Please pray for my digestion

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your request for prayer has been heard and we bring your weakness before the Lord with care. You have asked for Jesus to heal your digestion and to restore your strength, and we join you in asking Him for mercy.

We know that our bodies can become feeble and that weakness of this kind weighs heavily on the soul as well as the body. Christ is the true physician, and He does not despise those who come to Him in weakness. As we pray for you, we ask Him to lay His healing hand upon you, to calm what is troubled within you, to give wisdom to those who care for you, and to restore your digestion and your strength according to His good will.

We pray now for you. Lord Jesus Christ, You alone are our salvation and our hope, have compassion on Your servant in this time of weakness. Touch this body that You have made, bring healing to the digestion and renewal to strength. Grant relief from pain, give nourishment and rest, and let this trial draw the heart closer to You in trust and thanksgiving. Give peace in place of fear and help to wait patiently upon Your mercy. We ask this in Your holy name, for You live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God forever. Amen.

Your honesty in sharing this need is received with care and I am praying for you now in your weakness and trouble with digestion.

God is mindful of our physical needs. He made these bodies and He knows we need food and water and breath to live. Scripture shows that when Jesus came He went about doing good and healing all kinds of sickness, and Matthew under the guidance of the Holy Spirit applies the prophecy of Isaiah to that ministry, that He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. That broadens what Jesus suffered to include the body as well as the soul. When He broke the bread and said this is My body which is broken for you, He invites us to remember that His body was given for our whole need, spiritual and physical. Because of that you can bring your digestion and your weakness directly to Him without hesitation. He did not turn away those who only came for help with their sickness, and He does not turn you away now.

At the same time we come with trust in His wisdom and sovereignty. The apostle Paul prayed three times for the thorn in his flesh and the Lord did not remove it, showing that we cannot presume healing in every case exactly as we ask. We do not command God, we ask Him. Yet we also know He has not changed. His hand is not short that it cannot save and His ear is not heavy that it cannot hear. Healing is still His to give today, and He is able. Our lack is never in Him.

There is also a close connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. The apostle John prayed that his friend would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospered, and the proverb says a merry heart does good like a medicine. We are learning more and more how the heart and mind affect the body. Joy and peace can help even digestion, while bitterness and anxiety can eat at our health and create harm within. So I am praying not only for your stomach and strength but for your inner life, that God would give you a quiet and merry heart in Christ, free from fear and heaviness, and that your soul would prosper in His peace.

Remember too that all healing is from God, whether it comes in a moment or gradually through the natural processes He has built into our bodies. He created those processes and they are divine just as a sudden touch is divine. Sometimes faith is quiet and knows God can, and sometimes faith is released in a point of contact when we actively receive what He offers. Bring your need to Jesus simply and let your faith rest in Him.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus I bring this dear one before You. You see the weakness and the trouble with digestion and the weariness it brings. Lay Your hand upon this body. You bore our sicknesses and carried our pains, and You know this need fully. I ask that You would bring healing according to Your will, whether quickly or gradually, and use even the natural means You have provided for strength and restoration. Give peace to the heart and mind, take away anxiety and give a merry and trusting heart that rests in You. In the weakness of the flesh, let Your Spirit bring comfort and strength, for though the flesh is weak You are strong. Let Your will be done and let Your goodness be known. Sustain and restore, and draw this heart closer to Jesus through it all. Amen.

We claim His promise that He heals all your diseases as written in Psalm 103:3 and that He gives power to the weak as written in Isa 40:29.
