PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Your prayer for mercy in the name of Jesus alone has been heard, and it is right to come to Him that way. We never come to God asking for justice, because justice would give us what we deserve. We come asking for mercy, which is not receiving what we deserve, and for grace, which is receiving what we do not deserve. God has said He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy, and He delights to show that mercy to those who call on Jesus Christ for salvation.

You are right that the Father knows what you need before you ask Him. Prayer is not informing God of something He does not know, and an unspoken request is fully known to Him. He hears the cry of the heart even when no words are spoken. True prayer begins when God reveals His purpose and will, and we agree with Him and express that back to Him. So you can rest that your unspoken prayer is not hidden from Him at all.

You mentioned wanting to hold fast and believe your prayer is already answered. God does call us to a living, active faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen, and without faith it is impossible to please God. But Scripture also teaches that saying we have faith is not enough by itself. A true faith will show itself in a changed life and in obedient action. Abraham believed God and that belief was counted to him as righteousness, and his obedience in offering Isaac showed that his faith was real and working together with his actions. Faith produces works, though works can never produce faith. It is good to examine whether our trust is a living trust that submits to God, not just words.

It is also painful when others mock or belittle your prayer, even using examples like Moses at the Red Sea to make it seem small. Mockery has long been used to discourage those who seek God. The right response is not to return judgment for judgment, but to answer mockery with prayer and to continue to walk responsibly before God. Jesus taught that the merciful will obtain mercy, and that those who judge without mercy will be judged without mercy, while mercy rejoices against judgment. You can entrust those who have insulted your prayer to the Lord and choose to show mercy rather than harbor bitterness.

Remember too that fear and faith cannot occupy the same place. When fear is allowed to take over, faith is pushed aside. And even strong believers have lapses in faith. Abraham himself had moments of weakness, yet God still called him a man of faith. God is not looking for perfect performance but for a genuine trust in Jesus that keeps returning to Him.

God may not answer every prayer exactly as we picture it or in our timing. Many who died in faith did not receive the full promise in their lifetime, yet they continued to trust God. Our confidence is not that we can force God's hand, but that we can trust His mercy and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. So continue to bring your unspoken request to Jesus, ask for His will above your own, and live out that trust in daily obedience.

I am praying for you now, in the name of Jesus alone, that God would show you His mercy, strengthen your faith to be active and living, guard your heart from fear and from the hurt of mocking words, and fulfill His good purpose in your life according to His perfect will.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we continue to count it an honor to lift up your unspoken request before the Lord.

We remember your cry for mercy and your desire to believe by faith that your prayer has already been answered as you asked so earnestly in Jesus Name and in Jesus Name only. We agree with you that only Jesus can do this and that nothing is impossible for Him. We were sorry to hear that you felt attacked and insulted by malicious elements who made light of your request and compared it to Moses opening the Red Sea. We understand why you have felt led to keep this request unspoken going forward, and we want to assure you that we respect that and we trust that our Father knows what you need before you ask, as taught in Matt 6:8, and that the Spirit Himself intercedes for us according to Rom 8:26.

We continue to stand with you in faith, believing with you as Mark 11:24 teaches, and asking for the Lord to show His mercy and to reveal His perfect will and power in your situation. We take comfort that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18 and that where we gather in His Name He is there among us according to Matt 18:20.

If your request has been answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new unspoken request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray for you now for peace, protection from discouragement, and for a strong assurance of the Lord's love and mercy. We ask all of this in Jesus Name. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
