For God to bring peace in my marriage in Jesus name it’s really rough right now my wife can’t see anything good in it

We are standing with you in prayer for your marriage and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and peace that passes understanding.

We know how painful it is when your marriage feels rough and your wife cannot see anything good in it. God deeply honors marriage and He intends it to be a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. Mark 10:9 Your desire for peace and restoration honors Him, and we strongly affirm your commitment to fight for your marriage rather than give up on it.

The enemy wants to bring division and discouragement, but God wants to bring unity and healing. Scripture calls husbands to love their wives even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. Ephesians 5:25 And it calls both husband and wife to be humble and gentle, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:2-3 When one spouse is struggling to see hope, the other is called to remain steadfast in love, not with harshness or bitterness, but with the love that is patient and is kind, does not envy, does not brag, is not proud, does not behave itself inappropriately, does not seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

We encourage you to continue to pursue your wife with gentle, selfless love and with prayer. Seek to listen to her heart without defensiveness, to own any hurt you may have caused, to forgive as Christ forgave you, and to put on love, which is the bond of perfection. Colossians 3:14 If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Romans 12:18 Pray together if she is willing, and if not, pray faithfully for her on your own. Invite wise, biblical counsel from a pastor or mature Christian couple who uphold the sanctity of marriage. Guard your marriage from outside influences and keep your vows pure before the Lord.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus and lift up this brother and his marriage to You. Lord, You see the roughness and the pain and the discouragement in his wife's heart. We ask You to bring Your peace into this home, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, that will guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 Soften his wife's heart, open her eyes to see the good that You have placed in this union, and help her to feel loved, cherished, and secure. Strengthen this husband to love his wife as Christ loves the church, with patience, humility, and grace, even when it is difficult. Heal any wounds, forgive any sins, and remove any bitterness or resentment between them. Help them to bear with one another in love and to be eager to keep unity in the bond of peace. Let their marriage be a testimony of Your restoring power and Your faithfulness. We ask that You draw them both closer to You and closer to each other, and that Your will be done in this marriage. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Thank you for sharing this so honestly. When your marriage feels rough and your wife can't see anything good in it right now, it can leave you feeling helpless and alone. We hear how much you care about your marriage and want peace in your home, and we are praying with you for that.

In a season like this, it helps to remember the marriage itself needs care, not just each person trying to hold it together on their own. That often means learning new ways to listen and respond to each other, even when it is painful.

One small step that has helped many couples is to ask for a calm, brief time to listen without trying to fix or defend. You might ask your wife if she would be willing to share what feels heaviest to her right now, and simply listen to understand. If she is open, you could also invite a trusted pastor or Christian counselor to walk with you both. Even going yourself at first can give you wisdom and support for how to love her well in this hard stretch.

Father, we lift this husband and his marriage to You. You see the strain and the hurt they are both carrying. Bring Your peace into their home, soften hearts, and give them wisdom for each conversation. Help him to love his wife with patience and humility, and guide them to the help and counsel they need. Lead them day by day according to Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for peace in your marriage has been heard and we have carried it before the throne of grace. To be in a rough season where your wife can see nothing good in the union is a sore trial, and we do not make light of the heaviness you feel.

There is a peace which the world cannot give and which Christ alone can bestow. The prophet declares that the Lord will keep him in perfect peace, peace upon peace, whose mind is stayed upon Him because he trusts in Him. This is not a mere lulling of conscience to sleep where there is no true peace, but a peace with a reason and a groundwork. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and where there is peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, there the stream of peace may flow into the conscience and into the home. That peace is God's own child, calm and profound, the very peace of the Eternal Son. Seek first Christ Himself and peace will come in His train, for He is our peace and He is the God of all peace who has prepared everything necessary for perfect reconciliation.

Marriage is of God's own ordaining, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman becoming one flesh, cemented by mutual love and choice. As the Lord says, I am married unto you, so He sets before us the pattern of faithful, enduring love where two become one. When that bond is strained, our hope is not in our own strength but in Him who is able to restore. As Peter was down and yet soon up again by a look from the Lord and by the prevailing prayer of Christ, so the Lord is able to lift the fallen and to restore joy and tenderness where there has been coldness and sorrow.

We pray for you both now in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Saviour, through whom alone we have peace with God. May the Lord keep your minds stayed upon Him and grant you that peace which passes all understanding. May He help you to bear your sorrow together with Him, for to do the will of Jesus is rest even when duties press and sorrows surge around. May He soften hearts that have grown hard, teach you both forgiveness as those who have been forgiven, and open eyes to see good again where now little good is seen. May He who is the God of peace renew your peace day by day, make you to be at peace with Him and at peace with one another, and let His peace rule in your home till earthly struggles cease and He calls you to Heaven's perfect peace. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for peace in your marriage has been heard and I will pray for you and your wife in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and reconciliation with God.

There is nothing equal to peace. It is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy. Christ Himself came to make peace, having made peace through the blood of His cross, reconciling us to God when we were still at enmity with Him. If He reconciled us when we were in open war with Him, how much more will He help us to keep that peace when we cling to Him.

I pray that the Lord who made peace through His own blood will pour that same peace into your home. May He soften hearts, calm strife, and open eyes to see what is good and to be thankful again. Scripture calls us to follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. In marriage this means living in a chaste and faithful way, for marriage is honorable and pure, and it preserves the holiness that comes through faith by keeping us from defilement.

Do not grow weary in doing good. The peacemakers are called sons of God, because they imitate the Son of God who set at peace the things in heaven and on earth. Ask God to make you a peacemaker in your own house, not returning evil for evil, but with patience, gentleness, prayer, and love. Pray together if you are able, and pray daily for your wife, asking for the Angel of peace to be present in your home, and for God to guard your thoughts and words so that all may be at rest and in harmony.

May the Lord grant you both repentance where needed, forgiveness for past hurts, and a renewed commitment to love and honor one another as husband and wife in a lifelong covenant. May He keep you from sin and help you to abide in the reconciliation He has already given, so that your marriage may reflect His grace.

I pray this now: Father, in the name of Jesus, bring Your peace into this marriage. Heal what is wounded, restore what is broken, help this husband and wife to see the good You have placed in their union, and to live together in holiness and love. Give them wisdom, humility, and strength to pursue peace day by day. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your burden so honestly. I am praying for you and for your marriage, and I want you to know that God hears when you call on Him in the name of Jesus.

The Scriptures show that Jesus speaks with absolute authority into chaos. The same authority with which He commanded an unclean spirit to be silent and come out is the authority with which He rebuked the wind and spoke to the sea, saying peace be still, and the storm immediately became calm. The people who saw it asked what kind of man this is, because only God can do that. That same Lord is able to speak peace over the storm you are feeling in your home right now. He is not distant from the turmoil, and He has power to bring a great calm where there has been tearing and loud distress.

God designed marriage to be a profound unity, where two become one. It is a compound oneness that reflects His own nature, and His desire for it is wholeness and peace, not division. I know it is especially painful when your wife cannot see anything good in the marriage. Jesus was grieved when He saw hardness of heart in people, yet His grief moved Him to bring restoration and healing. He did not leave a man with a withered hand as he was, but told him to stretch it out and made him whole.

The sign of God's real work in a heart is a turning, a repentance that leads to change and restoration. That is what belongs to His kingdom, which is righteousness and joy and peace. My prayer for you is that God would do that restoring work in both of you. That He would soften hearts, open eyes to see what He can still do, and lead you both toward humility, forgiveness, and renewed love.

I am praying that the Lord will speak peace over your marriage and over your home. May He quiet fear and anger and confusion, and bring calm. May He give your wife hope and eyes to see good again, and give you strength and wisdom and love to walk faithfully. May He draw you both closer to Jesus, and as you trust Him, may He make you whole and send you forward in His peace. In Jesus name, amen.
