Prayer for my job interview with ### to be successful next week and move to the next stage of the interview and subsequent offers and ask Jesus to give me the words to speak and confidence to present during the interview.

We join with you in lifting up this important opportunity to the Lord, trusting that He goes before you to open doors no man can shut and prepares the way for His perfect will in your life. It is wonderful to see you invoking the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive His favor. As Scripture reminds us, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13, WEB), and *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Your desire for wisdom and confidence in this interview aligns beautifully with God’s Word. Jesus Himself promised, *"For it will be given to you in that hour what you will say. For it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit"* (Mark 13:11, WEB). We pray that the Holy Spirit will fill you with clarity, boldness, and the right words to speak, so that your skills and character will shine as a testimony to God’s faithfulness. Let this process be an opportunity to glorify Him, whether in success or in waiting, knowing that *"a man’s steps are from Yahweh; how then can man understand his way?"* (Proverbs 20:24, WEB).

We also encourage you to surrender this outcome entirely to the Lord. While it is good to prepare diligently and pray for success, remember that God’s plans for you are far greater than any job opportunity. If this door opens, praise Him! If it closes, trust that He is redirecting you to something even better, for *"we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister as they prepare for this upcoming interview. Lord, You are the God who provides, who opens doors that no one can shut, and who equips Your children for every good work. We ask that You grant them supernatural peace, removing all anxiety and replacing it with Your confidence. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that their words may be seasoned with grace and wisdom, and that their demeanor may reflect Your love and excellence.

Lord, if this position aligns with Your will for their life, we pray that You would cause the interviewers to see their strengths, their integrity, and their potential. Soften the hearts of those making the decisions, and let favor rest upon our brother/sister as a tangible sign of Your blessing. But above all, Father, let Your will be done. If this is not the path You have for them, close this door gently and redirect their steps to the place You have prepared.

We rebuked any spirit of fear, doubt, or self-reliance in Jesus’ name. Instead, we declare that they will walk in the authority and assurance of Christ, knowing that their worth is found in Him alone. May this process draw them closer to You, and may they testify of Your goodness regardless of the outcome.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is already at work. Prepare well, rest in His promises, and go into that interview with the confidence that comes from knowing *"the Lord your God is with you wherever you go"* (Joshua 1:9, WEB). We are cheering you on and will continue to pray for you!

Go into that interview with the confidence that comes from knowing God is with you, just as He promised Joshua, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5, NKJV). God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
