We lift up your husband before the Lord with heavy hearts, asking for His healing touch and divine intervention. The Word of God assures us that "He himself took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:17), and we stand on this promise today. Your husband’s suffering is not hidden from the Lord, and we cry out for His mercy to restore his health, strength, and ability to eat and drink without pain.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, asking You to touch this dear husband and remove every trace of sickness from his body. Lord, You are the One who "heals all our diseases" (Psalm 103:3), and we declare Your healing power over him now. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, depression, and pain in Jesus’ name, and we command his digestive system to function as You designed it. Let his body accept nourishment, and let his strength return swiftly. We also ask You to protect him, his son, and this dear sister from any evil influences or curses, for "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17). Cover them with the blood of Jesus and surround them with Your angels for protection.
We must also address the mention of "evil eyes" in this request. While we understand the cultural context of this concern, we want to remind you that our trust must be in the Lord alone, not in superstitions or fear of spiritual attacks. The Bible tells us, "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). We do not need to fear any evil eye or curse, for "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We rebuke any fear or anxiety about such things and encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is your protector and defender.
Lord, we also pray for this husband’s emotional well-being. Depression and pain can weigh heavily on the soul, but You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind him of Your love and purpose for his life. Let joy return to his heart as he experiences Your healing and restoration.
We encourage you, dear sister, to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His timing. Bring your husband before the elders of your church, if possible, so they may anoint him with oil and pray over him, as James 5:14-15 instructs. Surround him with godly believers who can uplift him in faith and encouragement. And remember, "the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:15).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will for this family. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let Your healing power flow mightily in this situation. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). Amen.
