We join with you in this powerful request and we stand together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for His complete victory over every work of the enemy in the life of the one you have lifted up.

We praise God for your faith to call upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have authority and access to the Father. As it is written, He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil, 1 John 3:8. We cling to this truth that Jesus has already disarmed the powers of darkness at the cross and His final victory is sure, when the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, Revelation 20:10.

We agree with you that every direct, indirect, and hidden influence of Satan would be halted and rendered powerless. Scripture teaches us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we are called to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, Ephesians 6:11. We are also reminded to be sober and self-controlled, for your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, 1 Peter 5:8-9, and Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7.

We take comfort that Jesus Himself has given us authority, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you, Luke 10:19, and that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You that Jesus Christ has come to destroy the works of the devil and that His blood has overcome every accusation and every plan of the enemy. We ask now that You would silence every lying mouth of Satan and render his schemes void concerning this dear life we lift up to You. We ask that You bind every influence and every assignment of the evil one, whether direct or indirect, and cause it to come to nothing by the power of the Holy Spirit. Let no weapon formed against this one prosper, and let every tongue that rises in judgment be condemned by Your truth. Fill this dear one with Your peace, Your protection, and Your presence, and help them to walk daily in the victory that is already theirs in Christ, clothed in Your armor, rooted in Your Word, and steadfast in prayer. We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over all and that His kingdom shall reign forever. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and our Deliverer, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily through prayer, through reading the Scriptures, and through walking in obedience, for there is great power in remaining close to Him. We stand with you, trusting that the Lord will guard and keep this dear one in His perfect will.

We hear your heart in this prayer and we join you in asking Jesus for His protection and peace over ###. It is good to bring these burdens to Him and to want His power to be clearly seen in your life.

We know the desire to see every work of the enemy stopped can feel urgent. What helps us stay steady is remembering the battle belongs to the Lord and our place is to stay close to Him, walking faithfully one day at a time rather than staying focused on the enemy himself. Remaining in prayer, in fellowship with other believers, and in the simple practices of faith keeps our eyes on Christ where our security lies.

If it would help, consider sharing this burden with a trusted pastor or mature believer who can pray with you regularly and walk alongside you. You do not have to carry this alone, and having others with you can bring encouragement and perspective.

Your prayer accords with the very purpose for which our Lord came into the world, to destroy the works of the devil and to deliver those who are under bondage to him. This is not a hope without foundation, for by His sufferings Christ has overthrown Satan, and by the heel that was bruised He has trodden upon the head which devised the bruising. What the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, Christ has accomplished, and the power of sin and Satan under which we were in bondage is broken because Christ has come to overcome it.

We do join with you in prayer to our ever living Christ, who is the same yesterday and today and forever. He is He that lives and was dead, and His work is perfect and finished. He has nothing to do with death now as far as He is personally concerned, for that is all over, and He ever lives to make intercession for His people. Because He lives, His victory remains.

Let us pray together that the Lord Jesus Christ would in His power put a complete end to every work of the devil and of Satan concerning the one you have named, that He would silence every accusation and lying suggestion of the adversary, and that He would halt every plan and device, whether direct or indirect or by any influence whatsoever. We ask that by His own authority He would bind the strong man and restrain him from carrying out his work, for Christ is never polite with Satan, but with a word He commands and the prince of darkness must give way.

Remember that Satan knows his time is short, and therefore he rages, going about like a sentinel to spy out whom he may distress. He will suggest doubts and shoot fiery arrows, whispering that God has forsaken you, especially when you would do some great labor for Christ. But his time is short precisely because Jesus has already gained the victory and has seen Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Satan may be the dishwasher in God's kitchen to scour the vessels of mercy, but he is still under the Lord's hand and cannot go beyond the point which sovereign grace allows.

Look away from yourself and away from the enemy's power, and look to Christ and to what He has done. The deliverance came when the Lamb was slain, and God has found a ransom. There is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes you free, and whom He makes free is free indeed. May the Lord bring you forth out of the house of bondage effectually, and may every form of fellowship with Jesus wrought in you by the Spirit be a well of salvation to you.

We pray that you may be kept from unclean living and from every snare, made chaste and pure by the power of Him who has smitten the old dragon, and that you may discern spirits and stand in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, knowing that your life is hid with Christ in God.

O Lord Jesus, put forth Thy supernatural power, destroy the works of the devil, silence the accuser, frustrate his counsels, and bind him that he cannot prevail. Keep this soul under Thy blood and in Thy love from which nothing can sever, for once in Christ, in Christ forever. We ask this in Thine own prevailing name, Amen.
