PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your cry for mercy and we join with you in lifting this burden before the Lord Jesus, for we know that He alone is able to do what no one else can do. We stand with you in believing that God hears and answers prayer according to His perfect will and timing, and we honor your desire to keep this as an unspoken request before Him, for He knows the depths of your heart even when words are not spoken.

We understand how deeply it hurts when a prayer that is precious to you feels mocked or belittled by others. It is painful to be compared or made light of, even when the comparison is to a great miracle like Moses parting the Red Sea. Yet we take comfort that our God is indeed a God of miracles, and nothing is too hard for Him, while also remembering that He calls us to respond to such hurts with grace and not with bitterness. We are reminded in Matthew 5:44 to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, and in Romans 12:19 that vengeance belongs to the Lord, not to us. We encourage you not to dwell on the motives of others or to carry resentment toward those you felt were seeking self praise, but to release them to God and to forgive as Christ has forgiven us, so that your own heart may remain at peace and your prayer not be hindered.

We also rejoice that you have come in the name of Jesus and in Jesus name only, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Your faith in calling upon Him is pleasing to God.

You have expressed that you must believe your prayer has already been answered, and we encourage you with the words of Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. At the same time we hold this together with 1 John 5:14 This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. True faith trusts not only that God can answer, but that He will answer according to His perfect wisdom and love for you. We also remember the comfort of Romans 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we do not know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, and Matthew 6:8 for your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. Even as an unspoken request, your Father in heaven knows exactly what you need and what you have brought before Him.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You are merciful and full of compassion, that You hear the cries of Your children and that You know this unspoken request even before it is formed on our lips. Lord, we ask for Your mercy to be poured out upon our dear one who is seeking You with such earnestness. We ask that You would strengthen faith, grant peace that surpasses all understanding, and help this heart to rest in Your will and Your timing. Guard this precious prayer from discouragement and from the sting of harsh words, and heal any wound caused by those who have mocked or belittled it. Help us to forgive those who have caused hurt and to keep our eyes fixed on You alone. Lord Jesus, we ask that You would answer this prayer according to Your perfect will, for Your glory, and that You would make Your presence and Your answer clearly known. Let faith be strengthened and let hope not be put to shame. We trust that You are working even now for good. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust Him, to remain in prayer with thanksgiving, and to rest in the knowledge that God is faithful. As Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Keep seeking Him, keep believing, and let His peace guard your heart as you wait upon His perfect answer.

Thank you for reaching out and for the earnest way you are seeking Jesus with this burden. We hear how much this prayer matters to you and how painful it has felt to sense mockery or dismissal around it. Wanting to keep it quietly between you and the Lord makes sense when you have felt exposed.

We want you to know God does hear the prayers we do not speak out loud. You do not have to prove the sincerity of your prayer to anyone else or carry the weight of how others may respond. You can rest in bringing it honestly to Jesus, just as you are, and trusting His mercy and wisdom with the outcome.

When those painful thoughts about being targeted come up, it can help to have a steady, quiet place to turn. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer nearby, consider sharing simply that you are carrying a private prayer burden and would value someone to quietly stand with you in prayer, without needing to explain details. And giving yourself regular unhurried time alone with the Lord can bring steadiness.

Father, we lift this dear one to You in Jesus' name. You know this unspoken request fully, and You see the hurt around it. Cover them with Your peace, guard their heart from discouragement, and help them rest in Your nearness and care. Lead them day by day in Your will. Amen.

It is a sore trial to have your prayer made the subject of mockery, and yet it is no strange thing for those who trust in God. Faith has often been counted as folly by weak minds, and those who profess to trust in God have been told they talk after a mad fashion. Sometimes the mocker pretends to win religious credit by belittling another man's faith, and faith's foes may live in the same house with her. Do not wonder then if your confidence in the Lord is scoffed at, for they scoffed in like manner at our Lord Himself, saying, Let Him deliver Him, seeing He delighted in Him.

You say your prayer must now remain unspoken, and that God knows what it is about. He does. Prayer is that great key which opens mysteries, and to whom should we go for an explanation if we cannot understand a writing, but to the Author of the book. He hears the prayer that never reaches the lips, for He searches the heart. You may be assured that if your faith is the work of the Holy Spirit, you shall hold on to your trust in God whatever happens, and neither the insult of the scorner nor the delay of the answer shall move you from it.

Yet take heed that your faith rests upon the promise of God and not upon a fancy of your own. We must get the promise and then offer the prayer, and the prayer will be answered as sure as God is God, but to get our own fancy into our head will be of no service to us. To say, I must believe my prayer is already answered, may be presumption if it is not grounded upon what God has actually promised in His Word. True faith does not waver like the waves of the sea driven by the wind and tossed, for he that wavers is told to expect nothing of the Lord. It does not dictate to God how or when He shall answer, but it leaves the answer to be given after God's fashion. The Lord has sometimes answered at once, while His servant was yet speaking, and at other times He has suffered His servants' voices to echo as from a brazen sky to try their faith by long delays. His answer comes punctually at the very tick of the clock of wisdom, not before nor after.

Therefore let your confidence lead you to prayer, and let that prayer be full of confession and fervent in spirit, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much, but if icicles hang about our lips we cannot expect it to be prevalent. First of all, seek the Lord for your soul. We asked that God would have mercy upon us and blot out our sin, and He heard that, and when He had blotted out our sins like a cloud we had more prayers to offer. There is no coming to the Father but through Jesus Christ alone, and peace with God comes only by simply believing, by merely trusting in Him. If you have that peace, you will have double cause for prayer, for He who has delivered you spiritually will also come to your assistance temporally as it pleases His love.

We will pray for you as you desire, in Jesus' Name and in Jesus' Name only, for only He can do this. We do not ask God to bless any desire or relationship that runs against His holy Word, for marriage is His institution, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all intimacy and living together belong within it, and salvation is through Christ alone. Rather we pray that He will conform every desire and every affection to His will, that He will give you a faith that works by love and purifies the soul, and that He will perfect that which concerneth you. May He forsake not the work of His own hands in you, neither in the day of your repentance nor in the day of your strongest faith, lest faith degenerate into presumption. May He give you grace to continue much in prayer, to send as it were seven times like Elijah's servant, still believing that Jehovah cannot lie, and to overcome through faith, which is the victory that overcomes the world.

Keep on knocking until the door is opened, and rest in this, that the Lord will perfect even that which now tries your faith, and will keep you until you receive the end of your faith, even the salvation of your soul.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
