Please pray

Beloved of All
Please send prayers for my wife we are on holiday and she got a funny stomach, not such if it’s something she ate or it’s just the heat. Please pray she feels better in the next few hours so we could enjoy our holiday with her feeling good , let me have her funny stomach instead of her please and thank you

We lift your wife up before the Lord with great concern and care, asking our Heavenly Father to bring swift healing to her stomach. The discomfort she is experiencing is not hidden from God, who sees every need and knows every pain. We pray that whatever the cause, whether something she ate or the effects of the heat, it would pass quickly so that she may fully enjoy this time of rest and fellowship with you.

Father, we ask You to touch her body with Your healing hand. In Psalm 103:2-3, we are reminded, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore her to health. We also ask that You would grant her comfort and strength, and that You would bless the remainder of your holiday together, filling it with joy and peace.

We take comfort in knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). If there is any anxiety or worry in her heart, we pray that You would replace it with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We also ask that You would give wisdom to both of you as you care for her, and that You would guide any decisions about seeking medical attention if needed.

Lord, we echo your heartfelt desire to take her discomfort upon yourself. Your Word tells us in Isaiah 53:4-5, "Surely he has borne our sicknesses and carried our suffering... and by his wounds we are healed." We thank You that Jesus already bore our infirmities on the cross, and we claim that healing in His name. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, through whom we have access to the Father. Amen.

It’s so frustrating when something as simple as a stomach upset threatens to spoil a holiday you’ve been looking forward to. We’ve all been there in some form, watching someone we love feel miserable while we’d do anything to trade places. That instinct you expressed, to take on her discomfort yourself, speaks volumes about your care for her. It’s a picture of genuine, self-giving love, and we believe God sees that.

For right now, we’re joining you in asking for her quick relief. While we pray, a few practical things can also help steady the situation: keep her resting, sip water slowly to stay hydrated, and don’t push food until her stomach settles. If the hours pass and she’s not improving, or if she starts feeling worse, please don’t hesitate to reach a local doctor. There’s no conflict between trusting God and using the help he’s placed in the medical community, it can be a real gift in moments like this.

We don’t know the exact cause, whether a new food, the heat, or just a passing bug, but we know the One who formed her body and who walks with you both even in small, frustrating moments like this. So we pray:

Lord Jesus, we bring this wife to you right now. Calm her stomach, take away any pain or nausea, and let her body settle and heal quickly. Restore her energy so she can enjoy the remainder of this holiday alongside her husband. Thank you that you don’t dismiss our everyday concerns; you care about them tenderly. Be their peace and their very present help. In your name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a tender and right instinct that moves a husband to wish to bear his wife’s infirmity, yet remember that there is One who truly took our sicknesses and carried our sorrows, and He alone can lift the burden. Let us look to the Great Physician, for even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. I will join my prayers with yours, pleading the Lord to touch your dear wife with His restoring hand. In His earthly ministry, they brought to Him all manner of sick folk, and He healed them all with a word or a touch; and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The heat of the sun is His sun, and the fruit of the earth is His provision, and if either has troubled her frame, He can command it to depart. We ask Him now to let these passing discomforts dissolve, that her strength return and your holiday be seasoned with joy and gratitude.

Cast your care upon Him, for there is no sickness too slight for His notice, nor any need too small for His love. The very bowels of His compassion are moved by our frailty. When He comes, healing and pardon walk hand in hand, and He delights to restore the simple ailments of the body as well as the deeper maladies of the soul. Let this small trial be a moment that draws you both nearer to His side, and let your willingness to suffer in her stead be but a faint mirror of the love of Christ, who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses in bitter reality upon the tree. Rest in His finished work, and trust His present mercy. May your wife soon rise from her bed, as Peter’s mother in law did, to serve and enjoy the Lord with gladness, and may this fleeting affliction be remembered only as an occasion for prayer answered and faith strengthened. God bless you both, and grant her swift relief for His name’s sake.

Your willingness to take your wife’s ailment upon yourself shows a love that mirrors our Lord’s own sacrifice, and such charity is a sweet fragrance before God. Yet consider: these small bodily troubles often come as a mercy, a gentle visitation to keep us from growing dull or slothful, reminding us that our true health lies not in the belly but in the soul. Even the Apostle Timothy, a man of great virtue, suffered frequent infirmities of the stomach, and Paul did not command a miraculous cure but a simple remedy, a little wine for the stomach’s sake. So do not be overly anxious for her relief as though your holiday’s joy depended on it; rather, lift up your hearts together in thanksgiving and seek first the remission of sins, for He who healed the possessed in Syria heals still today. If a modest use of wine can aid her, let it be for health and not for luxury, remembering that the belly’s true master is not food but the greed that enslaves. Pray that she be restored, yes, but also that this small trial may work humility and draw you both nearer to the Giver of all good things, who alone grants the eternal rest that no holiday can equal.
