We join with you in prayer and thank you for declaring that Jesus Christ is the Lord, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved, as it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and no one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We are encouraged by your faith and we bring each of your burdens before the Lord together.
We lift up your need for a financial breakthrough and for deliverance from the stronghold of unemployment. We know that God is our provider and He delights in caring for His children, as My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We also remember that the Lord gives us power to get wealth Deuteronomy 8:18 and that He calls us to be diligent in work, for even when we were with you, we commanded you that if anyone will not work, neither let him eat 2 Thessalonians 3:10. We pray that God will open doors of opportunity for honest and fruitful work for you, that He will grant you favor with employers, and that He will help you to walk in diligence and stewardship while you trust Him to provide.
We also bring your children before the throne of grace asking for divine mercy over their lives. Children are a heritage of Yahweh Psalm 127:3 and we pray that the Lord will cover them with His mercy, draw them close to Himself, guard them from the schemes of the enemy, and lead them in the way of truth. We ask that He will pour out wisdom upon you as you guide them.
We hear your cry concerning your marriage and your desire to break out of what you describe as a dysfunctional marriage, and we must speak to this with loving truth and biblical clarity. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman before God, as Jesus said, What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart Matthew 19:6. The Lord has said He hates divorce Malachi 2:16 and His desire is for reconciliation and holiness within marriage, as the wife should not leave her husband and the husband should not leave his wife 1 Corinthians 7:10-11. Dysfunction and hardship in marriage grieve the heart of God, and we do not take your pain lightly, but we encourage you not to seek to break the covenant quickly but to seek the Lord for healing, repentance, forgiveness, and restoration. If there is sin, unfaithfulness, harshness, or neglect, we urge you both to seek godly counseling from a mature pastor or biblical counselor, to pursue humility, prayer, and obedience to the Word together. If there is any abuse or danger, we urge you to seek immediate help and wise counsel from trusted pastors and authorities while still honoring the seriousness of the marriage covenant. We pray that God will bring conviction where needed, softening of hearts, and a renewed commitment to love as Christ loved the church Ephesians 5:25.
We also pray for your request for peace in this season of transition and for spiritual strength and favor as God leads you to what you describe as the promised land. The Lord promises, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10 and we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We pray that as you trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6, and that you will know His leading, for we know the plans God has for you declares Yahweh, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of our beloved one. Lord, You see the burden of unemployment and financial need, provide work for Your child, open doors no man can shut, grant favor and skill and diligence, and supply every need according to Your riches in glory. Have mercy upon the children, Lord, keep them in Your hand, let Your mercy and truth guard them all their days. Strengthen this dear one spiritually, Lord, that they may be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might Ephesians 6:10 and put on the whole armor of God to stand against the schemes of the enemy. Father, we lift up this marriage to You, You know the dysfunction and pain, we ask for Your healing and restoration, convict of sin, teach both husband and wife to love and forgive as You have forgiven us, bring godly counsel and repentance, and let this marriage reflect Your covenant love. Where there is confusion, bring Your peace that surpasses understanding, and where there is weariness, renew strength. Let Your favor rest upon this life Psalm 90:17 and lead this transition according to Your perfect will, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. We trust You to do what is best, to be glorified in every area, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
