Disciple of Prayer
URGENT PRAYER REQUEST — PLEASE PRAY FOR ME ### 1. I Am Terrified and Need Prayer My name is ###, and I am urgently asking for prayer. What I have been experiencing has become increasingly frightening and overwhelming. I feel surrounded by spiritual darkness, paranormal activity, witchcraft, demonic oppression, and what feels like **energy siphoning**. I have also developed a terrifying sense that my life may be in danger and that I may be approaching death. I am asking you to please pray for me urgently. Pray that God would protect my life, my mind, my body, my spirit, and my ability to discern what is truly happening. ### 2. The Feeling of Being Drained One of the most frightening parts of this experience is the feeling that something is draining me. I feel as though my energy, strength, peace, and ability to rest are continually being taken from me. I have experienced this as what I would describe as **energy siphoning**. My sleep has also become deeply disturbing. I have felt as though something is interfering with me while I sleep, leaving me frightened to close my eyes and wondering what I will experience when I wake up. Please pray that God would give me peaceful, uninterrupted sleep and restore whatever strength I feel I have lost. ### 3. My Family and the Feeling of Rejection I am also deeply troubled by what I perceive as the involvement of my family. I feel as though I have been heavily rejected and separated from my family, almost as though I have been spiritually and personally excommunicated. That rejection has made an already frightening situation feel even more terrifying because I feel increasingly alone. Please pray that God would bring truth, reconciliation, protection, and peace into my family situation. ### 4. Jacob and Esau — Genesis 27 Some of what I have experienced has reminded me of the story of **Jacob and Esau in Genesis 27**. The deception surrounding Isaac's blessing has caused me to fear that something similar could be happening in my own life—that something intended for me could somehow be misrepresented, taken, transferred, or manipulated. I do not want fear to control my understanding of Scripture or my circumstances, but the resemblance has been deeply disturbing to me. Please pray that God's purposes for my life cannot be stolen, manipulated, or taken from me, and that God would reveal the truth. ### 5. What I See Around Me I have also become frightened by things I have noticed within my community. I have seen candles placed on mailboxes and large containers of sweet tea left on front porches. I have interpreted some of these things as possibly resembling offerings to spirits. I understand that I may not know the true meaning behind these things, which is why I am asking for discernment rather than simply assuming I know what they mean. Please pray that God would help me separate what is genuinely happening from what I may be interpreting through fear. ### 6. Feeling Targeted I have felt increasingly singled out and targeted. I have experienced fears surrounding what I understand as a possible **“destiny swap,”** as well as what I have interpreted as rituals involving eating and sleeping, followed by attempts to “un-eat” and “un-sleep” me. Whether these experiences have a spiritual explanation or another explanation, they have become extremely frightening and exhausting. I feel as though I am constantly trying to understand something that I cannot see or fully explain. Please pray that God would protect me from harm and give me clarity about what is actually happening. ### 7. The Feeling That I May Die The most frightening part is the feeling that I may not make it out of this situation. I have an overwhelming sense that something is terribly wrong and that I may be close to death. It feels like a warning that I cannot simply ignore. I am asking believers to please pray for me as urgently as you can. Pray that God would preserve my life, calm my mind, protect me from anything that could harm me, and place trustworthy people around me who can help me. ### 8. A Prayer for Deliverance Father God, please have mercy on me. Jesus Christ, please protect me. If there is anything in my life that is not of You, expose it and lead me away from it. Break the fear, confusion, oppression, and exhaustion that I am experiencing. Protect my mind while I sleep. Restore my strength. Give me peace where I feel terror. Give me clarity where I feel confusion. Give me truth where I feel deceived. And give me discernment so that I do not mistake fear for truth or overlook something that genuinely needs attention. Please protect me from harm and guide me toward people who can help me safely. I am frightened, exhausted, and asking for help. Please pray for me.

We have heard your urgent cry and we are lifting you up before the Father together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank you for calling upon Jesus for mercy and protection, for there is power in His name and He alone is our deliverer and our refuge.

We want you to know that God sees your terror, your exhaustion, and your loneliness, and He has not abandoned you. You are not alone even when you feel excommunicated and rejected by family and surrounded by darkness. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and He promises to never leave nor forsake His children. We pray that you will feel His presence very near to you right now.

The fear you are describing is overwhelming, and scripture tells us clearly that fear does not come from God. 2 Timothy 1:7 says God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 1 John 4:4 reminds us that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. Whatever spiritual oppression, witchcraft, or demonic influence may be attempting to harass you, it is not greater than Jesus Christ who has already overcome the world. Isaiah 54:17 declares no weapon that is formed against you will prevail. James 4:7 tells us to be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, oppression, and torment that is coming against you, and we command it to leave you in Jesus name, for at the name of Jesus every knee must bow.

We also hear your deep exhaustion and the feeling of being drained and unable to rest, with disturbing sleep and fear of closing your eyes. God is your restorer and your protector in the night. Psalm 4:8 says in peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Psalm 121:7-8 promises Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 91:11 says for he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. We pray that God will cover your bedroom with His peace, give you uninterrupted and peaceful sleep, and restore your strength day by day. Isaiah 40:29 says he gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.

You mentioned feeling rejected and separated from your family, and we grieve with you over that pain. Rejection makes spiritual battles feel even heavier. We pray that God will bring truth and light into every family relationship, heal what is broken where it is His will, and surround you with trustworthy, godly people who will stand with you, believe you, and help you walk safely through this valley. If there has been misunderstanding or distance, we pray for reconciliation where possible, and where it is not safe or possible, we pray God will provide spiritual family and faithful community to uphold you. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

Concerning your fear about Jacob and Esau in Genesis 27 and the idea of a destiny swap or blessing being stolen, we want to encourage you with truth. God's purposes for your life cannot be stolen or manipulated by any person or spirit when you are in Christ. What God has ordained for you is secure in His hands. Jeremiah 29:11 says for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Romans 8:38-39 assures us that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Proverbs 19:21 reminds us there are many plans in a man's heart, but Yahweh's counsel will prevail. No ritual or deception can override the sovereign will of God over your life. We pray God will expose every lie and reveal His truth to you with clarity, so you will not mistake fear for truth.

We also hear your concern about what you see in your community, the candles on mailboxes and containers left on porches, and the fear that they are offerings to spirits, as well as the frightening thoughts about rituals involving eating and sleeping. We pray for sharp discernment for you. 1 John 4:1 tells us to test the spirits, whether they are of God. Much of what terrifies us can be magnified by exhaustion and fear, and the enemy loves to keep us in confusion and hypervigilance. Philippians 4:6-7 says in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that God will help you separate what is truly spiritual warfare from what is ordinary or misinterpreted through the lens of fear, and that He will give you wisdom to know what needs attention and what can be released to Him.

We are also deeply concerned by your overwhelming sense that you may be close to death and in danger. We pray urgently for God's protection over your life, your mind, your body, and your spirit. Psalm 34:7 says Yahweh's angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says but the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. We also urge you in love to not walk through this alone. Please reach out quickly to a trusted pastor, a mature believer, a counselor, or a safe family member or friend who can be with you in person, pray with you, and help you discern next steps for your safety and health. If you ever feel you are in immediate danger, please seek help right away from someone nearby you trust and from appropriate help in your area. God often delivers us through the hands of His people around us. We pray He will place those faithful people around you even now.

We encourage you to stay close to Jesus each day. Put on the whole armor of God described in Ephesians 6:10-18, by abiding in His Word, praying continually, worshiping, and speaking the name of Jesus aloud over your home and your night. Keep your eyes on Christ rather than on the darkness, for light overcomes darkness and darkness cannot overcome it. 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, and the next verses remind us to be sober and self-controlled, resisting the devil steadfast in faith.

We now pray together for your deliverance and peace.

Father in heaven, we lift this precious one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. Have mercy and draw near with Your perfect love that casts out fear. We ask You to place a hedge of protection around life, mind, body, spirit, and home. Let no weapon formed against this child of Yours prosper. We rebuke every work of witchcraft, demonic oppression, and spiritual darkness in the name of Jesus and command it to flee, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Cover this one with the blood of Jesus, station Your angels charge over every room and every hour of sleep, and let sleep be sweet and safe and uninterrupted. Restore strength, peace, and joy where there has been draining and exhaustion. Give clarity where there is confusion, truth where there is deception, and discernment to know what is of You and what is not. Heal family wounds, bring reconciliation where You will, and provide trustworthy people to walk alongside and give help and safety. Preserve life, calm the heart, and let Your purposes stand firm and unshaken, for You hold the future and no one can snatch Your children from Your hand. Fill this heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, and we trust You to act for Your glory and for good. Amen.

We hear how frightening and exhausting this has been for you, and how alone you have felt with it. Thank you for reaching out so honestly. We are standing with you in prayer right now.

What you describe sounds overwhelming, feeling drained, afraid to sleep, worried about your family, and trying to make sense of things you see around you while also fearing for your life. When fear and poor sleep build up, everything can start to feel connected and harder to sort through, which makes the terror even heavier. You do not have to carry all of these questions by yourself.

It would be a good next step to bring someone trustworthy into this with you in person soon. If you have a pastor or a mature believer you trust, please let them know how frightened you have been and how your sleep has been affected. And because you mention ongoing exhaustion, disturbed sleep, and fear that you may be close to death, please also reach out to your doctor or a counselor alongside prayer, so they can care for you and help you get support and rest.

We are praying for your safety, for peace in your mind and body, for reconciliation where there has been rejection, and for clear discernment to separate what truly needs attention from what fear may be magnifying.

Father, have mercy on our brother. In Jesus' name we ask You to cover him, calm his mind, guard his sleep, restore his strength, and surround him with trustworthy, safe people who will walk with him. Lead him to truth and peace and keep him in Your care. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We have received your urgent cry and we have carried it before the throne of grace, where God loves the mercy seat and meets those who seek Him there.

You describe terror, darkness, broken sleep, a sense of being drained, rejection from family, and a fear that your life is in danger. Such a weight is heavy indeed, and we do not take it lightly. We will pray for you as you have asked, that God would protect your life, your mind, your body and your spirit, and grant you discernment, peace and truth in Christ.

Hear first what the Lord says to the fearful. Again and again in Scripture He says, Fear not. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. Fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God. To fear is weakening and it dishonors the God who piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. It will be obedience to trust Him now. The promise stands, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. That perfect peace is not found by going round and round to find answers within ourselves or within fearful interpretations, but by staying the mind upon Christ and bearing our sorrow with Him. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even in the midnight of this world of care.

You speak of feeling drained and of sleep that has become frightening. Scripture says, So He giveth His beloved sleep. That is the sleep of a quiet conscience made right with God through faith in Christ, the sleep of security under His keeping. We will pray that the Lord will give you peaceful, uninterrupted rest and restore your strength. Seek Him at night as well as by day. Make your closet your refuge, commit your body and mind to His keeping, and ask Him to guard your thoughts when you lie down. If sleep remains deeply disturbed and you feel unable to rest or to function, we urge you also to seek help quickly from trustworthy people around you, a faithful pastor, a mature believer, and a medical professional who can care for your body and mind with wisdom. Do not remain alone with these fears. Let someone near you know how frightened and exhausted you are, so they can walk with you and help you seek care.

You speak of rejection and separation from your family, as though excommunicated. That loneliness makes every other fear sharper. We will pray for truth, protection and peace in your family, and for reconciliation where it is possible. Remember how Jacob feared to meet Esau, thinking his brother bloodthirsty, yet when he crossed the brook and committed his way to the Lord, he met his brother and he fell upon his neck and kissed him. God is able to turn the heart and to keep His people even when loved ones are far away. In Jesus keeping we are safe, and they are safe. Bring your family before the Lord, and ask Him to place faithful, wise and safe people around you now who can counsel you face to face.

You mention Genesis 27 and a fear that what God intends for you could be stolen or transferred by deception. Take comfort that God's purposes cannot be stolen by man or spirit. What He has decreed in mercy will stand. No destiny can be swapped apart from His sovereign hand, and no blessing that is yours in Christ can be taken by trickery. We are accepted in the Beloved, justified by faith, and have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Your inheritance in Christ is kept by Him who is able to keep that which you have committed unto Him. Pray that the Lord would reveal truth and settle your heart, not in fearful watching for hidden schemes, but in trusting His faithful promise.

You describe candles on mailboxes and containers left on porches, and you wonder if they are offerings. You have shown wisdom in saying you may not know their true meaning and that you desire discernment rather than assumption. We will pray that God gives you clarity to separate what is genuinely happening from what fear may be interpreting. Not every strange sight is a spiritual sign, and fear can make the mind to see meaning where there is none. Ask the Lord for a stayed mind, for wisdom from Scripture, and for counsel from grounded believers who can help you weigh what you see calmly and truthfully.

You speak of feeling targeted and of rituals involving eating and sleeping. Whether these are spiritual impressions, anxious thoughts, or other causes, the exhaustion and confusion are real, and Christ is sufficient for them. Our deliverance is not by our own power or by uncovering every hidden thing, but by the ransom God Himself has found. He has found a ransom in the blood of His Son. If you have not already, turn to the Lord Jesus Christ alone for salvation and deliverance, confessing your need and trusting His finished work. If there is anything in your life that is not of Him, any practice or influence that draws you toward darkness or the occult, turn from it fully and bring it into the light before a trusted pastor. He will bring you forth. He makes deliverance effectual.

You speak most urgently of a sense that you may die, that something is terribly wrong. We will pray earnestly that the Lord preserve your life, calm your mind, and guard you from harm. And because you feel your life may be in danger, we urge you in love to act now and seek immediate help. Tell a trusted pastor, family member, friend or counselor today where you are and what you fear. If you feel unsafe or unable to care for yourself, seek medical care or contact someone who can stay with you and help you get care without delay. God often places His protection and guidance through the hands of His people near us.

Let us pray for you now.

Father God, have mercy upon this soul who is frightened and exhausted. Lord Jesus Christ, Thou hast vanquished death and all its powers, and Thy blood whispers peace within. We ask Thee to cover this life with Thy protection. Keep this mind stayed upon Thee and keep it in perfect peace. Give this beloved sleep, quiet and secure under Thy wing. Restore strength where there is draining and weariness. Break fear, confusion and oppression. Give peace where there is terror, clarity where there is confusion, and truth where there is fear of deception. Guard from all that would harm body or soul. Expose what is not of Thee and lead away from it. Let no purpose of Thine be stolen or manipulated, for Thou art sovereign and Thou keepest what is committed to Thee. Grant discernment to see what is true and to not mistake fear for truth. Place trustworthy, wise and godly people near to give help, counsel and daily care. Bring peace within the family and draw near to the lonely. We ask this not by our merit but by the ransom Thou hast found, through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation. Amen.

Continue to look to Christ, to His Word, and to His people. Read the Scriptures daily, pray plainly and briefly when fear rises, and stay in fellowship with a faithful church where you can be known and helped. We are praying for you and we urge you to let a faithful pastor and a trusted helper know of this request today so they can care for you personally and continually.
