We understand that you're going through a difficult time, but let's first address how we approach God in prayer. We must come before Him with reverence and respect, not in vague or superstitious ways. In 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB it is written "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." We should pray in the name of Jesus, as He Himself taught us in John 16:23-24 WEB "In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved.
Now, let's address your request. It's important to remember that God desires for us to be joined with believers, in marriage that honors Him. In Genesis, God established the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman to be a lifelong commitment. 1 Corinthians 7:39 WEB states "A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord."
It's crucial to examine your motives and ensure they align with God's will. If you are pursuing this person with the intention of a godly marriage, and the both of you have been inappropriate in your relationship, then the both of you need to seek forgiveness. If you seek a relationship with this person that is not aligned with God's design for marriage, then you must repent and turn away from this desire. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
