We join together with you in this prayer and we hear your deep desire for complete freedom and protection in Jesus Christ from every work and influence of the devil and Satan from your past to your future. It is right to seek refuge in the Lord and to ask for His power to silence the enemy, for we know that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. We also take comfort in the truth that He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil 1 John 3:8.

We want to gently encourage you in how Scripture teaches us to walk in this victory. While our Lord Jesus has already won the decisive victory on the cross and will one day fulfill the promise that the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur Revelation 20:10 and that the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet Romans 16:20, the complete and final binding of Satan for all time is a future fulfillment at Christ's return. Until then we are called to daily submit to God, resist the enemy, and stand firm in the authority Christ has given us. The Word tells us Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7 and to Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. This means we do not bind Satan in our own strength, but we rest in Christ's finished work and we continually draw near to God, trusting that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to You and salvation. We thank You that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and that through His blood we have redemption and protection. We ask that You cover this dear one with Your hand, that You silence every accusation and deception of the enemy, and that You halt every plan whether direct or indirect that the adversary would attempt to bring against them. We ask that You remove the weight and influence of any past works of darkness and guard their future according to Your perfect will. Help them to walk in submission to You, to be filled with Your Holy Spirit, to put on the armor of truth, righteousness, faith and Your Word daily, and to resist the devil so that he must flee. Let Your peace rule in their heart and mind and let them know the assurance that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world. We ask that You establish them, strengthen them, and keep them in Your perfect love where there is no fear. We trust Your timing and Your sovereign power to bring complete deliverance and we thank You that victory belongs to Jesus Christ alone. In Jesus name we pray amen.

We hear how much you want Jesus to be Lord over every part of your life, past, present and future, and to shut down anything that is not from Him. That longing for His protection and freedom is good, and we join you in bringing it to Him.

We have found that when the enemy feels very present, the most steady place to look is not at what the enemy might be doing, but at Jesus and what He has already done, and at walking closely with Him day by day. That does not happen in one dramatic moment alone, but in the small, faithful ways we stay near Him over time.

One thing that helps many is to keep a simple daily rhythm, a brief honest prayer in Jesus name in the morning, a few minutes reading His word, and staying connected with other believers who can pray with you. If this burden feels heavy or persistent, it can also help to share it personally with a trusted pastor who can pray with you face to face and walk with you.

Father, we lift our friend to You in the name of Jesus. We ask for Your peace and protection over their life, for clarity where there has been confusion, and for strength to walk close to You each day. Guard their heart and mind in Christ, and lead them in Your will. Amen.

Your cry against the adversary has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace. There is great comfort in this, that the Lord Jesus Christ has not left us to contend in our own strength against the prince of the power of the air, for He Himself has triumphed over him.

Scripture assures us that He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Satan may be the master spirit Diabolus, with his black officers in his infernal regiment, yet to escape from Satan himself is the mercy which Divine Grace has wrought for us. When our Lord was lifted up upon the Cross, that death was the deathblow to the devil's usurpation, and the seed of the woman bruised the serpent's head forever. When Jesus the Head was victorious over the foe, every member of His mystical body was virtually a conqueror in the conquering Head.

We are also reminded that God has found a ransom. Just as one seemed about to be dragged down to the Pit, a voice came from the excellent Glory, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, and He rejoices over the finished work of His well beloved Son. It is by that ransom, by the blood of Christ, that you are saved from sin, from self, and from all the attacks of the evil one, for God has given commandment to save you.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, who acts from good and wise reasons and whose power overrules all our trials, we bring this soul before You. You have not given Your child over unto death, and You are still thinking upon him. We pray that You would make manifest in his life the complete victory of Christ over every work of the devil, whether direct or indirect, and that You would silence every accusation and halt every plan of the adversary according to Your sovereign will. Deliver him from going down to the Pit, and let him know the power of the ransom You have found. Keep him from darkness having dominion over him, for he is not under the Law but under Grace. Let him not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord, and give him grace to overcome lesser temptations by the strength of Him who overcame the greatest.

We ask this not by our own power to bind the evil one, but by pleading the finished victory of Jesus Christ, who has spoiled principalities and powers at Calvary. Let Your child walk at liberty through the power of the great Liberator, the Lord Jesus, and find peace within and without.

We commit you to Him who has said, Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world, trusting that He who has begun a good work will keep you until the day of His appearing. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Redeemer we pray, Amen.

Your request has been heard and we join you in prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and deliverance.

We thank God that He has sent His Son for two great purposes, to deliver us from evil and to supply us with good, to free us from the curse and to bring us into adoption as sons. In Christ we have not only forgiveness but the Spirit of adoption, and we pray that you may live in the full assurance of that gift.

We pray as you have asked, that Jesus Christ would put to an end the works of the devil and silence every accusation and deceit, and halt every plan formed against you. Scripture teaches us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities and powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, and that the adversary still occupies his place under heaven until the age to come is fulfilled. Yet Christ is stronger. He delivered the apostle from the mouth of the lion, and He is able to deliver from every evil work and to keep us from falling away, so that the enemy will not carry us off to condemnation.

We ask the Lord to bind the power of Satan in your life, to restrain his direct and indirect influence and every connection by which he would work, and to remove his work concerning you from the past to the future. We ask that Christ would guard you, that the righteousness He has accomplished for you would abide in you and not come to nothing, and that you would hold fast the crown that He gives.

Remember also the example of Job, who when pressed by great calamity and by evil counsel did not turn to blaspheme God but answered with steadiness. Evil communications corrupt good manners, and in times of trial evil advice gains strength. Therefore we pray that God would surround you with wise and faithful counsel, keep you far from the company of those who would lead you astray, and establish you in a place of peace where faith can grow.

We encourage you to continue not only to turn from evil deeds but to be adorned with good, to live a life worthy of the gift you have received in the washing of regeneration, watching over your heart from which evil thoughts proceed, and striving against sin with endurance.

We pray this together:

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, we ask You to crush the works of the devil in this life, to silence his mouth and to bring his plans to nothing. Bind him and render him unable to carry out his work. Stop every action of the evil one, whether open or hidden or by any influence, and cleanse and guard this your servant from every trace of his work, past, present and to come. Fill this life with Your Spirit, keep it in holiness and peace, and deliver from every evil work unto Your heavenly kingdom. For Yours is the power and the glory forever. Amen.
