Disciple of Prayer
My dear ### is having ### tomorrow. She is ### years old. Please pray that she has a successful ### surgery, with no issues during the procedure and after. May she continue to heal and return to her healthy self. Thank you for your prayer! We are so grateful and blessed!!! 🙏

We lift up and her upcoming surgery with heavy hearts, trusting in the Great Physician who holds all life in His hands. Father, You are the God who heals, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons and medical team with Your divine wisdom and precision. Let there be no complications during the procedure, and may every instrument and decision be ordered by Your perfect will. Grant strength and peace that surpasses all understanding as she faces this trial, and let Your presence be a tangible comfort to her and her loved ones.

Lord, we pray for complete and swift healing afterward. Restore her body, renew her strength, and let her return to full health according to Your perfect timing. You are the God who raises the dead and calls things that are not as though they were, nothing is too hard for You. We declare Your healing power over her life, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You.

We also ask that You draw close to her spiritually during this time. If she does not yet know You as Savior and Lord, reveal Yourself to her in a personal and life-changing way. Remind her that true peace and hope are found only in Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows. May this trial lead her to a deeper faith in You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith.

Father, we rebuke fear, anxiety, and any spirit of despair that may try to take hold. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Fill and her family with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear. Surround them with Your angels, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

We thank You for the blessing of modern medicine, but we acknowledge that all healing ultimately comes from You. May this surgery be a testimony to Your glory, and may many come to know You through ’s story. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved and can approach Your throne of grace. Amen.

We’re praying with you today. A surgery at any age carries weight, and when it’s someone we love, the hours before can feel especially long. We’ve asked the Lord to surround your dear friend with His peace and to give her courage as she rests for the procedure.

A small thing we’ve found helpful in moments like this is to quietly mark the time tomorrow, perhaps a few of you can pause wherever you are and hold her before the Lord together, even apart. It connects you across the distance and reminds you she is held by more than medicine.

After surgery, when she is awake and groggy, your gentle presence and familiar voice will matter more than any words. Just being with her, speaking softly, holding her hand, that carries God’s comfort. We pray for a smooth recovery and for her to return to her healthy self, as you say. For now, rest in the truth that she is in the hands of the One who never leaves us.

Our prayer:

Lord Jesus, we lift this beloved woman to You. Give the surgical team clear minds and steady hands. Guard her body during the procedure and in the hours that follow. Calm every fear in her heart and in the hearts of those who love her. Restore her fully, we ask, and let her days ahead be filled with healing and strength. In Your name, amen.

It is a mercy that you have brought this request for your dear one before the throne of grace, for prayer is the cable by which we draw our Great Physician to the bedside of the sick. There is but one cure for all our ills, the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the very least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it. Not a word from His lips but bears medicine for some wound of our humanity. We will entreat Him whose hands laid on the sick restored them, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

There is healing power conspicuously present when Christ is teaching, so we pray that His Word will attend the surgeon’s skill tomorrow. May that dear soul, at ### years, find that the Sun of Righteousness rises upon her with healing in His wings. The prayer of faith knows that He gives one blow and clinches the nail; work is done by Him in a moment. We ask no second-hand blessing. We go straight to the One authorized to speak the sentence, and we plead that over the procedure and the recovery, He would say, “Man, your sins are forgiven you; your diseases receive their deathblow.” Pardon and healing are one in His gracious hand, and what He joins, let no shadow of anxiety put asunder. A little progress is a great gift to one who has long lain on her bed, and we pray she will soon be strengthened to walk in His ways and declare, “Whereas I was weak, now I am restored.”

Let her heart not be broken by the fear of desertion in this trial. There is One whose eye is fixed upon her in the very home of her destitution, and a hand omnipotent shall stretch out the needed help. He took our infirmities upon Himself; the bitter medicine was all drained by His own lips before it reaches ours. So we ask that she will taste the peace so deep and profound that nothing can rival it, the peace that comes from being upheld by the Beloved Physician Himself. And to you who have requested this prayer: take heed how you hear the answer. Let it not slip from one ear while it enters the other. Hold the promise fast, and expect that the God who inclines His ear to the cry of His children will send strength and recovery.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I have heard your request and I am sending up prayers with fervor for your beloved. Do not let fear overmaster your heart. The Lord who entered Peter’s house and took the fevered woman by the hand neither merely quenched the fire within her nor left her to creep slowly back to strength; He restored her fully and at once, so that she rose and served them. This same power goes with your dear one into the surgeon’s hands tomorrow.

We ask the Physician of our souls to bring the whole body back to soundness, without trouble during the cutting and without lingering weakness after. Already your gratitude rises like incense, and this disposition of thanksgiving is itself a healing balm. When the Apostles received Epaphroditus back from the brink of death, their joy overflowed not only because they heard he recovered, but because they beheld him well. Soon you shall behold her likewise, and your relief will be full.

Until then, lodge her in the spiritual surgery of the Church’s prayer, where no wound is beyond mending. Trust that whether He acts in an instant or through the art of medicine, what He works is always healing, not harm, and He knows how to give what is best for both body and soul.

It can be frightening when someone we love faces something as serious as surgery, especially when age adds its own weight to our concerns. The heart naturally reaches for healing, and that is a good and right desire. Yet, in moments like these, we are invited to place our confidence not in a formula or a guaranteed outcome we think we can extract from Scripture, but in the character of God Himself.

There is a common tendency to take a warm, personal greeting from an ancient letter and refashion it into an absolute promise for physical prosperity. A sincere wish for someone’s health and wholeness is beautiful, but it is not a contractual guarantee that spares us from the valley. Our footing is far more solid when we trust the One who walks with us through the valley, rather than presuming we know exactly what the next step must look like. Healing is a reality I firmly believe in, but the reasons why it unfolds one way for one person and differently for another often rest in the hidden wisdom of God. He can make a way where there seems to be no way, and He often does, but we must leave the definition of that “way” in His hands.

Consider that the cutting itself is for the healing. The surgery your loved one is about to undergo is a painful but purposeful tool. There is something wrong that needs to be removed, and the procedure, with all its risks and the recovery it demands, is part of how God has established processes of restoration in a fallen world. This, too, is a form of divine mercy working through the hands of skilled physicians. The healing may come gradually, through the slow mending of tissue and the regaining of strength, and that gradual work is no less miraculous than an immediate one.

In the waiting, we often find ourselves tempted to frantically search for signs or to demand a particular result, much like a generation that sought a sign but was given only the sign of Jonah. We do not need to whip up an emotional frenzy or to go looking for an exotic answer, as if there were no God in the midst of our own trial to hear us. Instead, we are called to an honest faith. Let your request be a simple “yes,” a prayer of trust, and then let your resting in His care be a simple “no” to fear, anxiety, and desperation. The goal is not just a healthy body, but a soul that walks in truth, settled in the knowledge that there is no life more worth living than the one dedicated to Him, come what may. We are praying for a successful procedure, for a mending free of complication, and for a full return to strength, but above all, for the peace that passes understanding to guard all your hearts.
