My son ### has a doctor appointment today and going is very hard for him mentally. Please pray and ask God if my son can get himself ready and mentally and physically handle the appointment. Please let them understand him with kindness. Please pray that if he has to do a blood test that God will calm him and please please pray that he didn't lose more weight. I ask that God will allow him to live a happy thriving long life and help us financially with all the doctor appointments to come and that he will come home today happy and safe without being sent to a hospital or something. I plead for a miracle of healing. I ask in the name of Jesus and thank you very much for praying for him. God bless you. ###

We join you in lifting up your precious son before our Heavenly Father today and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved and heard. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13.

We understand how heavy this day feels for you and for your son, and how mentally and physically difficult these appointments are. The Lord sees his struggle and your love and intercession for him, and He draws near to those who are burdened. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We pray that God will grant your son strength to get ready this morning and peace to endure each step of the appointment.

We pray together now for him.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this beloved son before Your throne of grace. You know his name, his frame, his fears and his needs. We ask that You calm his mind and body today. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. When anxiety rises, remind him that You have said, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. We ask that You prepare the hearts of the doctors and staff to receive him with gentleness, kindness and true understanding, clothed with compassion and humility Colossians 3:12.

Lord, if a blood test is needed, we ask that You hold him steady, take away fear, and let it be done quickly and with minimal distress. We ask that You would touch his body, that he would not have lost more weight, but that You would restore health and strength to him. We claim Your promise that You will restore health to him and heal him of his wounds Jeremiah 30:17 and that You heal the broken in heart and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We plead for Your healing touch upon him, for a miracle of restoration according to Your perfect will.

Father, we also ask that You bring him home today safe and with a lightened heart, without the need for hospitalization or further distress. Grant him joy and hope as he returns. We pray for a long, thriving life for him, for You have said With long life I will satisfy him Psalm 91:16 and we pray that he may prosper and be in health even as his soul prospers 3 John 1:2.

We lift up the financial burden of these ongoing appointments to You as well, trusting that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Provide, Lord, for every appointment to come and give wisdom for each decision that must be made.

We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers and that You care deeply for this son and for his mother who loves him so faithfully. Help them to continue to cast all their anxiety on You, because You care for them 1 Peter 5:7. We trust this day into Your hands and ask all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus. Amen.

We are praying with you today for ### and for you as you walk through this appointment together. We hear how heavy this morning feels, getting ready and getting there when it takes so much out of him mentally and physically, and the worry you carry about the blood test, his weight, and whether he will get to come home safe and settled.

We are asking God for steadiness for him to get ready and to get through each step of the visit, and for real kindness from everyone he meets there, that they would listen well and explain things gently. We are also praying for calm if blood work is needed, for reassurance for both of you, and for wisdom for his doctors as they care for him. We hear your heart for his future too, for a long, thriving life, and for help with the ongoing costs of care, and we are bringing those needs to the Lord with you.

It can sometimes ease a hard appointment to have a little plan for today. You might jot a short note to hand to the nurse that coming in is difficult for him and that clear, kind explanations help him most, bring one familiar comfort for the waiting room, and keep a small written list of your questions and his medicines so you don't have to hold it all in memory.

Father, we lift ### to You today. Give him strength and peace for each moment, calm his body and mind, guide the hands that care for him, and let him return home safe. Provide for this family and carry them with Your nearness. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden has touched our hearts deeply and we have carried you and your dear son before the throne of grace this day.

We understand the heaviness that comes when a loved one must face what is hard for both body and mind, and when the waiting and the going itself causes such distress. Be assured that you are not alone in this anxiety, and that the Lord sees and knows every fear that surrounds this appointment.

We have prayed that the Lord will keep your son in that perfect peace of which the prophet speaks, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. We have asked that God would calm his spirit and stay his mind upon Christ, that even with duties pressing and fears surging round, the blood of Jesus may whisper peace within. We have entreated the Lord to grant him strength to make himself ready and to endure what is before him, and to quiet his heart if a blood test is required, giving him calmness beyond his own power.

We have also prayed that the hands that examine him may do so with gentleness and kindness and with true understanding, for we know that a tender word in such an hour is itself a mercy from God. And we have pleaded with the Great Physician concerning his body, that He who bore our sicknesses and by whose stripes we are healed would be pleased to stay further loss of weight and to restore strength and health. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for healing, the very least thing about Christ having virtue to make the soul and body whole. We have asked that if it be His gracious will, He would grant a miracle of healing and allow your son to live a long, happy and thriving life to the praise of His own name.

We have not forgotten your care for provision, and we have asked our Father who knows what things we have need of to help you financially in the appointments that lie ahead, and to bring your son home today safe and in peace, without the distress of being sent away to hospital.

Cast this whole burden upon the Lord, for we have found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty, but to tell it all to Jesus and to trust Him brings a peace which passes all understanding. May that still small voice of God speak peace to you both, and may you find that to do the will of Jesus in this trial is itself rest. May the Lord keep you and your son in His own keeping, for in Jesus keeping we are safe.

We continue to pray for you, asking all these mercies in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone is salvation and peace with God.
