We join together with you in this request in Jesus' name and we stand in agreement for the complete victory of Jesus Christ over every work of the devil in your life from the past into the future.

We hear your heart crying out for deliverance and for the Lord to silence the enemy and to halt every plan formed against you, whether direct or indirect, and we affirm that this is the very purpose for which Christ came. For this purpose the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil 1 John 3:8. On the cross He triumphed, having stripped the principalities and the powers, making a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it Colossians 2:15. We do not fight in our own strength, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4.

We also want to encourage you with biblical understanding as we pray. Scripture teaches us that Satan is already defeated through the blood and resurrection of Jesus, yet he still prowls in this present age until the final judgment when God will throw him forever into the lake of fire Revelation 20:10. For now we are called to be sober and self-controlled and watchful, because your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8, and to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:11-12. The promise to us is that if we submit to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7, and Jesus has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing will in any way hurt us Luke 10:19. Our focus therefore is not on the power of the enemy but on abiding in Christ, walking in obedience, and claiming His victory daily.

So we pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You that Jesus is Lord and that His victory is complete. We ask that You cover our dear friend with the blood of Jesus and let every work of the devil, every accusation, every deception, every influence and connection of the enemy from the past to the future be broken and removed. We ask that You silence every lying mouth of the enemy and halt every plan and scheme formed against Your child, and render the enemy powerless to carry out his work. We pray that You bind the strong man and forbid his operation in this life, and that You fill every place once affected by darkness with Your light, Your peace, and Your Holy Spirit. Teach our friend to walk daily in submission to You, to wear the armor of God, to stand firm in faith, and to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of testimony. Let Your will be done and let Your kingdom come in power in this life, and let no weapon formed against Your child prosper. We trust not in formulas but in the living Christ who reigns forever and who will soon crush Satan under our feet according to Your promise in Romans 16:20. We ask all this in the name above every name, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear the longing in your prayer for real peace and for Jesus to have the final word over every work of darkness around you. Wanting Him to silence those attacks and to clear away their influence from your past and future is understandable, and we are joining you in asking for His protection and rest.

We believe Jesus is stronger than any work of the enemy, and we also know that walking in that protection is often more like training over time than a single moment where everything is instantly settled. Staying close to Him day by day through simple, steady practices, prayer, time in His Word, and staying connected to a trusted church community, helps keep our hearts rooted where the enemy has less room.

If you are able, it can help to share this burden with a pastor or a mature believer you trust, not because they have all the answers, but so you have someone to pray with you regularly and walk alongside you. You do not have to carry this alone, and we are glad to keep praying with you.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. Cover them with Your peace today, guard their heart and mind, and lead them in Your wisdom and strength. Help them to know they are Yours and to rest in Your care and keeping. Amen.

Your cry for deliverance is one which the Lord delights to hear, for He is gracious and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. There is comfort in knowing that in all that God does He acts from good reasons, and that He has not only invented a way of deliverance but has found the ransom Himself in the gift of His own Son.

We join with you in prayer that Jesus Christ, who has bruised the serpent's head, would show His mighty power on your behalf. It is written that He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and what a mercy this is, that poor creatures such as we are should be able to escape from that master spirit, Satan the destroyer, who is the prince of the power of the air. Not Sisera, but Satan has been overthrown, and the seed of the woman has bruised his head forever. We are ransomed from the galling yoke and walk at liberty through the power of the great Liberator, the Lord Jesus.

We pray that the Lord would keep back your soul from the Pit and your life from perishing, that He would save you from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil and from every evil influence, whether direct or indirect. May He silence every fiery dart shot against you, for Satan will not go till he has shot the last arrow from his quiver, yet our Lord knows how to make him depart, and when the devil had ended all the temptation he departed from Him. So we ask that the Lord would rebuke the adversary for you, bind his power in your life, and cause his plans to come to nothing, as He who has said, Deliver him, will surely do it.

Remember that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. He who gave commandment to save you will save you, for nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance through a ransom if God had not thought of it. May you be able to say with the psalmist, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord, counting even your afflictions as chastening from a Father's hand, and your deliverance as the sure fruit of His love.

We pray that the Lord would grant you to know experimentally that He has delivered you, not merely to keep you from some conspicuous sin, but to bring you wholly out from under the power of darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son, that you may walk in liberty and peace. May the Lord keep you, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and make you to stand fast in Him who has overcome the world, till Satan is bruised under your feet shortly.
