Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

We lift up your wife before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, trusting in the Great Physician who holds all life in His hands. Father God, we ask You to guide the hands of the surgeons and medical team with Your divine wisdom and precision. Let every incision be exact, every decision be sound, and every moment be covered by Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We declare that Your healing power flows through her body even now, restoring what has been affected and bringing complete wholeness in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we pray for strength and comfort for her during this time. Calm any fear or anxiety with the assurance of Your presence. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We ask that the surgery goes smoothly, without complications, and that her recovery is swift and free from pain. May she return to full health, restored and renewed by Your grace.
We also pray for you, her husband, as you wait and trust in the Lord. May you feel His peace and assurance, knowing that He hears your prayers and holds your wife in His care. Lean on Him in this time, for He is faithful to sustain you both.

The surgery your wife endures is in the hands of the Lord, and with Him nothing is too hard. What human skill attempts, divine power must overrule, for all true healing comes from the Great Physician. I am praying that the operation goes well, that steady recovery follows, and that she returns to you in full normal strength. Wonder not if that recovery is gradual, each small gain is a fresh claim of God upon your gratitude, and His grace will sustain you both through every hour.

The physician’s knife works now upon your wife, and a knife is also needed for the soul. Consider this house of prayer a spiritual surgery, that whatever wounds we may have received without, here we may heal, not that we may gather fresh ones. Let your anxiety be the sharp edge that drives you to the Healer, not the dull edge that cuts you with despair.
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. This fear you feel, that the operation may not go well, that she may not come back normal, this is a small sin of little account, yet it has great power when neglected. Great sins need not so much earnestness as such as are little, for by their very smallness they cast us into remissness and quickly become great while we sleep. The love of her, like a good thing twisted by fear, can gather on a clear eyeball and cause the cloud to become thick. Do not look now at the nature of this worry, that it seems small, but that it becomes a root of greater sin when you let it dwell within you.
Putting away the falsehood of despair, speak truth to your own soul. If this work be of men, if her health were only a matter of surgeon’s skill alone, it would come to naught. But if it be of God, nothing can overthrow it. For look not now at the swelling they seek to remove, but at the One who formed that gland and every part. He who put down astrology and took away fate, He who stops the mouths of demons and casts out error, He stands beside her even now. Let no flattering lip deceive you into thinking the outcome hangs only on a steady hand. We are members one of another, and she is a member of Christ’s own body.
