We join together with you in this prayer and we agree with your desire to see the power and victory of Jesus Christ made complete over every work of the enemy in your life from your past into your future.

We are encouraged by your faith in the authority of Jesus, for scripture assures us of His triumph. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8 We also take comfort that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4 And we are called to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 When we submit ourselves to God and resist the enemy in the name of Jesus, we have the promise that he will flee from us. James 4:7

We pray together for you now. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who has already disarmed the powers of darkness at the cross. We ask that You would manifest the victory of Jesus completely over every direct and indirect work, plan, influence, and connection of Satan and the devil concerning our brother or sister. Silence every accusing mouth and lying whisper of the enemy, halt every scheme formed against them, and render powerless every assignment of darkness. Lord, remove and cleanse away every residue of the enemy's work from the past and guard their future in Your perfect protection. Fill every place once affected by darkness with Your light, Your peace, and Your Holy Spirit. Help them to walk in holiness, in the Word, and in prayer, standing firm in the authority You have given, for behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. Luke 10:19 We trust in Your ultimate justice, knowing the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur. Revelation 20:10 and that Your final victory is sure. Keep them abiding in Christ daily, faithful and watchful, until that day. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ, to confess any known sin quickly, to dwell richly in scripture, and to pray without ceasing. The enemy is already defeated, but we still must stand firm and resist him by faith until Jesus returns to make His final and everlasting end to all evil. As you remain submitted to God, you can be confident that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and that the Lord Himself is your shield and strong tower.

We are so glad you reached out and shared this burden with us. Your longing to be free from every influence of the enemy, past and future, and to rest in the victory of Jesus is understandable, and we want to stand with you in that desire.

We hear how much you want complete peace and assurance that nothing of the enemy's work remains. It can be heavy to carry that concern, and at the same time God invites us to live not in fear or constant focus on the enemy, but in quiet trust that Christ Himself is our protection and keeper day by day. Walking steadily with Him, staying close in prayer, in His Word, and in fellowship with other believers, is often how that peace grows over time.

One simple next step that may help is to share this prayer request with a trusted pastor or mature believer in your local church who can pray with you in person and walk with you regularly. You do not have to carry this alone.

Father, we bring our friend before You and thank You that You hear this prayer. We ask for Your protection, Your peace, and Your clear guidance over every part of their life, past, present and future. Your prayer that Jesus Christ would put an end to all the works of the devil and silence his mouth has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

The Scripture declares a great deliverance, that He has delivered us from the power of darkness. What a mercy this is, that a poor creature such as man should be able to escape from the power of that master spirit, Satan the destroyer. He is the prince of the power of the air, and to escape from Satan himself, oh let it be sung in heaven. Not Sisera, but Satan has been overthrown, the seed of the woman has bruised his head for ever, and we now walk at liberty through the power of the great Liberator, the Lord Jesus.

We are reminded also of that gracious word, He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance of a sinner from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom, so that it is a gift of Divine Love. His own Son has borne the penalty of all our iniquities. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and in order to our sanctification and our deliverance we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone.

Satan will not go till he has shot the last arrow from his quiver, such is his malice that as long as he can tempt he will tempt, yet it is written, when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from Him for a season. Christ knows how to make the tempter depart, and He saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

Let us pray together for you.

O Lord our God, who has found a ransom in the blood of thy Son, we beseech thee to fulfill thy word in this thy servant. Deliver him from going down to the Pit. Thou hast delivered us from the power of darkness, deliver him now from every direct and indirect assault of the evil one, from every connection and influence by which the adversary would work. Put thou a stop to the devices of Satan, silence his accusations, and bind his power so that he cannot carry out his work against this soul. Wash away all that has been of Satan's work from the past, and keep this life from perishing by the sword of the enemy in days to come. Let it be seen experimentally, He has delivered us, and keep this thy child walking at liberty, not merely kept from some conspicuous sin, but truly delivered from the power of darkness. We ask this not for any merit in us, but because thou hast given commandment to save, and Jesus Christ has bruised the serpent's head. In His name and for His glory we pray, Amen.

We have received your request and we join you in prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is our deliverance and hope.

Scripture teaches that Christ came for two great purposes, to deliver us from evil and to supply us with good. By His incarnation and His cross He has redeemed us from the curse and has brought us into adoption as sons, so that we now have the Spirit of adoption and have put on Christ Himself. It is not by our own wisdom or strength that we stand, but by the power that comes from Him. As the Apostle says, the Lord delivered His servant from the mouth of the lion, and He will deliver from every evil work, not only from outward danger but from sin itself, so that we may resist the adversary and not be overcome.

We pray for you now in that confidence:

Heavenly Father, we thank You that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that with freedom Christ has set us free. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would guard ### by Your power, that You would break and bring to nothing every work and scheme of the devil, whether direct or indirect, and render the evil one unable to prevail. Silence every accusation and remove the effect of every evil work from the past, and keep ### in the present and in the days to come. Fill ### with Your Holy Spirit, strengthen faith, grant a sober and watchful mind, and help ### to stand fast in the freedom Christ has purchased, resisting the devil so that he flees, and walking as a child of God in holiness and peace.
