Please pray

Beloved of All
I have no food in the house and will Have to wait until Wednesday to do a pick up. Please pray in Jesus name most of the pantries and churches are Closed For the holidays. Ian losing hope.

We hear your cry and we are lifting you up together before the Father in Jesus name, and we thank you for asking for prayer in that precious name for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and hope that does not fail.

We know how heavy it feels to look in the house and see no food and to be told to wait until Wednesday while so many doors are closed for the holidays. It is understandable to feel hope slipping, but we want to remind you that God sees your need right now and He has not forgotten you. He is our provider and our very present help in trouble.

We cling to His promises with you. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Matthew 6:31-33 says Therefore do not be anxious, saying, What will we eat? What will we drink? How will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And Isaiah 41:10 says Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Even when we feel at the end of ourselves, Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us that His mercies are new every morning and His faithfulness is great.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You know this dear one's hunger and need and the weariness of waiting. Lord, You feed the birds of the air and You know every need we have before we ask. We ask You to open a door for provision even before Wednesday, to move on the heart of a neighbor, a church, a stranger, or a community resource to provide food today. Give daily bread as You have promised, calm fear, and restore hope. Let this one feel Your presence and Your love in a tangible way, and guard the heart and mind with Your peace. Sustain and strengthen until help comes, and let Wednesday's pickup be plentiful. In Jesus name we ask this, amen.

We encourage you not to lose hope and not to wait alone in silence. Please continue to reach out, call 211 or your local helpline if you are able, contact any local church office even if the pantry is listed as closed as someone may still answer, and let a trusted neighbor or family member know of the need. God often provides through the hands of His people. Keep seeking Him first, keep praying in Jesus name, and keep watching for His provision. We are continuing to pray with you that the Lord will supply and that you will see His faithfulness in these next days.

We are glad you reached out, even though we hear how heavy this feels. Having no food in the house and finding most pantries and churches closed for the holidays would leave anyone feeling worn down, and waiting until Wednesday can feel like a long time when you are already empty.

We are praying for you now, for daily provision and for strength and peace while you wait.

One step that often helps when everything looks closed is to make a couple of calls today instead of waiting alone. Even when a pantry is listed as closed, many churches and town offices still check voicemail over the holidays and can point to a meal site or emergency pantry that stays open. Your city or county information line, a nearby church office, or a trusted neighbor, family member, or friend may also know of a same day option. If you start to feel weak, dizzy, or unwell from not eating, please reach out right away to a local clinic, urgent care, or local emergency services for help.

You did the right thing to ask for prayer. You are not forgotten and we will keep bringing your need before the Lord with you.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You see the empty cupboards and the worry about the days ahead. Please open a door for food and practical help today, provide for each day until Wednesday, and give comfort and hope in the waiting. Let Your nearness be felt and guide each next step. In Jesus name, amen.

Your cry in this season of emptiness has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.

To have no food in the house and to face days of waiting while pantries and churches are closed is a heavy trial, and it is no wonder that your strength feels hunger bitten and your spirit is weary. Do not think that this need is hidden from your heavenly Father. He who feeds the sparrows and clothes the lilies knows what you have need of before you ask Him.

You write that you are losing hope, and I would deal tenderly yet truthfully with that word. There is a despair which measures God's power and grace by our own poverty and powerlessness, and so concludes there is no hope because there is no help in ourselves. That is an unwarrantable conclusion. Your extremity is God's opportunity. When our bones feel dried and our hope seems lost, God remains the God of Hope, and those who are without hope are not without Him still able to save. His promise may tarry but it never fails, and if it seems to fail for a time, it shall not fail forevermore.

While you wait until Wednesday, remember that to despair is not only a sickness of the mind but a burden upon the soul, and you have no just cause to perish in despair. While you live, hope in the Lord, and while you hope, you live. He has taught His people from their youth and He has not cast them off when chastened and tried. He who gave His own Son to be the witness of His love will not withhold daily bread from those who call upon Him.

We are praying for you now, that the Lord Jesus, who is our life and our provision, would open a door of mercy before Wednesday, that He would move upon some heart nearby to supply what you need, that He would sustain your body and guard your mind from sinking. We ask the Father in Jesus name to give you this day your daily bread, to give you patience in the waiting, and to let you see His wondrous works even in this want, that you may yet declare with thanksgiving what He has done.

Hold fast to Christ. You are not forgotten. The Lord who preserved His Word through all generations is the same Lord who preserves His people. Look to Him alone for salvation and for supply, and He will not put to shame the soul that trusts in His name.

We have heard your cry and we are holding you before the Lord in prayer. To have no food in the house and to face days of waiting while pantries and churches are closed for the holidays is a heavy burden, and it is understandable that you are losing hope. Scripture knows how dreadful it is to face hunger and how hard it is to have to ask for help, and the Lord does not overlook it. Jesus Himself teaches that when His people feed those who are hungry, they are ministering to Him.

We are praying for you in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and hope, that God would sustain you each day until Wednesday, calm your heart, and open a way for provision even when many doors are closed. We ask Him to give you strength, to remind you that you are not forgotten, and to move the hearts of those near you to share even from what little they have, for that is the love He calls His people to show.

Father, in Jesus name we lift up this dear one who is hungry and weary. Provide daily bread, guard against despair, and let Your presence be near. Give peace that passes understanding and bring help through Your people. Keep hope alive until relief comes and in the days beyond.

Please do not carry this alone. If the need becomes urgent, please reach out to a trusted neighbor, a local helpline, or dial 211 if it is available in your area, and let us continue to pray with you. We will keep praying for your pickup on Wednesday and for strength for each day until then. God sees you and cares for you.
