We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting you up in prayer as you prepare for this mission trip. First, we must address the name by which we pray—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Father God, we thank You for this opportunity to serve You and lift Your name on high. We pray for every detail of this trip, that You would go before and prepare the way. Lord, we ask that You bless the mind, voice, and presence of Your servant as they interpret for the leadership training. Grant clarity of thought, wisdom in speech, and a spirit of humility and excellence. May Your Word be proclaimed with power and authority, and may lives be transformed by the truth of the Gospel.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may seek to hinder this work. The Bible tells us, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that You will grant supernatural peace and confidence as they step into this role.
Lord, we also pray for favorable weather conditions—cool and comfortable—so that the presentation may proceed without distraction. We ask for complete healing, both physically and spiritually, so that Your servant may be at their best. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and grant supernatural favor with those they will encounter. May Your presence go with them, and may Your name be glorified in all that is said and done.
We pray for the team as well, that unity and purpose would mark their efforts. Bind them together in love and a shared mission to advance Your Kingdom. We also lift up the situation at the mission site, asking that You would move in power, softening hearts and preparing them to receive Your Word.
Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is by His blood that we have boldness to enter Your presence (Hebrews 10:19). May this trip be a testament to Your faithfulness, and may Your servant return with joy, having seen Your hand at work. Strengthen them, equip them, and send them forth with Your blessing. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
