Please pray for our class

We join with you in lifting up your class before the Lord and we thank you for praying in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.
We understand how a transition like welcoming a new student can bring extra energy and chatter, and how disengagement can make it difficult for learning and peace to flourish. We pray that God will bring a spirit of calm, order, and unity to your classroom. For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace 1 Corinthians 14:33, and we ask Him to establish that peace among your students.
We pray together for each student, that the Lord would give them hearts that are attentive and self-controlled. We pray that the fruit of the Spirit would be evident among them, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control Galatians 5:22-23. We ask God to help those who are chatty to exercise self-control with their words, and those who are disengaged to find purpose and interest in what they are learning, remembering that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23.
We especially lift up the new student, that they would feel welcomed, accepted, and at peace, and that the class would show kindness and love to them as Christ has shown to us. We pray for you as their teacher, that God would grant you wisdom, patience, and strength, and that He would guard your heart with His peace which surpasses all understanding and will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.
We commit this class and your plans for them to the Lord, trusting His promise that commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3.
Father, we bring this class before Your throne of grace in Jesus name. We ask You to pour out Your peace upon this room, to calm every restless heart and to quiet every distraction. Help these students to settle down, to listen well, to respect one another and their teacher, and to engage with a willing spirit. Bless the new student with a smooth transition and true friendship, and knit this class together in unity and love. Give their teacher renewed energy, wisdom to guide them well, and joy in seeing them grow. Let this classroom be a place of order, learning, and grace that honors You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We ask the God of all peace, who sits in calm glory upon His eternal throne, to visit this classroom with order and quietness of spirit. May He still the restless talk and settle every wandering thought, that there may be a respectful attention given to what is good and needful. As it is written, This is my beloved Son, hear ye Him, so may these students learn to incline the ear and hearken with hearty and earnest attention, not only to instruction before them, but to the voice of the Lord Himself who says, Incline your ear and come unto Me, hear and your soul shall live.
We pray especially for the new student, that he or she may be kindly received and find a place of welcome and belonging among the others, and for the whole class, that their chattiness may give way to calmness and their disengagement may be turned to diligence. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
