their hearts, minds, and spirits.

If the Lord has moved mightily in your situation—if you’ve experienced breakthrough, peace, or a tangible shift in the spiritual atmosphere—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report. Your testimony could be a source of strength and encouragement to others walking through similar battles. On the other hand, if the struggle persists or if new challenges have arisen, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you in persistent prayer until you see the full manifestation of God’s victory in your lives.

May the Lord continue to strengthen your faith, sharpen your spiritual discernment, and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that every door the enemy has tried to exploit would be sealed shut by the power of Jesus’ name, and that every stronghold would crumble under the authority of His Word. May His light drive out every shadow of darkness, and may His presence be your refuge and fortress. We declare freedom, restoration, and divine protection over your family, and we do so in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
