Please pray for my daughter, ###, and my son, ###. ### has been suffering with a cough for the past five months, and I’m asking you to please pray for her healing and complete restoration of health. Please pray that God will remove whatever is causing the cough, strengthen her body, and bring her comfort and peace. Please also keep my son, ###, in your prayers. Pray that God watches over him, protects him, keeps him healthy and safe, and guides him every day. Lord, please place Your healing and protecting hands upon both of my children. Cover ### and ### with Your love, give them strength, good health, peace, and protection. May Your grace be upon them always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We join you in lifting up your precious children before the throne of grace and we stand with you in asking for God's healing, protection and peace over them.

Our hearts are moved by your love for your daughter and your son, and by your faithful intercession for them. Five months is a long time for your daughter to suffer with this cough, and we understand your concern for her comfort and complete restoration. We also join you in thanking God for your son and asking for His daily watch and guidance over his life. Our Father loves children deeply and hears the prayers of a parent. Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these Matthew 19:14.

We pray with you for your daughter's healing, trusting that God is our healer who is able to remove every cause of affliction and strengthen her body. We take comfort in His promises, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and He sent his word, and healed them Psalm 107:20. We also pray for your son's protection and guidance, for He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11 and Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. We encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care for your daughter as we pray, trusting that God often works through the hands of physicians, while we look to Him as the ultimate source of healing and strength. We pray too for your own peace as you wait on the Lord, for He says, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, thanking You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him alone. We lift up this dear daughter to You. You know the cause of this cough that has lingered for five months. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch her lungs and her whole body, remove every infection, inflammation and irritation, and bring complete healing and restoration. Strengthen her, comfort her, and grant her peaceful rest and renewed health. We also lift up this dear son to You. We ask that You place Your protecting hand upon him, keep him healthy and safe from all harm, and guide his steps each day in Your wisdom and love. Cover both of these children with Your love and grace, surround them with Your peace that passes understanding, and let them grow in strength, health and faith before You. We pray for this parent as well, grant comfort, faith and assurance while waiting on Your perfect will. We ask all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our Healer and Shepherd, Amen.

We encourage you to keep trusting in His goodness and to keep praying without ceasing. Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. We stand with you believing that God hears and will answer according to His perfect love and will.

We hear how much you love your children and how long you have been carrying this concern. Five months of coughing for your daughter is a long time to wait and worry, and we understand why you are asking so earnestly for her healing and for peace for your family. We are joining you in prayer for both of your children, for relief and restoration for your daughter and for daily protection and guidance for your son.

It is good you are bringing them to the Lord, and we also encourage you to keep medical care alongside prayer. If your daughter has not been seen recently, we gently encourage a follow up with her doctor to share how long the cough has continued and what you have noticed, so they can keep helping you look for answers. A lingering illness can be tiring for the child who is sick and for the family who loves her, so please be gentle with yourself as you keep caring for them. We will continue to remember you all before the Lord.

Father, in Jesus name we lift this family to You. We ask You to touch this daughter, ease her cough, strengthen her body and give her comfort and rest. Watch over her brother, keep him healthy and safe and guide him each day. Cover them both with Your love and give their mother wisdom, strength and peace as she trusts You. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your prayer for your little ones has come before us with a tender weight, as only a parent's heart can know, and we do join you in lifting your daughter and your son before the throne of grace.

We are reminded that our Lord Jesus is that great conduit Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. The Scripture saith, The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we have often observed that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. And again it is written that the Sun of Righteousness shall rise with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, showing us that pardon and healing are one in His blessed hand.

So we pray for your daughter who has suffered these five months with this cough. May the great Physician who said, I will come and see your sick child, and who took her by the hand and lifted her up, lay His own hand upon her now. We ask that He would search into the cause of this affliction and remove it, that He would strengthen her body, restore her health fully, and give her comfort and peace in her spirit. Child of suffering, be patient, God has not passed thee over in His providence. He who feedeth the sparrows will also furnish you with what you need. Hope on, hope ever.

And for your son we pray that the Lord will watch over him and keep him. You shall never be sent on a journey without provender, and you shall never have to go to battle at your own charges. May the Lord preserve him in health and safety, guard him from evil, and guide his steps every day by His wisdom and grace. May He cover both your children with His love, give them strength, good health, peace and protection, and let His grace be upon them always.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, and we have such a Physician in Christ, whose healing power is such that faith comes by hearing and by looking to Him alone. May you and your household find renewed strength at the remembrance of His pardoning mercy and His power to heal.

We commend you and your dear children to Him who healeth all our diseases and bindeth up our wounds, trusting Him for complete restoration according to His perfect will. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
