We lift this young woman before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, for the Lord sees her tears even when no one else does. Your compassion for her is a reflection of Christ’s love, and we join you in praying that God would move mightily in her life.
Father, we ask that You would draw near to this precious daughter of Yours. If she does not yet know You as her Savior, would You open her heart to the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus Christ came to seek and save the lost, that He bore her sorrows on the cross, and that in Him alone she can find lasting peace and security? Comfort her in her distress, Lord, and let her experience Your presence as the God who collects every tear in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to convince her she is alone or unloved, for You have promised never to leave nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5).
We also pray for wisdom and boldness for this young man as he considers speaking to her. May his words be seasoned with grace, pointing her to Christ rather than himself. Let any interaction between them be guided by Your Holy Spirit, that it may bear fruit for Your kingdom. If it is Your will for them to walk alongside each other in faith, prepare their hearts for godly friendship or courtship, one that honors You and upholds the sanctity of marriage as a covenant between a man and a woman, as You designed (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31).
Lord, we ask that You intervene in her circumstances. Whether her struggles are relational, emotional, or spiritual, we trust that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Provide her with godly counsel, wise mentors, and the support she needs to walk in Your truth. Let her see Your faithfulness in tangible ways, that her hope may be anchored in You.
Above all, we pray that Your name would be glorified in her life. May she come to know the depth of Your love, the power of Your redemption, and the joy of surrendering her life to Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that she is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14).
In the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, we pray. Amen.
