Please more strong prayers

There is something really hard that I have to do for my son ### today and please pray that if it is God's will it will go ok and he will be happy and please pray that at his doctor appointment tomorrow he has gained weight rather than lose weight. I am so worried. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thank you and God bless you. ###

We are joining with you in prayer for you and your son today and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are heard.

We hear the worry in your heart as you face this hard thing you must do for your son today, and as you look ahead to his doctor appointment tomorrow. We want to encourage you to cast that worry fully on the Lord, for He loves both you and your son more deeply than we can comprehend. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Also 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We know God sees your son, He formed him and He cares for his health and happiness. Psalm 55:22 says, Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. And Isaiah 41:10 says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear parent and her son to You. Lord, You know the hard thing that must be done today, You know every detail and every fear. We ask that if it is Your will, You would make the way smooth, that You would give this mother wisdom and strength and gentleness, and that You would guard her son's heart and let him be at peace and even happy through it. Let Your will be done and let Your perfect love cast out fear. We also bring his doctor appointment tomorrow before You, Father. You are the Great Physician. We ask for Your mercy and healing hand upon his body, that the scales would show healthy weight gained and not lost, that he would be nourished and strengthened. Jeremiah 30:17 says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We ask for good news at that appointment and for wisdom for the doctors. Above all, comfort this worried heart, Lord, and fill this home with Your peace that passes understanding. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and our hope, amen.

We hear how heavy these next two days feel for you, and how much you love your son. Wanting that hard thing today to go gently for him, and carrying worry about tomorrow's weigh-in, is a lot to hold at once.

We are praying with you that as you do what you need to do today, your son would feel safe and loved through it, and that you would have clear wisdom and steadiness in the moment. It can help to have a simple plan for today, even just thinking ahead about what might comfort him afterward and who can support you both once it is done.

For tomorrow, it may ease some of the worry to go in prepared to get the most from the appointment. You could jot down your questions and any notes about his eating and how he has been doing lately to share with the doctor, and bring someone with you if you can so you are not carrying the information alone. Alongside prayer, staying closely connected with his care team is the best way to watch over his health.

Father, we lift this mother and her son to You in Jesus' name. Give her peace and wisdom for what she must do today, and surround her son with Your comfort so he feels secure and happy. Be with them at the doctor appointment tomorrow, guide the doctor's care, and give this mom Your calm whatever the scale shows. We trust them to Your loving hands. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and your burden is felt, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. What time we are afraid we are to trust in Him, and there is no sweeter refuge than the shadow of His wings.

You have a hard thing to do for your son today, and a weight of care about tomorrow. Hear this word for your comfort, you go and do the right thing and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. He is the God that performs all things for you, and He will sooner send help from Heaven than suffer His child to be left without succor. Where He begins to work He does not ask us to finish, He always completes His own work, and those that have trusted in God find Him to be as real as if they could see Him.

Let us pray together.

O God most high, unto whom we cry, be merciful unto us. Thou knowest this mother’s heart and this child whom Thou hast made. We lay before Thee the hard duty of this day, that if it be Thy will it may go well and in peace, and that Thy hand may be upon this dear son to keep him and to give him happiness in Thy will. We bring before Thee also the appointment tomorrow, and we ask Thee to look with compassion upon this child’s body, that Thou wouldst grant strength and nourishment and such increase as is needful for health. Thou seest every sparrow and hast numbered every hair, Thou art not far from any one of us. Give to this anxious heart a holy boldness to say, my soul trusts in Thee, and a sweet repose to rest in Thy mercy and Thy truth. Let faith rise as prayer is offered, and let love to Thee grow as trust is exercised. All this we ask not for our worthiness but through the blood of Jesus Christ Thy Son, who poured out His life that sinners might be saved and who ever lives to make intercession for us. Amen.

Take God at His word and believe Him, for He cannot fail the soul that trusts in Christ. Continue to cry unto Him, and be assured that He hears you and will do that which is best.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
