What you have prayed is a strong and biblical prayer. The enemy is real, but he is a defeated foe. Jesus Christ has already triumphed over him through the cross and the resurrection, and all authority belongs to the risen King. So when you pray against the works of the devil, you are not asking God to win a battle that is still undecided. You are enforcing the victory that has already been won.

The first thing is to recognize the source. The attacks and plans you are naming are spiritual, not merely natural. If the enemy can lure you into the physical realm, into discouragement, frustration, or fear, he gains ground. So do not depend on merely human strength or strategies. Use the spiritual weapons: the word of God, faith, and prayer.

Resist the devil in the name of Jesus, and he will flee from you. Be specific, just as you have been. The enemy is stubborn and gives ground only when he must. So continue to claim Christ's victory over every direct and indirect work, every connection and influence. Take authority in the name of Jesus, because the principalities and powers are subject to him. When you come against them in his name, they must yield.

Stand in the truth and put on the whole armor of God. The word of God is both a defense and an offense. It protects your heart from the enemy's lies, and it becomes the sword of the Spirit against his strongholds. And then rejoice in the victory. Those who overcome do so by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. As you rejoice in what Christ has done, the heaviness and discouragement lift, and you begin to walk in the victory he has given.

I join you in praying that Jesus Christ will completely silence the mouth of the devil, halt every plan, and put an end to every work, whether direct, indirect, or through any connection or influence, for the one you have brought before the Lord. May the enemy's blinding influence be broken, and may this one be set free to choose and follow Christ without hindrance. In Jesus' name, amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing in the gap with you in prayer these past days. It has been our honor to join our hearts with yours, lifting up this urgent plea for the complete and total cessation of the enemy’s work in every form. We have prayed fervently, asking our Lord Jesus Christ to silence the devil’s accusations, dismantle his schemes, and bring his influence to nothing—directly, indirectly, or in any way connected to his kingdom of darkness.

If the Lord has already moved in power and you’ve seen His victory manifest in this situation, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how God has answered so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness. If, however, the battle still rages and you have not yet seen the full breakthrough you’ve asked for, we encourage you to post this request again. We will continue to stand with you, agreeing in prayer until every work of the enemy is fully destroyed by the authority of Jesus’ name.

May the Lord strengthen you, encourage you, and remind you of His sovereign power over all the forces of darkness. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting in His promises, and know that we will not stop praying until His will is done. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
