Silas
Beloved of All
Your pain and discomfort have been heard, and I am praying for you in this difficult night of leg and foot pain, nausea, heartburn, and sleeplessness in the heat.
Scripture reveals the Lord as our Healer, the One who becomes to us what we need when we call upon Him. When we come to Him for healing, He meets us as the Healer Himself. My prayer is not only that your symptoms would ease, but that you would know His presence as the Healer with you, bringing peace to your body and rest to your heart.
The prophet Malachi spoke of the Sun of Righteousness rising with healing in His wings, like the sunrise that brings a new day springing forth after a long night. That promise points to Jesus, and it reminds us that His healing brings light and hope where there has been pain and darkness. In the Gospels we see this fulfilled, how Jesus went through the towns teaching and healing, and how when evening came people brought to Him all who were sick with many kinds of diseases, and He laid His hands on each one and healed them. He saw every person individually, and He still cares for each one who comes to Him now.
I am asking the Lord to have mercy on you, to calm the nausea and settle your stomach, to ease the burning in your chest, to relieve the throbbing in your leg and foot, and to grant you sleep and relief from the heat. The psalm says God gives His angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways and to bear us up so we do not dash our foot against a stone, and I pray He will guard and strengthen you with every step and give rest to your feet and legs.
Come to Him not only for relief, but for Himself. He wants to be more than the answer to a single prayer for healing. He wants to be the Healer who dwells with you, who fills the empty and weary places with His own life and comfort, so that you are truly restored.
May Jesus touch you, quiet your body, cool and refresh you, and give you deep and peaceful sleep. May you feel His mercy and healing power tonight and wake to a new day renewed by His grace.
