We join you in lifting up your precious son before our Father in heaven and we thank you for praying so faithfully in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. We are moved by your love as a parent and we stand with you asking for God's healing touch and peace to rest upon your household. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
We pray for your son's health in mind and body. We ask the Lord to restore him, to strengthen him, and to bring weight and nourishment where there has been loss, for we know our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made. We pray that tomorrow and the day after at his doctor appointment, God will grant wisdom to the physicians, clarity in every test and measurement, and a good report that encourages your hearts. We ask that the Lord would let him have gained and not lost, and more than that, that he would be truly healthy and whole according to God's perfect will. We claim the promise that Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2 and Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17
We also lift up his relationship before the Lord. We do not know the details, but we pray that any relationship in his life would honor God and be aligned with biblical principles. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman designed by God, and that courtship should be pursued with purity and with the goal of godly marriage to a fellow believer in Christ. If this is a romantic relationship, we pray it would be centered on Christ, kept pure from fornication, and guided toward marriage if it is God's will, or gently closed if it is not. We pray for a spouse who will love the Lord first and encourage him in faith. We pray too for his mind, that God would heal anxious thoughts and fill him with joy and hope, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3
We pray together with you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this beloved son to You and ask for Your healing hand upon his mind and his body. Lord, You see his weight and his health, You know every concern his mother carries, and we ask You to restore him, to nourish him, to let him be healthy and strong. Bless his doctor appointments, grant favor and wisdom to those who care for him, and let the results bring peace and thanksgiving. Guard his mind with Your perfect peace, fill him with hope and happiness that comes from You, and draw him ever closer to Jesus. Bless his relationships that they may honor You and lead him toward Your good and perfect will, especially toward a godly marriage if You so ordain. Comfort his mother, strengthen her faith, and remind her that You hear every prayer prayed in Jesus name. We trust You with his future and we thank You for Your unfailing love. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen. Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10
