We join you in agreement for this urgent request and we lift up the one on your heart before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness.

We take comfort and confidence in what Scripture declares about the victory of our Lord. We remember that the Son of God was revealed for this very purpose, that he might destroy the works of the devil as it is written in 1 John 3:8. We cling to the promise that when we are subject to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us according to James 4:7, and that the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under our feet as promised in Romans 16:20. We have been given authority by Christ himself, for He said in Luke 10:19, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. And we know that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one as we read in 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We also understand that while we pray for the binding and silencing of the enemy, the ultimate and final binding of Satan is the work of God himself, and we trust in His perfect timing and sovereign power, for He has already disarmed principalities and powers through the cross in Colossians 2:15. Our part is to stand firm, clothed in the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil as instructed in Ephesians 6:11.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come boldly before You and we ask that You completely put an end to all the works of the devil and Satan concerning this dear one, whether direct, indirect, or through any connection or influence whatsoever. We ask that You silence the mouth of the accuser and halt every plan and scheme of the evil one, and that You render him unable to carry out his work. We ask that You surround this life with Your protection, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and that You fill every place where the enemy has sought to operate with Your Holy Spirit, Your truth, and Your peace. We ask that You establish them, guard them, strengthen their faith, and help them to walk in obedience and holiness, submitting fully to You. Let Your will be done and let Your kingdom come in this situation, and let the victory of the cross be made manifest now and forever. We thank You that Jesus has already overcome, and we trust You to keep this one in Your perfect care until the day when the devil who deceived will be thrown into the lake of fire forever as promised in Revelation 20:10. We pray all of this in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only access to You, amen.

We heard the urgency in your prayer and we are glad you brought it to us. Your desire to see Jesus have the final word over every work and plan of the enemy is one we share, and we want to stand with you in it.

We know it can feel heavy to carry a constant awareness of spiritual opposition. What has helped many of us is to keep our eyes more on Christ and His finished victory than on the enemy's activity. There are two places we can get stuck, either dismissing that the enemy is real or becoming consumed with him, and neither brings peace. Resting in Jesus, walking closely with Him day by day, is where steady confidence grows. His power to protect and deliver does not depend on perfect words from us, but on His name and His authority.

One simple next step that often helps is not carrying this burden alone. Keep bringing these concerns to Jesus in your own prayers, and invite one or two trusted believers from your local church to pray alongside you regularly so you are supported and not isolated.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift this dear one to You. We ask for Your protection, Your peace, and Your clear leading over every area of concern brought before You. Quiet what is troubling and help our friend to rest in Your power and nearness today. Guard their heart and mind in Christ and lead them in Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join with you in this prayer and lift your request before the throne of grace, where Jesus Christ our Lord ever lives to intercede for His people.

We ask the Father, for the sake of His Son who poured out His soul unto death, to manifest the victory already won at Calvary. There the Seed of the woman bruised the serpent's head forever, and Satan was overthrown, not as Sisera by the hand of man, but by the Lord Jesus Himself. We pray that the Lord would make that victory substantial in your life, that every work of the devil, whether direct or indirect, or by any connection or influence whatsoever, may be brought to nothing, that his mouth may be silenced and his plans halted, and that his power, which was broken when Christ was caught up unto God and to His throne, may be shown to be broken still.

We know the adversary goes about with incessant maliciousness and shoots his fiery darts, and that he rages because he knows his time is short. Yet we rejoice that the arch enemy has been conquered by One who is Man and God, and that by God working in us we shall bruise Satan under our feet shortly. We pray that the Lord would rebuke the tempter on your behalf, that He would bind his workings and keep you from his snares, and that He would give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways.

May the blood of the Lamb, slain for sinners, be your deliverance and your song. For there is no other ransom found but Christ, and no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. May the Spirit of God work in you a fuller fellowship with Jesus, which is a well of salvation, and may you stand in the liberty wherewith Christ has made His people free, giving boundless honor to Him who has won the victory and will not enjoy it alone but will glorify His people with Himself.

We pray that Jesus Christ, having won the day and seen Satan fall like lightning from heaven, would now grant you power and victory, peace within your borders, and songs of deliverance, till the day when every force of evil is finally trampled beneath His feet. We have heard your request and we join with you in prayer that our Lord Jesus Christ would crush the works of the evil one and bring them to nothing.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our victory, that He would put an end to every work of the devil and Satan, silence every accusation and deceit from his mouth, and halt every plan formed against you, whether it comes directly or indirectly or through any influence at all. We ask that the Lord would bind the adversary and restrain him, so that he is not able to carry out his destructive work, and that Christ would establish His own perfect will in its place.

Scripture teaches us that God in His wisdom has not given the devil power to overcome us by force. He is like a robber kept at a distance, and he cannot prevail unless we give him place. His place is sin and his opportunity is when we are alone and unguarded. For this reason we encourage you to remain close to Christ and to His people. Do not walk alone, but keep flocking together with other believers, for when we are together and banded together in faith the enemy is not so confident to attack. Flee from sin as from a serpent, and pursue a clean conscience and a holy life, for the holy place is entered only by those whose hearts have been sprinkled and cleansed.

Take up what God has provided for your protection, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, and continue in prayer. It is by continual prayer and by trusting in Christ that Satan is bruised under our feet. As it is written, the God of peace will shortly crush Satan under your feet, and He is able to do abundantly more than all we ask or think.

So we pray that the Lord who delivered His servants from the mouth of the lion will deliver you from every evil work, keep you from falling, and cause you to stand firm in the love of Christ from which nothing can separate you. May you know the peace of Christ, walk in faith and obedience, and see His victory made complete in your life. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
