We join you in lifting up your precious children before our heavenly Father and we rejoice with you that He is already answering prayer by drawing your daughter to Bible study. That is evidence of His faithfulness and His desire to draw each of us into a deeper relationship with Him.

We want to gently encourage you about where true confidence and self esteem are found. The world tells our children their worth is in how tall they are, how they look, or how well they perform in school, but Scripture teaches us our worth is in being fearfully and wonderfully made by God and being His children through Christ. Psalm 139:14 says I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. And Ephesians 2:10 reminds us For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. We pray your son and daughters will come to see themselves as God sees them, not through the mirror of comparison but through the truth that they are loved, chosen, and created with purpose. God formed your son exactly as He intended, and while we pray for his healthy growth and development, we pray even more that he grows strong in character and in Christ, knowing that his height does not determine his value.

For your daughters we pray for a confidence that is rooted not in self but in the Lord. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We pray against anxiety and discouragement and for mental health that is guarded by His peace. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray your daughters will learn to cast all their worries on Him, because He cares for them as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches.

We also pray for ambition and dedication in school and for college. Whatever calling God has for them, we pray they will pursue it heartily for His glory. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men and Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. May they seek first His kingdom and find direction for their studies and future in Him, trusting Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and brought into the family of God. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Him and to lead your children to do the same, for that is the foundation for every other blessing.

So we pray together now, Father in heaven, we thank You for these children and for this faithful parent who intercedes for them. We lift up this son to You, asking that You would bless his physical growth according to Your perfect will and cause him to grow in stature and in favor with You and with man, but above all to grow in the knowledge that he is Your beloved child and that his identity is secure in Christ. Heal any insecurity and replace it with godly confidence. For both daughters we ask that You quiet anxious thoughts, strengthen their mental health, and fill them with Your peace. Give them confidence not in themselves but in You, and give them diligence and joy in their studies. Kindle in them ambition that honors You, guide their steps toward college and vocation as You have planned, and keep them close to Your Word through Bible study and fellowship. Draw this whole family closer to Jesus every day, and let Your name be glorified in their lives. We ask all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you for your children. We hear how much you love each of them and how encouraged you are that your daughter is connecting at bible study. That is a real answer to prayer and we rejoice with you in it.

We understand wanting each child to feel confident and steady in who they are. One thing that has helped many parents is remembering confidence often grows not from telling kids to feel better about themselves, but from experiencing small, real accomplishments and knowing they are deeply loved and valued as they are. Your son, your college aged daughter, your younger daughter each have different places where that can happen, whether in school, friendships or faith.

It may help to keep noticing and naming specific effort you see, keep that bible study connection open for your daughter as she considers college, and for your younger daughter check in with her teachers or a school counselor if you notice her struggling with mood or confidence, so she has extra support alongside prayer.

We are praying for you as you encourage them day by day.

Father, thank you for these children and for this faithful parent. Give each child a deeper sense of being loved and made with purpose, and give them strength for school and next steps. Give their parent wisdom, peace and encouragement as they guide them. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for your children is heard, and we join you in it with thanksgiving. You have already seen the Lord's hand in bringing your daughter to Bible study, and that is a token for good that He who has begun a work will carry it on. We will pray with you and for you.

There is a true and a false confidence. The Scriptures teach us that in God's esteem we are accepted in the Beloved, while in our own esteem we may feel ourselves full of fault. The fairest in Christ are often those who think themselves the least, because they have more light to see their need of Him. We do not ask the Lord to give a fleshly self reliance, for every grain of self strength is weakness, but we do ask Him to give a holy confidence that rests not in self at all, but in Christ alone. That is the confidence which will stand in the school, in the college, and in all the trials of life.

For your son, we pray that the Lord, who formed his frame, would grant him health and growth according to His wise will, and far more, that he would grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. May he know himself to be made in God's image and, if he trusts in Christ, accepted and beloved, and may that knowledge be the ground of a quiet and steady heart.

For your daughters, we pray for that same work. For the one whom God has brought to Bible study, we thank God and pray He will give her ambition and dedication, not from mere self effort, but from love to Him who calls her to do all things heartily as unto the Lord. For your other daughter, we pray for diligence in her studies and for peace of mind. The Lord pitieth His children as a father pitieth his own, and He knows the heaviness that can press upon the young. We ask Him to lift that burden, to guard her mind, and to give her to see herself as one of the children whom the Lord has given, precious in His sight.

May you be encouraged to keep looking to Christ for them and for yourself. It is a great mercy when we tremble and feel our own insufficiency, for then we are driven to the One without whom we can do nothing, and in whom we can do all things. Continue in prayer, continue in the Word with them, and plead the promise that He will not chide us for our many mistakes, but will teach His children to walk step by step.

We pray now: O Lord our Father, look upon this family. Thou hast given these children, and Thou lovest them more than their parent can. Give to each child a true knowledge of Thy love in Christ Jesus, that their confidence may be in Thee. Grant health and growth as seemeth good to Thee, grant steadiness of mind, grant diligence and hope, and heal what is wounded within. Keep this parent also, lest in keeping the vineyards of others their own vineyard be neglected, and give grace to trust Thee day by day. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank you for sharing this request and for your faithful prayers for your children. We join you in bringing them before the Lord, who loves them more deeply than we can, and we rejoice with you that you have already seen answers as your daughter has been brought to Bible study.

We pray for your son, that God would grant him health in both soul and body, and that his self esteem would be firmly rooted not in appearance or height, but in knowing he is made in the image of God and loved through Jesus Christ. As Scripture teaches us not to judge according to appearance but according to what is true, we ask that he would see his worth as God sees it, and grow in strength, character and confidence that comes from virtue and faith.

We pray for your daughters, for confidence, peace of mind, and dedication in their studies. For the one preparing for college, we ask the Lord to give her ambition, diligence and clarity of purpose, and to guide her steps as she seeks to use her gifts well. For your younger daughter, we ask for steadiness in school, for renewed mental health and for a quiet confidence that helps her to do her best and to feel well. May the Lord guard their hearts and minds in Christ, and grant them joy and resilience to bear every trial.

We also pray for you as you raise them, that God would give you wisdom and encouragement to bring them up in the chastening and admonition of the Lord. True riches are not outward defenses but inward virtue, meekness, kindness and hope in heaven, and we ask that your home would be filled with that kind of strength.

Be assured that we continue to pray with you, with love and with hope in God's mercy and care. May He who hears prayer grant you peace as you trust Him, and may your children grow in faith, health and love for Him.

In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
