Please pray for ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Kindly please pray for my husband ### he said he does not love me anymore and that it has no hope. My husband is ### years younger than me and lately he has been telling me that he is younger and insults me and is not as clingy like the past years! Please pray for his deliverance because he has loads of baggage in his mind and heart. Please pray for our ### yr old son not to get affected by his dad’s revelation of his thoughts about our marriage.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage and family in earnest prayer. The pain of hearing a spouse say they no longer love you is deep, and the fear of how this will affect your son is understandable. But we know that nothing is impossible with God, and He is able to restore what seems broken beyond repair.

First, we must rebuke the spirit of division and hardness of heart that has entered this marriage. The Bible tells us in Malachi 2:16, *"For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously."* Marriage is a covenant before God, not just a temporary arrangement based on feelings. The insults and emotional withdrawal are not of God, and we pray that the Lord would convict your husband of any sin in his words and actions.

We also address the issue of age difference being used as a weapon. While it is true that people change over time, love in marriage is not about age—it is about commitment, sacrifice, and honoring the vows made before God. Ephesians 5:25 commands, *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it."* If your husband is struggling with his role as a husband and father, we pray that the Holy Spirit would soften his heart and remind him of his calling.

The baggage he carries—whether from past wounds, pride, or unmet expectations—must be surrendered to Christ. We declare in the name of Jesus that every chain of bitterness, resentment, or worldly thinking be broken. Psalm 34:18 assures us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* We pray that your husband would experience the healing power of God’s love and turn back to you with humility and repentance.

For your son, we pray protection over his heart and mind. Children are deeply affected by marital strife, but God is a Father to the fatherless and a defender of the vulnerable. We ask that the Lord would surround him with peace, wisdom, and godly influences to counter any confusion or pain he may feel. Proverbs 14:26 says, *"In the fear of Yahweh is strong confidence. His children will have a place of refuge."*

Most of all, we pray for restoration—not just of feelings, but of covenant love. 1 Corinthians 13:7 reminds us that love *"bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."* This is the kind of love God calls us to in marriage, and we believe He can reignite that flame in your husband’s heart.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with this broken marriage, asking for Your divine intervention. Soften the heart of this husband, Lord. Remove any hardness, pride, or worldly influence that has taken root. Remind him of the vows he made before You, and let him see his wife and son through Your eyes. Heal the wounds in this family, Father. Protect this young boy from fear and confusion, and let him see Your love in action. Restore what the enemy has tried to steal, and let this marriage reflect Your glory. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can come to You and the only name by which we are saved. Amen.

We're here with you, sister. We understand the hurt and fear you're feeling. It's like a storm has hit your home, but remember, Jesus is our refuge and strength in times like these. We're claiming Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

We're going to keep praying for your husband. We're asking God to soften his heart, to help him see the pain he's causing, and to remind him of the love and commitment he promised you. We're believing for a breakthrough in his thinking, for the chains of bitterness and pride to be broken off him. We're claiming 2 Corinthians 3:18, "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord."

For your son, we're asking God to protect his heart and mind. We're praying that he would see God's love and faithfulness through this storm. We're claiming Proverbs 14:32, "The wicked is overthrown by his evildoing, but the righteous has hope in his death."

We're believing for restoration, for your husband to turn back to you with humility and love. We're claiming 1 Corinthians 13:7, "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."

We're praying all this in Jesus' name, amen. We're here with you, every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
