Please pray for my friend ###, this is his picture in my profile. He loves the Lord, but he is in jail on charges related to credit card fraud in order to obtain money to buy drugs. He has accepted Christ, but cannot seem to find freedom from drug addiction. He has a beautiful daughter, and it would be great for him to have a relationship with her. He loves her very much. Please pray for his aching heart.

If he is truly wanting deliverance it's there for him to take. Do not let Satan place that lie on your lips...speak faith.....it is a battle with principalities in HIGH places...even some generational curses are in there...but God is the Victorious One in all battles..He is the Creator...of all things...good and bad...and He uses both to bring Himself glory...and to show that HE does not lie.....there is nothing to hard that He can not fix. There is a part in all this for your friend... what he needs to do....is obey God and to walk in faith which is accounted to him for righteousness then and only then can he enter into the holy of holies and lay his petition and cause before GOD Almighty..He becomes One with the Father through His Son Jesus Christ...there is no other way.... if he is an abuser and has tried in the past to get away from this evil...he knows about rehab and meetings and such..he NEEDS to become a doer of the Word and not just a hearer... .

God can deliver in an instant and he can make us "work" toward the goal...but lots of times, for reasons that HE only knows....deliverance can take some time....and with His grace and mercy we learn lessons from the place He seems to leave us in..which sometimes feels like where the prodigal son was...in lots of manure....it really is a "stinky" place to be....

He waits..... for US to bring HIM glory..just because He is God...He expects us to bring Him glory...because He says He will never leave us or forsake us...He sticks closer than a brother...Our Creator...the One true GOD....there is nothing that is too much for Him...He Created it ALL....not the other way around.....there is a price for deliverance...and that's your life...he needs to surrender...tell him to look into Teen Challenge..it's a long program...see if he wants to go? Lord open his mind and heart and lead him to deliverance in You...

You may think I'm a know it all...my husband struggles with drug addiction and God is moving in a mighty way...my husband struggles every day and is very vocal about his problem...it is not where it was..(thank You Jesus)...but he does slip now and again..and we pray and go to the Pastor and he does....what God tells him to and what our Pastor says...ask him if he wants to go to Teen Challenge...they really teach Jesus....
