We join you in wholehearted agreement for the one you have lifted up, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ asking that every work, plan, and influence of the devil and Satan be completely halted and brought to nothing.

We take comfort in knowing that the victory has already been secured at the cross. For this purpose the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil 1 John 3:8. We are called to be sober and self-controlled and watchful because your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, yet we are to withstand him steadfast in our faith 1 Peter 5:8-9. We are not fighting in our own strength, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4, and we are to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. When we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7, for the Lord has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy Luke 10:19, and the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet Romans 16:20.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that Jesus has triumphed over sin, death, and the power of the enemy, and that by His blood we overcome Revelation 12:11. We ask that You silence every lying mouth and accusing voice of the evil one against this dear one, that You bring to an end every direct and indirect work, every hidden influence and every scheme of the devil and Satan, and that You halt every plan formed against them for all time. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises in judgment be condemned by Your righteousness. Fill them with Your peace, Your protection, and Your Holy Spirit, and cause them to walk in the freedom and authority that is theirs in Christ. We rebuke the enemy and command every work of darkness to depart and to have no more place or influence, and we declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over every area of this life. Strengthen their faith to remain steadfast, clothed in Your armor, abiding in Your Word, and trusting in Your complete and final victory. We ask this in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in faith, to abide daily in prayer and in the Word, and to trust that the Lord who began a good work will be faithful to guard and keep His own until the day when the enemy is cast down forever.

We are grateful you reached out and shared what is weighing on your heart. We hear how much you want Jesus to have the final word over every influence of the enemy, and to know you are safe in Him.

One thing that has helped many believers is remembering that spiritual warfare is real, but our focus is meant to stay on Christ himself more than on the enemy. When we stay close to Jesus day by day, we are staying where He already has authority.

If it would help, a steady next step could be leaning into a few simple, regular practices with Him, spending a little time in Scripture, talking honestly with Him in prayer, and staying connected with a trusted pastor or small group of believers who can pray with you in person. It is often that quiet, consistent walk over time, more than a single moment, that brings deeper peace and clarity. You do not have to carry this vigilance alone.

Father, we lift this dear one to You now. Thank You that Jesus is Lord and that You are near. We ask for Your protection, Your peace and Your clear guidance over every part of his life. Help him to rest in Your presence and to walk closely with You each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a right and scriptural prayer you have offered, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

You ask that Jesus Christ would put an end to all the works of the devil and silence his mouth and halt his plans, whether direct or indirect or by any connection or influence whatsoever. This is to ask for that which Christ has already secured by His cross and which He will most surely perfect in His people. The Seed of the woman shall trample on the serpent, and because He has poured out His soul unto death, He must win the victory. Forever and ever boundless honors shall be given to Christ for His victory over every force of evil.

Be comforted to know that Satan's power is broken. He may rage and rave in his great wrath, but there is a bit in his mouth and a bridle on his jaws, and he can be controlled and restrained just as the Lord pleases. He goes about with incessant maliciousness, seeking whom he may devour and considering how he may wound the saints, yet he cannot go beyond his chain. When Jesus was nailed to the cross, Satan thought he had won the day, but in that very hour he was cast down, and Jesus saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

We therefore pray with you and for you, that the Lord Jesus Christ would manifest His conquest in your life. May He rebuke the adversary for you, for there is no other way to be saved from the castings down of Satan but the rebuke of Jesus. May He silence every lying accusation, frustrate every subtle device, and bring to nothing every plan formed against you, whether openly or secretly. May He keep you in all your ways, and give His angels charge over you, and bruise Satan under your feet shortly. And when He shall ask the Father, give them power and victory, it must be done.

Rest in this, that when Jesus Christ the Head of the Church was victorious over the foe, every member of His mystical body was virtually a conqueror in the conquering Head. You are more than conqueror through Him that loved you. May the Lord give you to see more of the beauty of Christ, and to be kept jealous over that sight, and to give thanks to God through Jesus Christ who has been pleased to give you the victory.

We commend you to Him who has already overcome the world, praying that His substantial victory may be yours in full experience, that myriads of mercies may flow to you from His finished work, and that Satan may find no chamber in your faculties nor forge in your emotions, but that Christ may dwell there alone. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who has conquered and who reigns supreme over all the powers of darkness, Amen.
