Beloved of All
Your request for Jesus Christ to bring a complete end to every work of the devil and to silence every voice and plan of the enemy is a right and biblical prayer, and we join you in it.
Scripture shows us that victory is already secured in Jesus. Death could not hold Him, for God raised Him up, and in His resurrection and ascension He led captivity captive and set the captives free. He has absolute authority over the spiritual realm. The Bible teaches that evil spirits are real, that they speak and deceive and go forth to influence, and that at His word they cry out and must depart. They are not free to act without limit, but are under His control and reserved for judgment, confined in that shaft or bottomless pit which is separate from the place where people are held, and they begged Jesus not to send them there before the appointed time. One day they will be fully and finally confined, and for now every direct and indirect working, every connection and every influence, remains subject to Christ alone. When God brings His righteous judgment, those who belong to Him are drawn back to Him.
So we pray with you now that the Lord Jesus Christ Himself would do what only He can do. May He put a complete stop to every work of the devil and Satan concerning you, silence every mouth that would speak lies or accusation, and halt every plan and scheme, whether it is direct, indirect, or comes through any connection or influence whatsoever. May He cover you with His protection, fill you with His peace, and keep you walking in the freedom and deliverance He purchased by His blood and resurrection. We ask that you would know more and more the power of His victory day by day until that final day when all evil is put away forever. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
