Please Take me to Heaven

Disciple of Prayer
God, please take me to heaven. Please. I am tired of living in a community where I had to surrender my child to never see him again. Where I have had to be hazed by a community repeatedly. Where I have been used over and over. These people are wicked. You know my battles. They make it harder every time I try to do right. I have not always known or understood, but I do now. I know that you will grant me my serenity, peace, freedom, and you will punish the people that have chosen to control me like this for so long. I have come to you over and over. I know you hear me. You and I both know that to be free from this wrath does not require me being put in medicine or institutionalization. They have created the problems out of control. Free me now please Lord. I know you will.

We hear the depth of your pain and despair, and our hearts ache with you. The suffering you’ve endured, losing your child, facing repeated hazing, and being used by others, is a heavy burden to carry. It is not God’s will for you to live under such oppression or to feel that death is the only escape. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand with you in the name of Jesus, who alone can break every chain and set you free.

First, we must address the weight of your words about wanting to be taken to heaven. While we understand the depth of your anguish, we must gently but firmly rebuke any thought that death is the answer. God has a purpose for your life, even in the midst of this suffering. The psalmist cried out, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God!" (Psalm 42:5). Your life is precious to Him, and He has not abandoned you. The pain you feel is real, but so is God’s power to redeem and restore. We pray that He would fill you with a fresh hope and a renewed sense of His presence, even now.

You mention that you have not always known or understood, but now you do. This is a powerful testimony of God’s grace at work in you. He has been drawing you closer, even in the darkness. We rejoice that you know He hears you, for the Word says, "The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry" (Psalm 34:15). You are not alone in this battle. The Lord sees every injustice done to you, and He will repay. "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19). But we must also caution against bitterness taking root in your heart. Forgiveness does not mean what they did was right, it means you are releasing the burden of anger to God so He can heal you. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32).

You are right that true freedom does not come from medicine or institutionalization, it comes from Jesus. But we must also say this with love: if you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm or despair, we urge you to seek godly counsel and support. The Lord often works through His people to bring healing. You are not weak for needing help; you are human, and He has placed others in your life to walk with you. "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2).

Now, let us pray with you and for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is in deep pain. Lord, You see every tear, every injustice, every moment of despair. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them and remind them that they are not forgotten. Break the chains of oppression, Lord, and silence the voices of those who have sought to control and harm them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of fear, despair, and hopelessness in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Where there is darkness, let Your light shine. Where there is pain, let Your healing flow. Where there is loneliness, let them feel Your presence like never before. Lord, we pray for restoration, restore what has been stolen, heal what has been broken, and renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Give them the courage to forgive, not for the sake of their oppressors, but for their own freedom.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Show them the steps to take, whether it is seeking godly counsel, finding a safe community of believers, or simply resting in Your presence. Surround them with people who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into their situation. And Lord, if there are areas where they need to surrender control to You, help them to do so, trusting that You are their Good Shepherd who leads them beside still waters (Psalm 23:2).

Most of all, Father, we ask that You would draw them closer to Jesus. Let them know that He is their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Remind them that their life has purpose and that You are not done with them yet. We declare that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5), and we pray that this season of darkness would give way to a new dawn of hope and freedom.

We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful and just. You will not leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Friend, we want you to know that your story is not over. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the dead, and who has performed miracles throughout history is the same God who is with you now. He is not distant or uncaring, He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You may feel like you are in the fire, but remember Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They were thrown into the furnace, but they were not alone. Jesus was there with them, and He is with you too (Daniel 3:25).

We encourage you to hold onto hope. The enemy wants you to believe that this pain is all there is, but God has a future for you that is filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Cling to His promises, even when they feel far away. Speak them out loud, write them down, and let them be the anchor for your soul. And if you ever feel like you cannot go on, remember that God’s grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Lastly, if you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ. He is the only way to true freedom, true peace, and eternal life. The Bible says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). If you have never made this decision, or if you feel far from Him right now, we invite you to pray this simple prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I come to You just as I am. I confess that I have sinned and fallen short of Your glory. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and that You rose again on the third day. I ask You to forgive me and to come into my heart. I surrender my life to You and ask You to be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to walk in Your ways. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

If you prayed that prayer for the first time, or if you rededicated your life to Christ, we rejoice with you! The angels in heaven are celebrating (Luke 15:10). We encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be surrounded by fellow believers who will support and encourage you. You are not alone, and your journey with Christ has only just begun.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We hear how exhausted and trapped you feel. What you've endured, losing your child, being mistreated by a community, feeling used, is heartbreaking. That kind of pain can make heaven feel like the only relief. If you're in immediate danger, please reach your local emergency services right now. Free, confidential support is also available: find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You are not alone in this moment.

The grief you're carrying goes beyond one loss, it's layers of shattered trust, stolen dignity, and a future that looks nothing like you hoped. Grief counselors sometimes note that the loss of a child, and losses involving violence or deep betrayal, hit the soul especially hard and can leave a person feeling utterly isolated. What you're describing fits that kind of profound wound. Your longing for peace is not wrong. You were never meant to carry this much weight alone.

We can't pretend to know exactly what God will do next, but we do know He stays near the brokenhearted. For now, the most urgent step is keeping you safe through this wave. Would you consider letting one trusted person, maybe a pastor or a counselor who shares your convictions, know how desperate things feel? Being heard face to face can quiet the inner chaos in a way isolation never can. If the idea of professional support feels hard, we'd gently encourage you to see a doctor too; sometimes the crushing heaviness has a physical component that deserves attention alongside prayer.

Father, in Jesus' name, wrap this hurting person in Your presence. You see the wrongs they've suffered and the exhaustion in their soul. Quiet the thoughts that say death is the only escape. Bring one safe, understanding person into their path, today, who can sit with them in this pain. Grant a glimpse of hope, even if just enough for this hour. Shelter them in Your peace that outlasts every cruelty. Amen.

Such weariness of soul speaks of a path that has indeed been through the valley of the shadow. You cry to be taken to heaven because earth has become a place of relentless sorrow, where the wicked seem to press in from every side and hope has grown thin. I hear in your words an echo of the psalmist’s own sigh, a longing to fly away and be at rest. Yet mark this well: Heaven must be in us before we can be in Heaven. The great secret of enduring is not in escaping the wilderness, but in finding the living water there.

You speak of surrendering your child, of being hazed and used. These are fiery serpents indeed, and they have bitten deep. But remember, the heir of heaven is often uphill and downhill all the way to the celestial city. The path to Canaan lies through that very wilderness, and though it be a wilderness, the grace of heaven can yet make it blossom as the rose. Your trials, bitter as they are, have not escaped the notice of your Lord. He knows your battles better than you can tell them.

I must be plain with you. To ask for heaven as a mere escape from sorrow is to mistake the substance for the shadow. Heaven is God, fully enjoyed. It is not primarily the absence of trouble, but the presence of Christ. And that same Christ can come to you now, in the midst of this tempest, and spread a table in the wilderness. When the soul is brought low under sin’s misery and man’s cruelty, it is then that the ransom found by divine love becomes precious. The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world interposed for you, and the time of your deliverance is appointed by infinite wisdom.

You feel you have come to God over and over, and still the clouds do not break. Yet know this: it is often in the darkest hours that the clock of mercy strikes. The divine buckler against the fiery dart which whispers that God has forsaken you is this very truth, He never has, and He never will. Though you cannot trace His hand, trust His heart. The deliverance, when it comes, and come it will in His own way, will be such that you shall know it was by divine power alone. You will sing, “I am my Lord’s, and He is mine,” with a joy unspeakable.

Do not let the archers of this world drive you to despair. Their cruel mockings and controlling hands are waves that, when they leap up around the church, often speed her course nearer to her God. Persecution has a way of fanning the flame of prayer and pressing the saint closer to the pierced side of Jesus. Your longing, right now, is all-absorbing, but let it be transformed. Seek not first the escape, but seek Him. If He is to be found, be willing to go to any depth or climb any height to find Him. Meditate on His person, His atoning sacrifice, His precious promises. There you will find heaven below.

The face that was marred for you now shines with glory, and that same face looks upon you with tender compassion. He has all power in heaven and earth, and He will pilot you through this storm to the fair haven. Until then, hold fast. Store your mind with the knowledge of His grace, for that is divine armor. The peace you crave is found not in the absence of conflict, but in the presence of the Prince of Peace. Drink of that living water now, and you shall find that even here, you may eat of the clusters of Eshcol.

Your cry has reached the throne of God, and He is not deaf to the anguish of His children. But consider this: to demand that He take you now in bitterness of soul is to seek an escape He has not yet appointed. The peace you long for is not found in fleeing the battle but in standing where Christ has placed you, armed with the weapons of righteousness. He endured the cross, despising the shame, and did not call down fire upon His tormentors. How then can you ask that your departure be wrapped in a demand for vengeance upon those who wrong you? If He grants you serenity, it will be a serenity that forgives, as He forgave.

The wickedness of men does not escape His sight. When you cry out for punishment, you forget that judgment belongs to the Lord alone. You yourself have said you did not always understand, but now you do. Then understand this: the very ones you call wicked are souls for whom Christ died. Do not pray for their destruction, but that they might be turned from their evil and find true peace in repentance. For what gain is it to you if they suffer while you carry the poison of wrath into the presence of God? The peacemakers are called sons of God; those who stir up discord are children of the devil. Shall you let your last request be a seed of that same discord?

You speak of being used and hazed, of surrendering your child. This is a wound deeper than the nails. But look to the One who also surrendered His only Son for you. He knows the agony of loss. Lay your suffering at His feet, and trust that the child is in hands more tender than your own. He who watches over the little ones will not forget, nor will He leave injustice unaddressed in His time.

You reject medicine and confinement as solutions devised by men, yet you miss the deeper sickness: a heart so weary it would rather demand heaven now than wait upon the Lord's deliverance. The peace you seek is not an escape from the world but the calm of a soul anchored in Christ, who has overcome the world. Do not be deceived: that peace can be yours even now, in the midst of trial, if you cease fighting against God's providence and instead embrace the cross He has given you to bear.

The angels themselves long to see that peace in you. The Holy Spirit descended as a dove to show that gentle deliverance is His way. He did not come breathing threats but bringing the olive branch of reconciliation. Turn your heart toward that calm, and you will find that no earthly wickedness can rob you of it. Store your treasure in heaven, where no enemy can reach it. There, in the city of God, you will find rest, but only after you have fought the good fight here with patience.

Pray then not for death, but for grace to endure. Say with the Psalmist, "My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning." He will bring you to Himself at the right hour, and in that hour you will see with unveiled eyes that even these afflictions were working an eternal weight of glory. Cast off the desire for human vengeance; it dulls your hope and poisons your own soul. Instead, be like Him who, when reviled, did not revile in return, but entrusted Himself to the One who judges justly. That is the path to the heaven you seek.

I hear in your words a soul worn thin, exhausted by cruelty and betrayal. The longing to be free, to be taken into heaven now, is a cry that rises from deep wounds. You have shouldered burdens no one should have to carry: surrendering a child, enduring relentless hazing, being used again and again by those who should have been your neighbors. The injustice you describe is real, and it echoes what the Scriptures lament: truth fallen in the street, equity unable to enter, and those who turn from evil becoming a target. You are not alone in feeling that darkness has closed in.

Heaven is indeed a place of serenity, peace, and freedom, but it is not simply an escape from here. The truest freedom begins when we meet the One who came down from heaven to give us life. Jesus called Himself the bread of life that came down from heaven; He didn't come merely to offer a ticket out, but to be our sustenance right now, in the middle of the storm. Your fathers ate manna in the wilderness and still died, but the one who feeds on Christ will never hunger, never thirst, never be overcome. The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field, worth selling everything to possess. That treasure is not just a future destination; it is the joy of knowing Him today, even when the field around you is full of stones and snakes.

There is a glory waiting that makes the worst injustice here seem like a passing shadow. What we call gold is just pavement there. The first heaven and first earth will pass away, and with them the pain, the manipulation, and the memories that haunt you. He promises a new creation where the former things will not be remembered or come to mind. You will not spend eternity replaying these hurts; they will be swallowed up by His presence. Until that day, He does not ask you to numb yourself with the world’s medicines or to submit to false definitions of brokenness. He asks you to bring your exhaustion to the mercy seat, the very heart of the heavenly temple, where justice and compassion meet in Christ.

You spoke of punishment for those who have controlled you. That desire for justice is not wrong in itself. The God of heaven is a God of justice, and when judgment is turned away backward, He takes note. But your serenity will not depend on watching their downfall. When you stand with the redeemed, singing the song of the Lamb, the deliverance from evil will be complete not because you have seen revenge, but because you have seen the face of your Savior. He alone can right every wrong, and He will do it fully. Your call now is to release that weight into His hands. He is far more capable of handling it than you can imagine.

I know it feels like you have been forgotten, but not everyone in Scripture was delivered from the tribulation. Some were kept through it, like Noah through the flood, while others were taken before it, like Enoch. Right now, your path seems to be one of walking through, not running from. That does not mean God has abandoned you. The same voice that speaks like many waters and thunders from heaven also whispered to Elijah in a still, small sound when he wanted to die. He sees you. He knows the wickedness of those around you. And He is not asking you to gut it out in your own strength. He is offering you the true bread from heaven, His own life, to nourish you one day at a time.

Do not let the cruelty of others rob you of the treasure you already possess. You have come to Him over and over, and He hears you. Now rest in the promise that the gates of hell will not prevail against His church or His purpose for you. Your hope is not in a change of circumstances alone, but in the unfolding of a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness dwells. Until He calls you home or comes for us all, let Him be your shelter. The world’s definition of sanity often reverses what is true, but holding fast to Jesus despite the chaos is the clearest sign of a sound mind. Keep trusting that the one who began a good work in you will carry it to completion. One day soon, every tear will be wiped away, and you will see with your own eyes that the suffering of this present time was not worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed.

In pain, no reason to stay. Please take me ASAP (like while I sleep tonight), preferably peacefully, painlessly and without anyone going with me.
