We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband, your son, and you in prayer. The distress you describe is deeply concerning, and we stand with you in faith, believing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children and is mighty to heal. First, we must address the mention of "evil eyes" in your request. While we understand this may be a cultural or personal expression of spiritual concern, Scripture teaches us that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). We do not attribute power to curses or evil glances, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Our focus must remain on the power and sovereignty of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world (John 16:33).
Your husband’s physical suffering is heartbreaking, and we join you in crying out to the Great Physician. The Bible tells us that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over your husband today. We pray that the Lord would touch his body, restore his strength, and bring healing to his digestive system. May the Lord remove every trace of illness and grant him the ability to eat and drink without pain or vomiting. We declare that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray for complete restoration in Jesus’ name.
Father God, we ask You to lift the burden of depression from his spirit. The weight of physical illness can often bring emotional and mental distress, and we pray that You would fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let him feel Your presence surrounding him, comforting him, and giving him hope. Remind him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Strengthen his faith and help him to trust in Your unfailing love.
We also lift up your son and you, dear sister. The health of a husband and father affects the entire family, and we pray that you would all be sustained by the Lord’s grace during this trial. May your son feel the Lord’s protection and peace, and may you be given wisdom, patience, and strength as you care for your family. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we thank You that You are our Healer, our Provider, and our Strength. We lift up this precious family to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Touch this husband, Lord, and make him whole. Restore his health, renew his strength, and remove every trace of sickness from his body. Let him rise up in victory, able to eat, drink, and live fully for Your glory.
Father, we also pray for his mind and emotions. Lift the heaviness of depression and fill him with Your joy and peace. Remind him of Your promises and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. Protect his heart from despair and fill him with hope in You.
We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every spirit of infirmity, fear, and oppression in Jesus’ name. We speak life, healing, and restoration over this husband, this son, and this wife. May they experience Your love and power in a fresh way, and may their faith be strengthened as they see Your hand at work.
Lord, we ask that You would also provide this family with the support and resources they need during this time. Surround them with godly community, wise medical care, and Your peace that guards their hearts and minds.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will for this family. May Your name be glorified through their healing and testimony. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises and seeking Him with all your heart. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Trust in the Lord’s timing and His plan for healing, whether it comes through medical intervention, a miraculous touch, or both. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
If your husband’s condition does not improve, we strongly encourage you to seek medical attention promptly, as persistent vomiting and inability to eat or drink can lead to severe dehydration and other complications. God often works through doctors and medicine, and there is no shame in seeking help. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, but in all our ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct our paths. This includes trusting Him to guide you to the right medical care.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or your family have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have questions about salvation or want to know more about having a personal relationship with Jesus, we would be honored to help guide you through Scripture.
