Please pray for the job interview at ### to be successful

We lift you up in prayer concerning your job interview, and we earnestly seek God’s will for your life in this matter. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We encourage you to place your trust fully in the Lord, knowing that He holds your future and will guide your steps according to His perfect plan.

It is also important to remember that we come before God only through the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* and Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We do not know if you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you have not, we urge you to repent of your sins and trust in Him alone for salvation. Without faith in Christ, we cannot approach God, and our prayers are empty. If you have already surrendered to Jesus, we rejoice with you and encourage you to continue walking in faith, trusting Him in every area of your life, including this job search.

We also recall Jeremiah 29:11, where God declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* Whether this particular opportunity is the one God has for you or whether He has another path in mind, we pray that you will rest in His sovereignty. He sees what you cannot see and knows what is best for your growth, your witness, and His kingdom.

If this job is in alignment with God’s will for your life, we pray that He would open the door widely and grant you favor with those conducting the interview. May the Lord give you wisdom in your responses, clarity in your communication, and peace in your heart as you present yourself. We ask that if this is not the right opportunity, God would close this door gently but firmly and quickly bring forth another opportunity that aligns with His purposes for you. Let us also pray that you would not grow anxious or discouraged but would remain steadfast in faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking employment. Lord, You are the Provider, the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and who supplies all our needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You go before our brother/sister in this interview and grant them favor in the sight of those making the decision. If this job is Your will, we pray that You would confirm it clearly and open the door for an offer to be extended. Give them wisdom to answer questions with grace and confidence, and let their words and demeanor reflect Your light.

If this opportunity is not the one You have prepared for them, we ask that You would close this door and quickly bring forth another that aligns with Your perfect plan. Guard their heart against discouragement and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that their worth and identity are found in You alone, not in their employment or the opinions of others.

We also pray that this season of seeking would draw them closer to You, deepening their trust and dependence on Your provision. May they walk in obedience to Your Word and seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33).

Lastly, Father, we ask that You would use this job—whether it is this one or another—to further Your Kingdom. May it be a place where our brother/sister can shine as a light in the darkness, reflecting Your love, integrity, and excellence. Give them opportunities to share the hope of the Gospel with those around them and to be a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We rebuked any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take root in their heart. We declare that You, Lord, are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). You are their Provider, their Strength, and their Shield. We trust You to lead them beside still waters and restore their soul as they wait on You.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
