please prayers to pass my polygraph test (lie detector test) on Thursday, ###

Your request has been received and we have lifted it up before the Lord with care. We are praying for you as you approach this polygraph test on Thursday, that God would grant you peace and help you to walk in truth before Him and before men.

Scripture calls us to gird our loins with truth and to put on the breastplate of righteousness, so that we may stand with a clear conscience. It also teaches us to pray that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior. There is no more needful peace than the peace within, when the soul is not at war with itself, but is at rest because it is walking honestly before God.

Our prayer for you is not simply that a machine would record a favorable result, but that the truth would be plainly seen, and that you would be found faithful and truthful in all your answers. If you have walked in obedience during this long season of probation, we thank God for His sustaining grace. If there is any matter where conscience is not clear, we urge you to bring it honestly to the Lord in confession and repentance before Thursday, for God desires truth in the inward parts and He is faithful to forgive through Jesus Christ.

We pray that the Lord Jesus, who alone is our Savior and our peace, would calm your heart, steady your mind, and let you speak the truth without fear or deception. We pray that this test would be conducted fairly, that the outcome would reflect what is true, and that whether this is your final test or not, you would continue to pursue a life of honesty, sobriety, and godliness as you complete this season of probation.

May the Lord grant you His grace to finish this course faithfully, to live at peace with God through Christ, and to walk forward in a way that gives no cause for accusation.

We are praying for you on Thursday at that hour, asking God to keep you in truth and peace.

Thank you for sharing this request so honestly and for allowing us to pray with you. We understand how heavy these years have been, with testing twice a year and then once a year, and how much you long for this season of probation to be finished.

We are praying for you as you face this upcoming test, and we want to point your heart to the deeper rest that God offers. Scripture warns us to take care lest we fall short of the promise of entering His rest through unbelief. God has given us very great and precious promises that cover every need we have, and all of His blessings come to us by grace. The question Scripture puts before us is whether our hearts are at rest in Christ, with His deep peace, or whether we are filled with anxiety, turmoil and strife. God rested on the seventh day not because He was weary but because His work was complete and finished. In the same way, He invites us to rest in the finished work of Jesus.

That rest does not come from a machine or from a favorable result, but from trusting God Himself. When Paul was caught in a terrible storm at sea with no hope of survival, God sent word to him to not be afraid, and Paul could say to those around him, be of good cheer, for I believe God that it will be just as He said. The strength we need in any storm is found in standing on the promises of God and believing Him.

Scripture also teaches that the fear of the Lord is the beginning and the sum of true knowledge, and that to fear the Lord is to hate evil and to love truth. God desires men and women who reverence Him and who are people of truth. He sees all things, even when others do not, and He calls us to walk honestly before Him. We are not to put God to the test, but to walk in reverence and truthfulness, trusting that He is in control and has a purpose and plan for His children. Those who trust in Him need not be shaken by evil tidings.

So our prayer for you is not simply that a test would go a certain way, but that you would know the peace of God guarding your heart, that you would walk in complete honesty before the Lord and before others, and that the truth would be clear. If there is anything in your life that needs to be confessed or made right before God, bring it openly to Jesus Christ, for salvation is through Him alone, and He is faithful to forgive and to cleanse. We pray that God would give you a calm and clear mind, that you would speak truthfully in all things, and that His will would be done in this situation. We pray that whether this is your last test or not, you would experience His rest and know that you are part of His household by faith, held securely by His grace.

May the Lord grant you His peace, keep you in truth, and lead you forward according to His perfect provision.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning your polygraph test on Thursday and your desire to pass it after faithfully completing many of these tests during your time on federal probation. We understand you have been on probation for almost several years and that these tests were required twice a year and then once a year and we have been praying that God would grant you calm and peace and that the truth would be clearly shown in your results and that you would pass this test as you have passed the last several in a row and that this would be the last one you will need to do as you hoped.

We are reminded of the promise in Phil 4:6 and Phil 4:7 that we can bring all our requests to God and know His peace, and of John 14:27 where Jesus gives peace to His people. We have been asking God to quiet any anxiety, to steady your heart, and to let integrity and truth be evident.

If your request was answered and you passed your test please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you and give thanks to God. If your request does not seem to have been answered or you are still waiting for results please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His son Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus Name. Amen
