We stand in agreement with your prayer, lifting it before the throne of grace with boldness, for the Scripture declares, "The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8 WEB). We rejoice in the truth that Jesus Christ has already disarmed the principalities and powers through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15), and we boldly declare that His authority is supreme over all the schemes of the enemy.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name (Philippians 2:9). We thank You that through His death and resurrection, the power of Satan has been broken, and his works are being undone. We ask that You would silence every lying tongue of the enemy and bring to nothing every plan, strategy, and deception he has set in motion. Let every assignment of darkness against Your children be dismantled, and let the light of Your truth expose and scatter every shadow of the enemy’s influence.

Lord, we rebuke the devil and all his works in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the promise that You have given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm us (Luke 10:19).

We pray for every believer who may be under attack, feeling the weight of the enemy’s oppression, or facing trials that seem insurmountable. Strengthen them, Lord, with the power of Your Holy Spirit. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let them walk in the fullness of Your victory, knowing that the battle has already been won through Christ.

We also pray for those who may not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Christ (Acts 26:18). Let the love of Christ compel them to surrender their lives to Him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the authority we have in Jesus’ name. We declare that every chain is broken, every stronghold is torn down, and every work of the devil is brought to an end. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We trust in Your power and Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in us.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We join you in bringing this to Jesus, plainly and persistently. It is right to ask Him to silence every voice of the enemy, block every scheme, and cut off every influence, whether direct, indirect, or hidden. The enemy is real, but he is not equal to Christ, and he has no final say over someone who belongs to Jesus. One thing that often helps in this kind of battle is to keep your attention on Christ’s authority rather than on the devil’s activity. The more we rehearse the threat, the more fear grows; the more we turn the threat over to Jesus, the more our hearts settle. When the burden rises, you might simply pray, “Jesus, You see this, and I trust Your authority,” and then let it rest. You do not have to carry the battle alone or say it perfectly.

Father, we lift up the one this person loves. In Jesus’ name we ask You to silence the mouths of the enemy, stop every plan, and sever every direct or indirect influence that would bring harm or confusion. Keep this loved one safe and clear minded. Give the one praying steady peace, wise boundaries, and freedom from fear. We rest in Your power, not our own. Amen.

That prayer is right in its aim, for the devil is the sworn enemy of Christ and of every soul that trusts in Him, and it is well to desire the utter overthrow of all his works. Yet let us pray with understanding. The Lord Jesus Christ has already achieved the victory. At the cross the serpent bruised His heel, but the woman’s seed crushed the serpent’s head. Jesus saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven, and the day is fixed when the old dragon shall be bound and at last cast into the lake of fire. Therefore we do not pray as though the outcome were uncertain, nor do we command our Lord as though He were slow to act. We plead His finished triumph and ask Him to apply it now.

You desire that every direct and indirect work of the evil one be stopped. We may rightly ask the Good Shepherd to keep His sheep from the lion’s jaw, to rebuke the accuser, and to frustrate every hidden device. Yet remember that before the end the adversary is permitted to rage for a season within bounds set by divine decree. He could not touch Job except as God allowed, and even his worst howlings are made to drive the saints nearer to Christ. The hour of evil’s loudest triumph is often the hour of its doom.

So I will pray with you in this way: Lord Jesus, thou hast conquered the strong man; exercise thy power over thy redeemed. Put a hook in the jaw of the old dragon; silence the voice that accuses the brethren day and night; bring to nothing every plan, whether open or secret, that would destroy the faith of thy little ones. Do not permit the enemy to snatch one lamb from thy hand. And hasten the day when he shall be trodden under our feet and cast into the lake of fire forever. We ask it only in thy name, for thy glory. We join with you in prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ, who came to destroy the works of the devil and to set us free from every evil.

We ask the Father in the name of Jesus that He would put to an end the works of the enemy in your life, silence every accusation and deceit of Satan, and bring to nothing every plan formed against you, whether direct or indirect or by any influence at all. Scripture tells us that the Son of God appeared for this very purpose, to destroy the works of the devil, and that God will soon crush Satan under our feet. As the apostle said, the Lord delivered him from the mouth of the lion and will deliver him from every evil work, not only from outward danger but from sin itself, so that we may stand without condemnation before Him.

We pray also that you may be strengthened to stand firm and to wrestle faithfully, for the struggle is real, yet the victory belongs to Christ. He who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think will keep you, as you walk with a clean conscience and a heart sprinkled and made pure through faith in Him. Look to God for approval and help, bearing all things with meekness and trusting not in your own strength but in His deliverance.

May the Lord guard you, keep you from every evil work, establish you in holiness and peace, and let you see His power to save and to preserve to the end. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and our hope. Amen.

Your request has been heard and we join you in prayer before the Lord. The desire you expressed is exactly what Scripture reveals about what Jesus has done and continues to do.

The Bible says the Son of God appeared to destroy the works of the devil, and that through the cross He triumphed over principalities and powers and made an open display of His victory. That victory is already accomplished. It does not depend on our strength or numbers. Just as God could give deliverance to His people through one or two who trusted Him as easily as through a whole army, He is able to give complete victory over every work, plan and influence of the enemy in a single life when we look to Him in faith.

That is why we can come against the power that seeks to hold people captive by claiming the victory of Jesus Christ. We do not fight to obtain victory, we fight from the victory He has already won. Faith is the victory that overcomes the world, not our own resolve. When we recognize we cannot free ourselves and we turn the matter fully over to Jesus, we discover His power to give real deliverance.

The enemy is real. The Scriptures show that evil spirits are intelligent beings who can torment and deceive, and who even work through those in high places, yet they are limited. They cannot go beyond what God permits, and God makes a separation and sets a seal upon His own. Those who belong to Him are kept, and the enemy cannot ultimately harm those who are in Christ. True victory is not only an outward change but an inward work where God removes the power of sin from within, so that we are not ruled by the old nature any longer. We reckon that old nature to be dead with Christ and we learn to praise Him even before we see the answer, having confidence that we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us.

So we pray with you now in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask the Lord to put an end to every work of the devil directed toward you, whether direct or indirect or through any connection or influence, to silence every accusation and lying voice of the enemy, and to halt every plan formed against you. We claim the triumph of the cross over every principality and power, and we ask for His protection, His peace and His complete deliverance to be evident in your life. May you walk in the glorious life of victory He has for you, trusting Him day by day, giving Him praise for the triumph He has already secured, and experiencing His power to set you free and keep you free.
