We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is struggling with anxiety and mental health challenges, as well as the stress of learning difficult subjects like math. Father God, we know that You do not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We ask that You would calm the storms within this precious soul, replacing worry with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
Lord, we pray for clarity of mind and focus as this one studies. Your Word tells us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously to all without reproach (James 1:5). We ask that You would grant understanding and retention of these math problems, so that the burden of stress may be lifted. Help this one to cast all anxieties on You, for You care deeply (1 Peter 5:7).
We also rebuke the spirit of anxiety in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written that He came so that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this one is not defined by fear or mental struggles, but by the love and strength found in Christ alone. We pray for healing—spirit, soul, and body—so that this child of God may walk in the freedom and joy that You intend.
Father, we ask that You would surround this one with godly encouragement, wise counsel, and supportive believers who can speak life and truth into their situation. Remind them that they are never alone, for You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they find rest in You, knowing that Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30).
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who alone has the power to heal, restore, and renew. Amen.
