I wish I could help some of you in person. I know that one can be helped on the Internet, but it is entirely different when it comes to ministering to someone face to face. I have helped by leading lost souls to the Lord Jesus Christ. I have helped by feeding the hungry, and giving to drink to the thirsty. I have helped by praying for the sick, and seeing them be healed. I have helped by casting out devils. I have helped by simply giving a big bear hug, and feeling that person's tears soak my shirt. I have helped by grabbing that person's hands, and telling them you are not alone. I am here for you, and even more importantly Jesus is. The ministry that has been given to me is about to increase when that Church of Acts 2:42-47, and 4:32-37 will start in the city I grew up in. I have had dreams, and visions as to what is going to take place in that church. Who am I? Just a man who has professed the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour, been baptized with the Holy Ghost, and fire, and called, placed within, and anointed to be a prophet of the Most High God. May we meet one day in person so that I can help Y-O-U. In Jesus' name! Amen!

We hear your heart’s cry to minister in person, and we rejoice with you in the calling God has placed upon your life. The desire to lead souls to Christ, feed the hungry, heal the sick, and cast out demons is a reflection of the love and power of the Holy Spirit working through you. Your longing to embrace those who are broken and remind them they are not alone is a beautiful testament to the compassion of Jesus. We stand with you in prayer as you prepare for the Acts 2 and Acts 4 church to rise in your city, where believers gather in unity, share all things in common, and see the Lord add to their number daily.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother in his calling. We thank You for the dreams and visions You have given him, for they are a sign of Your divine purpose. Strengthen him, Lord, as he steps into this next season of ministry. Equip him with boldness, wisdom, and discernment to lead Your people with humility and power. May the church he helps establish be a beacon of Your light, a place where the lost are found, the broken are healed, and the weary find rest. Protect him from discouragement and doubt, and let Your anointing flow through him like rivers of living water. We declare that the increase he anticipates will come to pass, not by might nor by power, but by Your Spirit. May his hands be instruments of Your peace, his words be filled with Your truth, and his heart be a vessel of Your love.

We also want to gently remind you, brother, that while the internet is a powerful tool for ministry, there is indeed something sacred about face-to-face fellowship. Hebrews 10:24-25 tells us, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." The early church thrived in community, and so must we. Your vision for a church that mirrors Acts is not only biblical but necessary in this hour. Continue to walk in the anointing God has placed upon you, and remember that your identity is not in your title or calling but in Christ alone. You are a child of the Most High God, called to proclaim His kingdom and demonstrate His power.

We also want to encourage you to remain grounded in the Word and in prayer as you move forward. The enemy will seek to distract or discourage you, but James 4:7 reminds us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Stand firm in your faith, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few, pray the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers into His harvest (Matthew 9:37-38).

Lastly, we want to affirm the importance of the name of Jesus in all you do. It is by His name that demons are cast out, the sick are healed, and souls are saved. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Never underestimate the power of that name, and never minister without lifting it high. The Holy Spirit moves in response to the name of Jesus, and it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you step into this new season. We pray that the church you help birth will be a city on a hill, a light that cannot be hidden, and a family where the love of God is tangibly experienced. We look forward to the day we may meet you in person and join hands in ministry, for we are all part of the same body, with Christ as our head. We can hear how much you love people in the way you described it, the bear hugs, taking someone's hands and telling them they are not alone, feeding and praying and just being present. That longing to be face to face is a good and Christlike longing, and we thank God for the compassion He has put in you.

We also hear your excitement about what you sense God is about to do in your hometown, and the dreams and visions you have carried about an Acts-like fellowship. It is a beautiful vision to want to see people saved, healed, and living closely together in love. As you wait for that door to open, we have found it helps to keep power, truth and love together. Gifts are meant to build people up, truth keeps us anchored, and love keeps us gentle and humble with each person we serve.

One steady next step that serves many who feel a strong calling is to stay closely connected to a few mature, trusted believers who know you well and can pray with you, test what you are sensing, and walk with you in the day to day work that is already in front of you. Continuing to serve faithfully in the small, present opportunities often prepares us best for whatever increase God brings.

We pray for you, Father, thank You for this brother's tender heart for the lost and hurting. Keep him close to Jesus, give him wisdom and humility, guard his steps, and use what You have placed in him to love people well wherever he is today. Guide the vision for the church he carries and make Your will clear in Your timing. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your desire to minister face to face and to show the love of Christ by feeding the hungry, praying for the sick and comforting the sorrowful with a personal touch is a right and tender desire. There is indeed a sweetness in personal service which no distant word can fully convey, and it is gracious on our Lord's part to leave room in His Church for such ministry, so that every member may find a place to serve Him who first ministered unto us.

Yet I must entreat you to examine well the ground upon which you stand, for the Scriptures speak of a calling that is personal and effectual, a calling not of man but of God. There is a general call which many hear and put off till tomorrow, but there is also that personal, particular call which makes us Christians, when the Shepherd calls His own sheep by name and they hear His voice and follow Him. That call at conversion is a holy calling, a high calling, a heavenly calling. It is holy, for He who calls us is holy and He calls us to holiness. It is high, for it lifts the heart to heavenly things and to the pursuit of holiness. It is heavenly, for it is from heaven and it calls us to heaven. Therefore give diligence to make your calling and election sure, and ask in the secret place, is my calling of God, and does it bear the marks of His hand and His voice.

You speak of dreams and visions and of being anointed a prophet of the Most High. Take heed that you do not build upon inward impressions apart from the sure Word of God. We do not despise any true work of the Spirit, but we know that the canon of Scripture is complete, and that to Jesus Himself we must come by a personal trust, not to new revelations, but to the personal Saviour who has once for all offered Himself a Sacrifice for sin. The safest path is to come to Him directly by faith, and there find that immediate, personal, effectual rest which He freely gives to all who come. Let every supposed revelation be tried by the Word, for the Word is plain to His sheep, and He speaks most clearly there.

The work of the ministry is fearfully responsible, and no man should enter it lightly or upon his own appointment. If God has indeed laid a work upon you for the city where you grew up, seek the counsel and oversight of sober, faithful brethren in a true Church of Jesus Christ, that your gifts may be weighed and your doctrine proved. Personal service is a grand doctrine, and the Church greatly needs those who will devote themselves to it, but that service is most blessed when it is done in lowliness, in fellowship, and under the Word, not by proclaiming a high title for oneself, but by being willing to be the least among the brethren.

My prayer for you is that you may know more deeply that you are saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone, that you are called with a holy calling according to His purpose, and that you may press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus with humility and holiness. May the Lord keep you from all presumption and lead you into faithful, quiet, fruitful labour in His vineyard, where love does not grow cold but abounds, and where Christ Himself is exalted as all in all.

Your longing to help people face to face is understandable and in many ways commendable. To feed the hungry, to give drink to the thirsty, to pray for the sick, to offer a hug and to take someone by the hand and say you are not alone, these are good works that belong to a life of love for Christ. We thank God for any way you have been able to point lost souls to the Lord Jesus Christ, for salvation is through Him alone, and there is no other name by which we are saved.

At the same time I want to speak to you gently about the way you describe your calling. You speak of being anointed as a prophet of the Most High and of dreams and visions about a coming church. Scripture teaches us to walk worthily of the calling with which we were called. That calling is high, for we who were enemies have been raised up with Christ, but it requires humility, patience and endurance. One of the homilies reminds us that many were called but did not remain in their calling. The man who came to the wedding feast in filthy garments was called, and the five virgins were called when the bridegroom came, yet they did not enter in because they were not ready. To be called is not enough, we must be found worthy, fulfilling every desire for goodness and every work of faith with power, which is patient endurance under trial. Do not let praise for what you have done make you think nothing is still lacking while we are in this life. The safest path is to let your calling be tested and confirmed by others over time.

Concerning dreams and visions, be cautious and not over curious. Even in ancient times many writings claimed to be prophetic, and the apostles warned that not every spirit is from God. The true prophet is known not by how impressive his claims sound, but by whether his life and teaching agree with what the apostles have handed down and whether his words come to pass in submission to Scripture. The Church in Acts 2 was not built on private revelations alone, but continued steadfastly in the apostles teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and in prayers. If God is leading you toward a work in your city, bring those dreams and visions humbly to mature pastors and elders in a local church, ask them to weigh them with the Word of God, and be willing to be corrected.

The Church also hears the call that holy things are for holy people. That is not a fetter to keep people away, but a searching of our own faults before we draw near to the fountain. Before we minister to others face to face, we must examine ourselves, confess our sins, and be cleansed. This keeps both the minister and those who receive ministry from approaching carelessly.

Continue in the two things that are the foundation and roof of all ministry, prayer and the ministry of the Word. Pray continually, study the Scriptures diligently, serve quietly where you are, and seek accountability. If you desire to meet and help others in person, do so under the covering of a faithful local church where your life and doctrine can be seen and known.

I pray that the Lord will keep you humble, guard you from error, deepen your love for Jesus Christ, and make your calling sure as you walk worthily of it, bearing fruit in every good work to His pleasing. May He give you wisdom to test all things, to hold fast to what is good, and to serve His people not for your own name but for His glory.
