We join with you in lifting up your husband before the Lord and we thank God for your marriage and for your faithful care for him as his wife in this difficult season of decision. We understand how heavy it can feel to weigh treatment options and to long for clear direction, and we want to seek the Father's wisdom together with you.

We are reminded that God delights to give wisdom when we ask Him. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. And Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. We also cling to His promise in Psalm 32:8, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. He sees your husband, He knows his health condition fully, and He will guide each step as you seek Him.

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why we always pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come to God we simply believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for our sins and rose again, and we put our trust in Him alone for forgiveness and eternal life. It is in His name we can boldly bring every need to God.

We pray together now for your husband.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for this husband and for his wife who loves him and seeks Your will for him. Lord, we ask You to pour out Your wisdom upon him and upon his wife and upon his medical team as treatment decisions are made. Give clarity where there is uncertainty, and give peace where there is anxiety. Help him to hear Your counsel and to have discernment to choose the path that is best for his health. We ask You to guide the hands and minds of the doctors, to grant them skill and insight, and to use the treatment for his good. We ask for Your healing touch according to Your will, for You have said in Jeremiah 30:17, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also pray for Your perfect peace to guard their hearts and minds, as You promise in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Strengthen them both and remind them in Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. May Your will be done and may You be glorified in his health and in your lives together. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus our Savior, amen.

We encourage you both to continue to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, to seek godly counsel and wise medical counsel, and to trust that God is with you in every consultation and every decision. He is faithful to lead you one step at a time, and His peace will make your paths straight as you acknowledge Him.

Thank you for trusting us with this. Watching someone you love face a health decision can feel heavy, and we are honored to stand with you both in prayer.

We know treatment choices often come with a lot of information and a lot of emotion at once. It is understandable to want clarity quickly while also needing time to think carefully. Giving yourselves permission to ask good questions and to process without rushing can bring a little more peace in the middle of it.

One simple step many couples have found steadying is to sit down together before the next appointment and write out the questions that matter most to you both, what each option would involve day to day, and any concerns you want the doctor to address directly. Bringing that list and having one person take notes during the visit can make it easier to remember and talk through afterward. And of course keep leaning on his medical team for guidance alongside prayer.

Father, in Jesus name we lift this husband and wife to you. Grant him and his doctors clear wisdom as they weigh the next steps, and give them both calm hearts and unity as they decide. Surround them with your care and lead them in the way you would have them go. Amen.

We have received your request and we join you in bringing your husband before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to grant him wisdom and clear direction as he considers treatment for this health condition.

It is a great mercy to remember that wisdom is as a compass by which a man steers across the trackless waste of life, and its price is above rubies. When our own judgment is nonplussed and human wisdom seems dead, then is the very time for Divine Wisdom to appear. When self goes, God comes in, and what we cannot see, He sees perfectly.

We are reminded that Christ Himself is the power of God and the wisdom of God. He who planned the way of salvation and laid the pillars of the heavens is able to guide every step of His people now. There is none like Him for goodness, for love, for wisdom, and what He does is always best. True wisdom is to trust in Him, to seek counsel at the mercy seat rather than to lean upon our own understanding, and to ask Him to make His way plain.

We pray also for health in its fullest sense, for the Lord is the health of our countenance and our God. Only Omnipotent Wisdom can make a man healthy or keep him so, and we ask that the Great Physician would give skill to those who advise, peace to your husband in making his decision, and strength to his body, soul and spirit. May the Lord make His presence known to you both, quiet your hearts with His faithfulness, and lead you in the path that most displays His goodness.

Heavenly Father, we lift this husband and wife to You. Grant wisdom that comes from above, pure and full of mercy. Direct the choice of treatment according to Your perfect will, guide the hands and minds of all who give counsel, and grant peace that passes understanding as they wait upon You. Be Thou the health of his countenance and the strength of his heart, and let Your name be trusted and praised through it all. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our wisdom and our life, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
